I took Mr. McConnell online ofr interpersonal communications. I thought he was very fair. I notice that someone said he was bad. That is NOT TRUE. I made a B. He is stict with directions. That person probably did not do all there work! I dont think its cool to bad mouth a teacher when you probably did not do you work. I enjoyed the class.

I took this class online. My favorite was the movie paper. If you follow the instructions that are given you will do fine. Lots of reading and assignments, but you are given a month for each unit.

I took this class online. Class is broken into 3 units. Units are 3-4 chapters. Each unit has about 2 discussion boards, 3 assignments, and 1 exam. Exams are multiple choice; many questions are taken from optional pre-tests. There is also a movie paper (3-5 pages). Only fault with this professor... can take over a month to grade assignments! Easy A

I took him Spring 2011 I made an A. He is very clear of what he wants his quiz are not mandatory but will prepare you for the test. The test are ok and you have one paper and discussion questions. He is good and grades fair.

Mr. McConnell's expectations are very clear. As long as you follow directions and complete the assignments with your best effort before their due dates, you should have no problems. He was very helpful when I emailed him about an error that occurred and got back to me the next day. I really enjoyed this class and made an A.

Mr McConnell was AMAZING! I took his class for public speaking in the 3 week mini-mester and I enjoyed it so much. I started out a shy speaker, I would sweat and get tounge tied EVERY TIME. I hate public speaking and had no interest what so ever to take this class BUT the teacher is so helpful and awesome! his class in not only very educational but very entreating because he's funny. At the beginning of the course i was very nervous but at the end my speech skills highly improved.

Easy class, all you have to do is discussion boards and one page responses for each unit. One group project that's basically a discussion board with different members, and a movie paper. His optional chapter quizzes are the test ,so I suggest writing them down. 3 unit test,and no final!

This professor provides lots of information needed for tests. The topics for papers are very interesting and -if you put in some effort- not very hard. I had medical problems and surgery during that semester, fell behind a good bit and still ended up with a grade C. He is very understanding if he sees you try.

I recommend Oral Interpretation with Mr. McConnell. The class was very easy and was a lot of fun. I learned a lot about story telling. He is very funny and made the class laugh.

Although it was a mini, and I am not a morning person. He made it easy to wake up in the morning and wanting to come to class and learn. You learn so much easier then any other professor who teaches by the books. WILL RECOMMEND 10/10 BEST PROFESSOR I had since I started college.

Professor Floyd was a really great professor very considerate of his students time and gives you a reasonable amount of time to turn all your assignments in. If i had the choice to take this professor again I would. He is so organized. If you are debating on taking speech or interpersonal communication teachers he is a great choice!

This professor is great for public speaking class. I took this class for 8 weeks and it went great. Had to watch many nice movies to fill up the discussion board. You can also use her power points to get the answer. I think this part was time-consuming , but other then that all of the quiz and exam answers were found on quizlet.

I really liked Mr. McConnell, I took him in the fall semester of 2024. He likes to share stories, when he rambles on he always connects back to a circle. You will enjoy his class and he assigns little to no assignments. Take his class before he retires lol

I would definitely take him again. Lectures were not just him talking. They were more classroom discussions. He will treat you fairly like a human being. Participating helps. And do the work. He will not give you extra credit or make up work if you don't even do the regular given assignments. He gives exam reviews prior to the exam.

I just finished the semester with him and overall, he is an amazing professor. Something I have learned is that he will never give 100s in the work, highest I have gotten on a speech was a 95 and I think that is the highest anyone can get. Very easy final and barely any assignments. Take him, you won't regret it.

I took this speech class in person, attendance matters because we do a lot of public speaking. Now that we're ending the semester let me say that this class was easy. As long as you follow instructions and get your speeches done you'll be fine. Pretty cool and funny professor, I would take again.
