Former graduate who studying in University. I have to retake Stat II. All I want to say is Floyd is very capable of teaching Stat. If you have him, you are lucky!

Floyd is the best prof in the accounting program. He likes girl much and he never look at me when i am talking with him. He is an easy marker and his tests and exam are easy. I always suggest my frds to take his course for As.

He likes making jokes and voice strange sound in the class. You like his jokes or not that is subjective. His notes are clear and useful for preparing the tests and exam.

Simply the best

This prof knows how to teach! He makes statistics understandable and amusing.

Stat is obviously boring and complex, but he always tries to make it interesting and clear.

hes pretty funny and he explain things fairly well but because he doesnt use the textbook he skips alot of minor things that could have been helpful, you need to self-read it yourself

Floyd is the greatest! He'll work your butt off until you feel like you've walked into boot camp! But he's an excellent teacher, and extremely fair on tests! His test questions are THE SAME FORMAT as what he writes on the board! Don't annoy him by skipping class or not paying attention.

I did not learn anything or forgot what I have learned in QNM222. After taking QNM444 with him, I understand the QNM444 materials as well as understanding what I had in QNM222. Take math with him if math is your weakness. His explainations are vey clear. His tests are fair-easy, if he makes them any easier, he will get fired.

He teaches well but gets VERY angry if people do not do homework. His ta tou tou thing is really annoying too. You will see. Overall, a good teacher if you go to class

I was afraid of taking this course, but finally I got A in QNM222. I like Floyd because he cares about his students a lot more than other teachers and has no discrimination and prejudice at all. Choose him if you want to successfully pass this hard course as you are not strong at statistics.

He helps make difficult concepts more understandable. He goes through the steps to a question slowly, so everyone will understand. If you have any questions, you should ask him and he will go over the answer again. His tests can be hard, but you should get a good grade if you go to class and take notes, do the homework, and study.

By far one of my Fav profs at seneca, make sure you go to class and take notes, do the homework questions he asks you to do, hes a really fair marker, interact with his discussions and youll pass!

Some students don't like him because the level of the professor is above those dumb students. You come to class, you excel in the course. There is no better professor than him in the college. Just take his notes and you will definitely get A+ in the course.

If you can stand his jokes, which a lot of the time I didn't find funny, he is the teacher to choose. There is no better teacher for QNM222/444. Although he didn't post much on the online Blackboard system, if you can do the practice tests he posts, you should be fine for the test. Floyd really cares about his students. He wants everyone to understand what he teaches but when you ask him questions, he gets mad and expects you that you should have understood the lecture. He gets angry when his students are not doing homework(understandable), take pictures of the notes he wrote on the board, and miss his class.

Floyd thinks he's funny, so his classes include a lot of cringe humor. I didn't enjoy him much as a person TBH. However, he is a really good professor. He teaches his course well and cares about students understanding every bit of the info. He makes statistics simple. Went from a C+ in QNM2222 to an A in big part to his teaching.

He has been a great mentor and a very nice person to have a conversation with. He is very much inspirational and tries his best to help his students achieve the best. Overall, one of the best professors in Seneca.

Amazing Professor! I think he is the only one that care a lot with his students learning in class. Classes aren't dull and he is humorous. Won't regret taking this class. Floyd is that professor who will not move forward with the lectures until everyone is on the same page. He will make sure that all his students have understood the topic being taught. Sample tests really help, relatively decent exams. Oh, he is definitely one of the humblest professors at Seneca.

Very good professor, is my second time taking a class with him! If you follow his lectures or recording classes and actually pay attention, you will notice that is like he opens your brain and put everything in! Pretty straight forward with what you need to pay attention and study for any test or exams. You wont regret taking his class!

Floyd brings a lot of energy and passion when teaching stats. You will have to buy and outside course that teachers you everything in stats so showing up to class is kind of pointless.
