Very good Professor. Fair and just and very clear. Gives many exams, quizzes, homeworks and extra credits which makes it easier to get a good grade. She appreciates effort and work.

This was an online pre-calc class.It was extremely easy.The same homework load online as if you were attending a class on campus.Watching the lectures weren't necessary, and the exams were exactly from the study guide that she gives out.Super easy class even if you suck at math!

She explains everything very clearly. she takes steps to explain problems and her reviews are just like her exam so if you do the review, you are to get an A on the exam. she is always available during her office ours and helps you alott. awesome teacher

Took online class. HW is easy. You can cheat the system a little. No reason not to get 100% on all HW. Tests are fair. Not easy, but it's precalc!

She was one of the best teachers I've ever had (and I am not a 'math wiz' at all). She was always happy and willing to help with any questions that I had to ask. Online homework and study guide problems are the exact kind of problems that are on the exams. She really wants her students to be successful in her class. I would recommend her to anyone!

Took two of her classes online. She's really great! Explains everything. Tests are easy. Overall, she makes math seem like a piece of cake. Just do all of your homework and TAKE THE PRACTICE QUIZZES online (as much as possible), and you will get an easy A.

I did NOT take this class online. In person, her lectures were very clear and her notes were very easy to understand. She was nice and helpful during office hours. I dont know how she is online, but for in-class lectures I definetly recommend her to everyone!!! Tests are easy and same as on the diagnostics which you have to do anyways!

She's really nice, at first it's difficult to understand her and follow her notes but she's pretty clear on the concepts and everything. I'd take a class with her again.

Course was very easy. We got two attempts at the final and we got to go back in to raise our homework grades up until the last week of school. Study for tests using the practice quizzes which the test answers are taken from and you should have no problems. The only complaint I have is that the tests were too short so it was hard to get an A on them

this class material was difficult just like any other math class, but the in online class, everything was open browser, and open book/notes. Very simple to do, I definitely could have gotten a better grade if I didn't just slack off.

She was extremely helpful and quick to answer emails. Her videos were clear and helpful, better than the text.

There is a good amount of homework, like in every other math class. Overall the class was easy, however her lectures are a bit hard to understand but they aren't necessary since you can use the book and examples. I was scared about taking an online course but it was easier than I thought it would be.

Homework is time consuming but her videos are helpful. MyMathLab makes it impossible to not get 100% on HW. Easy class. Pre-tests are just like the actual test. TAKE HER!

Just finished this class with an A, let the class redo all of the homework so we could get 100% in the category. The material gets more difficult as the semester goes on, but the pre test that she makes available for you prepares you for them no problem! Took this class a couple semesters ago with student teacher and failed, so this was nice :)

homework is easy as long as you use the view and example option. test questions are used from quizzes she gives that arent for a grade so its great practice. easiest math class ive ever taken and i could barely pass highschool prealgebra.

This class is easy enough. I never really asked for help with anything, mymathlab has a ton of resources so even with the tougher lessons you can make it through. Beware that if you take the class online over summer, you will have things due every day. All in all if you do the homework and the practice quizzes, the exams should be easy enough.

I loved they way she presented the material. She explains everything in good detail. She can sometimes make you feel like you are in elementary school from the way she teaches. She also gives you a lot of chances to succeed by taking away your lowest test score (or two) and your four lowest HW scores, which makes the class pretty easy.

Prof. Sleiman is awesome because she gives you so many resources. There's the book if your a reader or videos if your a watcher. I used the PowerPoint and they were amazing, had examples that were just like the test. She's there if you need her(and if you don't than she lets you do your thing) Unlimited times to do HW! Take online!!

I am absolutely HORRIBLE at math!!! Seriously I need a calculator for everything and I got an A+. Sleiman is so nice and sweet she responds quickly to emails and helps you to do well. :)

I suck at math, i actually failed this class the previous semester, but i retook it and was very happy in the class. She explains everything very clearly and I actually understood the material! Best math professor I've had in awhile.

I'm an 100% online student but was leery and worried of taking a Math course online. With math I have to be in a classroom for it to click. Miss Sleiman stuck with me the whole semester and made sure I succeeded. This was the first time in my life that a math class was my favorite course, it had everything to do with having a great instructor!

This is the best professor. She is 100% supporting her students and has the best interest in mind. I HIGHLY suggest this class. If you were leaning towards taking her class, then this is your sign to take it.

