Very good professor

Very good professor, test are semi hard but he is a good grader that gives extra credit and good lectures

Professor D is one of the coolest professors you'll ever have in PBSC. He is very interactive and makes you feel at home during his lectures, he's a very humorous person and cracks funny jokes during class to keep you awake and take some stress off your mind. You cant fail if you give minimum effort in class. 10/10 Professor PICK HIM!

You can easily pass as long as you show up and pay attention. He gives you a lot of homework but it is unlimited attempts! He really prepares you for the test and gives you an opportunity to virtually meet outside of class. He gives you a test review which is similar to the test and if you do it you get 5 extra credit added to your test grade.

If you struggle with math, TAKE HIMM HE WILLL TEACH YOU AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND, he gives the opportunity to make up work at the end!!!!!!

Just pay attention in class, do the homework, study, and do well on exams. He makes things very understandable. Takes his time to make sure students understand the material. Likes to make jokes and is pretty funny. Just a great professor all around.

Professor Fils Dieu-Conserve is amazingly patient in answering all your questions about solving math problems. He presents a test review for class and has another test review for extra credit on a test, which is very helpful. He has professional teaching skills when it comes to having a friendly-fun environment.

If you have trouble keeping up he moves at a fast pace but he does encourage tutoring. I don't think he is a bad professor but it was a tough class for me but I must say that he is fair and gives you all the tools to pass

He is a lil wacky, but he wants everyone to succeed and tries his best to push for just that. He gives lectures in class and follows with time to review the lecture, answer questions, and work a bit on HW. As long as you do the work as it comes out you should not get overwhelmed and hopefully can learn as successfully as I did.

I've never been good at math but Prof D made it click for majority of the time. I get discouraged easily when it comes to math and he gave and said useful tips that I will take in for the rest of my future classes. He is always willing to do what he can to help and often gives you opportunities for extra points! Take him!!!!!

I was worried about taking this class online. If you take a class that only meets once a week, keep in mind you will have to studying but this professor is amazing. He will make sure you understand the material. He gives extra credit and is an easy grader on test. If you show up to every class and do all the work, you will pass this class.

Honestly, one of the best professors, the best way to pass is just to do the homework/reviews and show up to class, & I guarantee you will get an A or B. The tests are pretty easy if you do the review because they are very similar. He makes class interesting during the lectures so it's easy to participate.

The professor does give you practice tests that you may do prior to the tests & if you receive a score of 80% or higher, he will give you 5 EC points. Yes, he does have an accent, but I understood him. Lockdown AND an external camera (not the one built into your laptop) are required. Attend your lectures and do your HW- 25% of your grade.

Take this professor for ANY math classes, he is the best. I came back after taking a long break from college and I was finally able to learn and understand concepts that took me literal years to understand. Homework and tests are a big factor in your grade. If you do the study guide and come to class you will get no less than a B in this class.

The professor comes off as hard during his first class. I believe he did this to set the tone for his expectations of us throughout his course. As long as you pay attention in class and do your homework test should be easy. The textbook is mandatory because that is where you will do your homework and test. Test review is not graded but you do get a chance to get extra credit that goes towards tests.

I took this professor for intermediate algebra and he was good then, and he is good now! He breaks down the material simple enough for a kid to understand. He's a joker and has a refreshing sense of humor. I'd recommend him to everyone! Really nice teacher :)

Exams are a bit difficult if you don't make time to study out of class time. Great professor, lectures were always clear. There was 4 tests and 1 final exam. Each of the 4 tests had about 5-6 homework lessons with about 10-25 questions. The reviews help you a lot if you dedicate the time, I am really happy I took this class.

Very easy class if you pay attention to the lecutures , homework is easy and he doesnt give a lot of it. Test are lockdown browser but are fairley easy if you pay attention. 15 points extra credit towards the end and he drops your lowest test score with your final exam grade.

Before this class I was very scared of math , but now I got a better understanding of the subject. Dr D. is an excellent teacher he used different way to get you to understand. He has an accent, but hes also has a Phd on both mathematic and civil engineer. He knows math inside and out. If you struggling to pass math you should definitely take him.

Professor Dieu-Conserve is the best professor to take math classes with at PBSC. If you are able to get in his classes (they fill up quickly) you will pass your math class with at least a B. He has a bit of an accent but, he make sures the class fully understands concepts before moving on. What is on the homework/practice tests are on the exam.

This Professor Does an excellent job of teaching the material and trying to keep the class as exciting as possible. However, as I did in the summer, it was a very intense workload per week, so if you take it during the summer, expect 6+ assignments plus a test. However, you get infinite attempts for homework and many extra credit opportunities.

He is a great teacher, super friendly, but if math isn't a strong suit (like me) I highly recommend DO NOT take it as an express class. There will be a lot of homework assignments each week following with a test.

Professor FIls is a good teacher and teaches you to understand what you're learning so if you are not so strong in math I recommend you to take, he doesn't just give you a grade you must earn it and once taught the material you must study to pass. Overall I highly recommend it.

