She is a little harsh, but she expects to have adults in her class. She is a professor not a babysitter. Those offended need to grow thicker skin. If the student is (acts)interested, listens and follows directions then there will be no problem. She corrects you out loud; so what; everybody benefits.

Mrs. Bennett is a really good english teacher, I think people give her a hard time because she is not easy on people who want to skip class and not turn in the work she assigns. If you just do your work and not slack off, you will do just fine, just be serious about it. Shes funny and will help you out in anyway, just dont goof off

Mrs. Bennet is great, she gives you clear straight foward directions and she will answer any of your questions. She makes the research paper look like nothing. BUT you will only succeed in her class if you turn in everything on time and NEVER come in LATE.

this is my second time taking this course. If I had the help the first time like Ms. Bennett has given me this time, I would not have failed. She tutored me on every composition and gave specific hands so that I could follow the assignment. She is a good teacher.

Ms. Bennett is a great teacher. She will go over all assignments and help you with all of your writing. However, she does try to belittle you. She picked on one student in my class the whole semester. She seemed annoyed by him at all times. She has been known to make students cry. She's a great teacher, but can have her bad days. Watch out!

This teacher was excellent! If you attend class regularly, and turn in homework (like most of the students did not do) you will pass easily. The only people she belittled were the ones who deserved it. If you do the reading & turn in the EASY assignments & one research paper(that she guides you through in class) , it's a very fun class. :)

Prof. Bennett is AWESOME if you do NOT get on her bad side! By bad side - DO NOT SHOW UP LATE or backtalk her in the least. And she HATES excuses. But she's really fun and makes the class go by fast. I would definately recommend her!

Very tough teacher. You will use the book a lot. One good thing is that she is willing to help you a lot. Just dont get on her bad side. She expects you to do college work and not slack off like you did in high school. Have your stuff together. I liked it caue it was challenging. Then again...i love to write.

This professor expects college work from college studends. Need to be paying attention. I would be afraid to ask questions because she would not have tolerence for questions that have already been answered in the lecture. Overall she wus okay but made a C(without effort).

She was a hard teacher, but if you dont skip class and don't come tardy she will help you. She gives the last portion of class for students to come up and ask questions, and she will read your essay for errors. She's not one of those teachers who is paranoid about plagiarism. Challenging, but if you do the work you will make an A, I learned a lot

I loved Prof. Bennett! If you are in class on time, not on your phone, and sit towards the front she will help you in whatever way you need and you will for sure get a good grade!!

I had her for a semester and loved her! At first she does come across as a jerk but she practically holds your hand through everything. I you dont make the effort, neither will she. I learned that very quickly in her class. She takes a lot of grades too. She even has helped me with proofing any papers i needed to submit to my other professors.

She definitely favors girls, so luckily I did great in the class. She loved me and I think if you just do what she says and really listen to her, she can actually help you with your writing. She is not a terrible professor and she can be pretty funny. An A is very hard to get though. You have to really understand what she's looking for.