Prof. Sleiman is a very helpful person. It won't seem like it at first, but GO to office hours and the help you want is there! if you are behind, talk to her! she honestly is a great teacher, and she wants what's best for her students! Keep up in the class though, don't try to do anything like 2 days before the points are due.

I totally would recommend this class. Homework is fairly easy. 2 of the tests are not proctored and 3 tests are (including the final). THE FINAL IS CUMULATIVE so be ready. All of the problems on the tests come from the practice quizzes so do those and you should be fine.

I took this class online and it is set up perfectly and is very simple to follow. She uses MyMathLab which is a helpful site. There is quite a few homework assignments, but as long as you keep up with them you'll be fine! Also, tests are through ProctorU so people watch when you take exams, but you are still allowed a cheat sheet/notes. Great class

This semester was great. Professor Sleiman has wonderful lectures that are very helpful. She uses MyMathLab, which is very easy to use. There are 4 exams (and a final) and the practice quizzes are exactly like the exams, just different numbers. Overall, awesome class!

I took this class online and i'm so glad I took it with her! All of the online exams are proctored, but she allows us one 8.5x11 sheet of paper to write any notes or math problems/steps we'd like on the paper for use during the exam. Exams were straight off the mymathlab homwork and had about 30 problems. The practice tests were very helpful!

Great class, night and day difference from other professors on ASU's West Campus. Explains very well, just follow the syllabus and you should do fine!

While math in general is pretty hard, Professor Sleiman made this class a great experience. There is a lot of homework, which is expected for a math class, but you can easily get an 100% on all the homework. Professor Sleiman makes two study guides for the tests, which her test questions directly come from. She is very quick to respond to emails.

This class was so easy. I took her online pre-calculus class and got an A+. Just review the section before doing the homework and take all of the practice quizzes. The quizzes are optional but she pulls her test questions from the quizzes and if you get those right then its an easy A.

Great!For a math professor. Mymathlab was used so homework assignments were easy to figure out if you did't watch the lecture videos. She ended up dropping the lowest test score, giving the chance to improve HW scores, and plus final exam is w/o an online proctor and you had the option to retake it for a better score.

Course consists of HW and proctored exams both using MyMathLab. 4 exams and a cumulative final (not proctored). Lowest test dropped (not final). Provides practice quizzes which have about 50 questions (usually taken from HW). Exams 10-15 questions and come from practice quiz problems. Excellent and caring instructor! Responds to emails very quick!

I'm not the best at math, but I was able to get a B. MyMathLab was used, which I'm not a huge fan of. If you have to take this class, I would recommend her, although be prepared with an online course to spend time to teach yourself some parts.

She drops the lowest test score before the final. Overall decent class, you use MyMathLab, so be prepared to teach yourself some things although she posts lectures. I definitely could have put forth more effort, probably gave it like 60% effort. If you try you'll get an A. She's helpful if you're struggling.

Honestly one of the best professors I've had and this is even an online class. She gives you the entire class (lectures and homework) so you're able to work ahead if you'd like. The lectures she posts on blackboard are INCREDIBLE because she goes into depth why she's doing whatever it is she's doing. She makes it easy to understand math.

Its been 10 yrs since my last math class, so this icourse was hard for me in the beginning. Her videos weren't too helpful, so I had to go to the tutoring center be able to understand her material. Do the practice quizzes since she takes test questions from there! I do recommend her class!

Took her in person for MAT 117 and loved her! Decided to take a leap and take MAT 170 online with her and she was extremely helpful and very accessible for questions. She even face-time me to go over a problem I was struggling over the weekend since emailing back and forth wasn't working.

Sleiman is wonderful. She clearly cares about her work and her students' performance. She responds to e-mails immediately and has great lectures, even for an online class. She is very communicative of expectations as well and provides opportunities to increase your grade. The class is no easy A, it's pre-calc, but love her and would take her again!

Gives you practice quizzes before each exam and uses the same questions. This class isnt hard if you do your homework and put in 3-4 hours of studying for each exam. Youre recorded during the exams but she lets you use a sheet of paper for notes. Id definitely take her for 211 if she was teaching it

Fida is a great prof. she gives great feedback. The HW has ex. probs. that really help you get through the HW in no time. The tests? tough but if you know the material and look at your cheat sheet you'll be fine. I once missed a test and she gave me another chance to do it. no way you cant pass if you try. chance to get 100% for all HW at end

I love Professor Sleiman. I was scared to take online math courses, but her MAT117 and MAT210 course makes it easy. Homework assignment due twice a week, 4 tests, and a final. You're allowed 1 page of notes and practice quizzes to study from. Ms. Sleiman is very polite over email and it seems like she really cares about the success of her students.