Honestly Dr. D was my favorite professor this semester. Yes, he is strict with attendance and participation but it is only because he truly wants you to learn and pass his class. Tests are pretty easy because they are mostly multiple-choice. he gives us A TON of extra credit opportunities. It's a difficult course, but I 100 percent would recommend you take it.

Dr. D was amazing. He communicates well and responds back in a timely manner. If you complete his test review it's 5 points extra credit towards your test. He likes to joke and use you name in class, so be sure to pay attention.

Professor Dieu-Conserve was extremely helpful during this course. I took this course multiple times in the past, and could not understand the content we were learning. I decided to take a live online class with Professor Dieu-Conserve, and the way he presented the material just made it click. He is amazing!

I took the 6 week college algebra class. Dr.D can be tough but it's because he wants you to learn and participate. He gives ample opportunities for extra credit from doing test reviews and leaving reviews for his class. Always available for extra help and gives good grades for trying your best. Humor can be hard to get used to if you're sensitive.

It was my second class with him; the first time I attended his lectures in person. I highly recommend him as a math professor. The tests are easy if you do the homework and pay attention in class. He allows the use of flash cards during tests.

If you have a hard time following directions, this professor is NOT for you. He is very STRICT with his testing policy. You have to have an external webcam, both hands MUST be visible at all times(or its an automatic zero), face & workspace must be visible at all times. Other then that the class is a breeze.

Honestly, take this class with him if you can. He makes algebra way easier to understand and breaks things down so it actually makes sense. He's super chill, always willing to help, and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking questions. As long as you show up and do the work, you'll be fine. I was dreading this class but he made it way better.

I took this online class for a short 6 week semester, this meant we had to cover a lot of material in a short amount of time, 4 hours, twice a week. we had a test every once a week, don't take this short semester class if you are not above average at math. very strict browser lockdown and external webcam for tests. allowed 1 flashcard.

Dr. Fils Dieu-Conserve is an all-around great teacher. He instructs an 8 AM class that doesn't make me want to go back to sleep, and he's really funny, which encourages me to participate more often. I will say he's very big on punctuality and attendance, so I wouldn't recommend this class if you're frequently tardy, as attendance is a grade.

Dr. Dieu- Conserve 's clear explanations and step-by-step approach made a positive impact on my experience. He was always patient, encouraged questions, and used real-life examples to make math easier to understand. Dr Dieu was a great professor. Coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of math, I was hesitate especially when he was describing his requirements from the class. Hands down the best match teacher i've had so far at pbsc. he also provides extra credit for tests which helps out a ton. very easy to pass as long as you do the homework and take notes. he is strict about camera angles for live-online but i've never had an issue with it, as he provides very clear instructions on how to setup the angle.

Dr. D is honestly one of my favorite math teachers i've ever had. He explained things very very well and always tried to make his lectures entertaining for all. Attendance is very important and is graded also. I definitely would take another class with him, he's the best!!

I would like to recognize Professor Fils Dieu-Conserve for the excellent job he has done in teaching MAC 1105. He is an inspirational and highly respected instructor who truly cares about his students' success. His teaching style makes complex math concepts easier to understand, and he always encourages participation and critical thinking.

Overall, I would say he is a good teacher. His lectures do move pretty fast but do believe he cares for his students. He also provides our homework through Pearson included for free. I am not the best with math, so this class was a bit of a challenge since the homework is usually way harder than the tests and takes me a long while to complete.

Pretty simple class just be there and things will be okay.

He is very knowledgeable about his subject and will explain the topics to the best of his ability, also making sure to do the pretests they help.

He tells it how it is! If you take the online course beware that you HAVE to turn on your camera every class, he will take points off if you do. You also need to have a non-built-in camera that shows your entire desk if you aren't sure ask him if the way you it have set up is okay after class. The class truly is how easy you make it.

This Professor was lecture heavy, everything we covered in class was in the tests. If missed, recordings could be found online. Each sections designated assignments (HW etc) were due on a set date from the start. Everything was organized accordingly, as the Professor worked with students depending on certain situations.

This professor was caring and sweet. While he was the "no nonsense" type, I genuinely appreciated his lectures and allowed us plenty of time to ask him questions for clarification. If you put the work in, you'll get a lot out of this class. Be prepared for the lockdown browser. For me, it was easiest to take the tests at the PBSC libraries!

Be prepared for the Lockdown browser testing. I found it easiest to go to one of the PBSC libraries and take the test at one of their testing-designated areas, so you don't have to buy your own camera. The work you put into the class is the work you will get out of it. He made jokes in class and always kept a positive and professional environment.

This teacher was amazing! The class was very easy material and he also made it easy to understand. The tests were like the test review and what we go over in class. He's a stickler for rules and policy but other than that he's a nice guy. You need to attend class but his class is easy. If you do his homework and do the bare minimum for participation you are basically guaranteed a 90%+ on the exams. He also usually will give you a lot of points back for questions you get wrong on the test.
