Very Hard Class! I had to drop it at the halfway point. Aside from the class being hard, she's from Uganda, so sometimes it's difficult to understand what she's saying. The tests are insanely hard and I have no idea where she pulls the questions from. Take Lenhard. Very easy teacher and it's fun.

I agree with what others have written--RUN! Horrible! Doesn't stick to the syllabus. Gives out assignments at the last minute that aren't even in the syllabus. Cancels class a lot.

She is the reason I am changing my major. Skills as a teacher is lacking. Her views are the only right ones.

I am an A student and I found that class ridiculous. She does not teach. The tests are a joke. The first test I took was fifty questions, the first 25 matched the last 25, but half the time the correct answer was not even an option. I never went to class, never knew how well I did on the tests, and made an A. I think she just gives people grades.

didn't seem to know what she was doing. expects you to know everything in the book. doesn't offer much extra credit. she changed her grading policy a week before the final and screwed over everybody in the class!

DO NOT TAKE HER! she sucks! her class is pointless and dumb. she never shows up and never teaches anything. her slides dont match the tests and she changes her grading every other day. shes very rude and hateful to all her students!

This teacher is horrible. I made a B in her class and I knew i didnt deserve it (so I'm not complaining abou that) HOWEVER on my final grade at first I had an "I" b/c she lost my test. She kept telling me that i didnt take it, then changed and said I did, then said another one was missing. She gave me a "B" only when i threatened 2 taker her 2 DEAN

Does not know how to teach, changes her mind like the wind blows. SHe does not stick to her syllbis and needs to rethink her role as the sociology club advisor. She does not care what other think, just herself....

Knows her material but does not teach. Simply stands there and reads power point material to you. She curves because her tests are extremely difficult and almost impossible to study for. Changes her mind like the wind. Does not stick to the syllabus. She is not flexible and does not work with her students.

horrible!!! absolutely horrible!! I would NEVER recommend anyone taking a class from this woman. Don't sign up and you'll save yourself the trouble of dropping or withdrawing.

Find another professor to take, Newtson is the best one. He is very clear in his expectations of the class. She has no idea how to teach, she just reads off of those boring pp. Please reconsider her as a teacher. I am suprised she is still there at CSU.

this teacher is honestly a joke. for one she can't spell. shouldn't that be a requirement to becoming a professor? second of all she talks about complete nothing then decides,"hey, it's test time." she is late to class almost every meeting but gets angry when students walk in late.her class should be called africa. worst teach

I really don't think I have learned anything in this class. She tends to talk in circles and then all of a sudden it is time for a test. Almost every class she tires to get us to go on her Uganda trip which no one wants to go on.

I am sure she is intelligent, she has a PHD. I think, and others will agree, that she should seek employment that does not involve teaching. Never prepared for class, always doing things on the fly, and as othI ers have mentioned.... talking in circles. I looked forward to learning something in this class and was sorely disappointed.

She was an OK teacher but she used Chris as a Whipping boy. (Chris was our assistant teacher). But as long as you pay attention and keep up in class conversation you Will pass. My friend and I both Failed 2 of the three tests but we were always active in class conversation and we ended up with B's.

This woman is ridiculous. Had her for online and thinks that we can teach ourselves. That's fine, but you can't learn anything without some form of guidance. DO NOT TAKE HER. Worst teacher I have come across. AVOID at all cost. It is not worth the hardship and struggle. Doesn't grade, doesn't respond to you. Treats everyone like idiots.

I managed an A in this class, despite Dr. Wakoko. Her course was severely disorganized, she took weeks to respond to all correspondence, utilized horrible grammar, and posted major changes to several assignments with no warning.I can't attest to her in person classes, but she obviously isn't qualified to teach online.

My major is sociology. She is the worst teacher that I have ever come across! Do not take her! She gives tests over the wrong chapters and won't let you re-take the test. She does not always email you back. This class was terrible!

You cannot understand her at all. She cancels class 247 at the last minute, so be prepared to be sitting in class and receive a cancellation email 5 minutes before the class starts. Only takes attendance when she feels like it. And will assign things, but later change her mind.

My major is sociology and Dr Wakoko is by far the worst teacher I have taken. She hardly ever emails you back. Takes attendance when she wants to. For our midterm she handed out a study guide that covered hardly anything discussed in class. I had to teach myself the material. A waste of time and money. If you can, avoid her. It's not worth it.

Currently taking two upper level classes with her and it is a complete nightmare. She is very unorganized, distracted, degrading and just not a good teacher. She tests on material that you never discuss in class. Avoid by all cost. You will not learn anything. She may have her doctorate but she's not teacher material.

Somehow I managed to make an A in this class, but Wakoko was the worst teacher I have ever had. You can hardly understand her. She gets off topic and does not know what she is talking about half the time. She only takes attendance when she feels like it. I made an A in this class is because her final was the same as the study guide. DoNOT TAKE.

If you absolutely need a sociology class or an easy A I would take her just beware she is very annoying. The tests are right from the study guide but she is weird about handing extra tests out if you're late or miscounted your row

Wakoko is THE worst professor at CSU. She is very well educated and knows what shes talking about, but she can just not teach AT ALL. She gets sidetracked very easily and very seldom teaches the material thats actually on the tests. If you end up with this class, God speed.

I've had her in a few classes now, and she is the abysmal. No clear answers, direction, or information is given. Even if you clearly write out questions or issues, she will blow you off and not answer. All you do is write papers, and she doesn't grade them until the end of the semester. Half your grade is dependent on your final 20+ page paper.

This is the worst professor Ive ever taken at CSU. You can ask her direct questions and shell dodge answering them. She played favorites too much in her class which annoyed me. Also she gives ridiculous group works we had groups of 10 people who all have different schedules some even had kids how do you expect us all to work together.

Unorganized, syllabus lists dates and assignments from previous semesters. Last minute changes, class schedule is not up to date.