Professor Sleiman is awesome! She is very organized and knows how to run her course. The practice quizzes are almost IDENTICAL to the exams, so as long as you study you should do fine. She also gives you a chance at the end to bring up your grade!!

First off, I suck at math. Can't tell you how much I hate math. But for whatever reason, I really enjoyed this class and I believe it had to do with this professor. She provided a ton of resources and online lectures that made breaking things down easy. I took hella notes but again, this professor was very responsive and helpful.

Math is not my strong suit but Prof. Sleiman made it easy. Everything was on MathLab and her lectures were very helpful. Homework can be done as many times as you want. I did the practice quizzes for the test and the test questions are the same as the quizzes. Had to use online proctoring but was allowed a sheet of notes. I would totally recommend!

Sleiman is literally the easiest math class I've ever taken. I never thought I'd be getting an A in MAT210, as it isn't my forte. There's 4 tests and a final - she drops the lowest score - and she uses MyMathLab over WebAssign - You can go back & improve math scores until the end of the class. Its impossible to get anything but an A or B.

If math is not really your thing then you should take her because it will make your life easier. The first 3 tests are proctored, but they are easy because she takes the questions from practice quizzes. The last 2 tests (one of them being the final) are not proctored. She is also very organized. I truly recommend her class.

I struggled with MAT210 from another teacher, I highly recommend this teacher. The homework is heavy, about 3 to 5 hours an assignment. But the assignments really do help with the exam. The exam is open notes, which I needed, and one exam is dropped. So yes, take this teacher if you suck at math.

This class was not too bad, most of the work is done on ALEKS. You are able to complete the class early if you complete all the topics and tests. Even though this was a session C class, I finished before session B even started. If you need help she will have her TAs help you or she will help. Professor Sleiman was nice and she was helpful.

Professor Sleiman is willing to help you, i took her for MAT117 so the course mainly revolved on ALEKS. But shes there to help you with any doubt, theres also TAs that help. Class is easy, no textbook required, and as a average person in math the test are not hard. She provides study guides that are very similar to the actual test.

Lots of homework and practice quizzes that take a good amount of time, BUT you get unlimited attempts on both and the test questions are practically straight from there... do the homework and the quizzes and ace the class...

Professor Sleiman is a god send! I failed MAT210 last semester and read her reviews which lead me to her class this spring. I am passing with an A right now and I suck at math. While there is a good amount of homework, she wants everyone to pass exams! Before each exam she releases practice tests and most questions come directly from those. 100/10!

Not going to lie, it is pretty easy to cheat your way through her online courses. However, there was a time that MyLab Math (what all of her homework is posted on) was not working for a couple weeks for several of her students and her emailed response to me was basically "that sucks, it works for me so figure it out". Otherwise she's alright.

Exam questions are picked directly from the practice quizzes and you are allowed a sheet of notes. On top of that, 1 of the 4 exams is dropped completely. Sleiman was accommodating when I needed an extension for health problems, and provided an extension longer than the one I requested. If you hate or fear math, I recommend Sleiman!

An absolute gem. You can tell she really wants the best for her students and for them to succeed. Replies to emails fast. All resources available, she gives you extra resources and time to go back and improve your scores on hw. You CAN bring notes into tests and tests are based on practice quizzes. A really understanding professor. And for this class, you just need to work hard, and then you can get a great score. The practice problems are extremely similar to the exam problems. So only reviewing the practice problems before exams and work for it, you can get A.

Math has never been my strong suit, but this course actually helped me to understand the material. There is a lot of homework but you get unlimited attempts on it which makes it less stressful yet really helpful. You are recorded when you're taking the tests but the questions were from the homework and the practice. Great course and teacher

Great professor, care about your grades and the test is very similar to the actual exams.

One of the better iCourses I've taken (especially through Pearson). "Help me solve this" and example problems available! Three tries before getting the question wrong and lecture videos to help. Homework, quizzes, and tests are similar. She responds to emails quickly! I recommend using your homework scratch paper as notes for the quizzes/tests.

this professor was amazing. she was so lenient and definitely cares for her students. She drops the lowest test grade, gives you a chance to improve every hw score even after the due date, lets you have a cheet sheet on tests (if you know how to cheat through honorlock ;)and on the final you do not have to use honorlock so its open note. highly rec

Love her! she gives you every opportunity to pass this class even if you arent good at math like me. If you have a choice to pick her DO IT. All tests are exactly like practice quizzes just different numbers so right those down and do step by steps on your cheat sheet(s) ;) and you will pass. She wants her students to succeed.

As someone who is not a huge math fan, this is the best professor you'll find for required math courses. I did find this course quite easy, may not be for some as content gets a little difficult towards the end. Professor is super sweet though and allowed us to improve homework grades whenever + gave 2 attempts on 2/5 exams. Drops lowest exam score

I took this class during the summer session after failing this class taught by a different professor previously. This class was easier and very clear cut. Wish I would have taken this class to begin with.

This class was very easy as long as you use the practice tests before taking exams. She also responds to emails fairly quickly. There were four exams and one final, the exams are on lockdown browsers but the final is not.

This class is honestly pretty challenging, but the online system is laid out nicely. There are practice exams that mimic the actual exams, make sure to take them multiple times to prepare! 75% of your grade is based on tests, so it is challenging in that sense. One exam gets dropped.

She clearly cares for her students and will take extra time to help you understand. She sends reminders often to make sure you make deadlines. She is willing to work with students I always felt welcome asking her questions. Put in the hours and she will notice.

Ample opportunities to increase homework scores, !!practice quizzes!! take these as she chooses the test questions for them. 4 tests proctored with an allowed note sheet, lowest test dropped and a final exam that is cumulative but not proctored. Professor always sent out helpful reminders and take this course and prof!!!!

Nice professor! Just the subject itself is incredibly hard, in my opinion, but the lowest exam got dropped. The homework also took me hours and hours to get through sometimes, and occasionally it did not make sense even when I am done with it.

Incredibly tough class. I took over summer and there was so much homework it was kind of insane. Exams were very difficult, however was allowed a little cheat sheet to help with the exams that made it much easier especially towards the end. However much easier than other calculus classes so I would take this one instantly.

This professor is a lifesaver! Lots of opportunities to boost your grade, like practice quizzes, multiple exam attempts, and the ability to improve homework scores. Even if math isn't your strong suit, unstuckstudy and the open-note final can really help you succeed.

Take it from someone who took MAT 117 3 times. TAKE THIS MATH CLASS! There's 5 exams total including the final. There's no honor lock for the final. This was my first time successfully passing a math class here at ASU.

Professor Sleiman is really nice. The material in this class can be tough at times, but you need to take advantage of the practice quizzes because she puts the same questions on the test. The 4 tests are proctored, but the final is not. There is a lot of homework but you have unlimited chances and it gives you examples. She drops one test score.

She is truly so amazing, take her!! She is so kind and wants to see all her students succeed. Her lectures are great and you can easily get an A if you put the work in. 4 tests, 1 final. 1 test dropped. Practice quiz q's are exactly like the q's on tests and the final. Note sheet is allowed on tests. Honorlock is used for tests but not the final.

if you have the option to take this class with this professor DO IT. she allows one sided sheet of notes for exams. do all the homework and practice quizzes you will be good. practice exams are long BUT theyre exactly like the exam . She also has no honor lock for final exam and drops lowest exam score. take her she is the best!

Her course is quite manageable. I didn't study extensively, and her tests closely mirror the practice quizzes so consistent practice is enough to succeed. I'm not sure why some students struggle with her class, as the material is very straightforward when approached with regular review. if u fail her class then that is on you.

I had to withdraw from this class due to technical issues with online testing in the middle of the semester, but she was very understanding and accommodating. She gave me multiple extensions when I ran into problems, which I really appreciated. The only downside I noticed was that the lecture videos felt a bit outdated and not very engaging.

I took this online and honestly it was chill. It was like 3 homeworks a week, and every month or so there's a test. There's 4 tests and she drops the lowest one, and then there's the final but it's weighted the same as the other 3 tests. If you can do math, this class is fine. Obviously online is a little harder than in person though.

AMAZING TEACHER! she deserves the 5+ star rating. After failing math so many times throughout college finally one I pass with a decent grade! Thanks to her for all the chances to improve on homework, dropping the lowest test to not affect your grade. Definitely recommend best icourse class I've took so far with my time at ASU

Professor Sleiman cares about her students. I say this because she took the time to make sure majority of her students were passing by giving us extra time to work on assignments past the due date for no late work penalty. This was my last math class and she made sure I passed. I'd recommend her to anyone.10/10 One of the best teachers i've had.

Honestly the criteria was straight forward. She drops lowest quiz and test grade and also reopened all homework to re-due at the end of the semester. She wants you to pass no reason you shouldn't.
