Great prof who cares about the students and is a great prof for organic chem! Easy class as long as u put in the work and don't let the content build up.

I believe this year was the first year she decided to do a modified schedule. We would have to watch an online lecture, usually about 25 mins long, before our class. In class she would take up questions that are similar to questions that would be on the midterm or exam on that subject. I found this to be super helpful! Highly recommend!

SO AMAZING! Had her in W24 for orgo - if you can take it with her do it! She gives great breakdowns of all the midterms beforehand and has lovely three hour review session before each midterm/exam. Plus her open door policy for asking questions is extremely helpful. The course is hard, but if you put in the work, you will do well!

Awful. Just awful. Posted all her lectures online from 2 years ago, made us watch before class and did not teach any material in the actual lecture, just took up homework questions. Very easy to fall behind, and very difficult to understand as well. Labs are amazing though and very clear, also many opportunities to get grades up!

she taught in a flipped format, where you watch a 10-30 minute video before the class time and then during class she goes through practice questions. So much easier if you show up to class, but could pass without. Easy-medium to pass the course IF you actually watch the videos (fail if dont), she explains everything and practice questions in them.

Auzanneau was very sweet, she would always talk to us before lectures and go around asking how we are adjusting. She also gave us online classes on Fridays so we could go home early for the weekends (class went till 6:20 on Fridays). There was work to do outside of lectures, but if you manage to keep on top of it and go to class, you'll be fine.

She has a flipped classroom, which I found easy to fall behind in. Make sure you stay on top of homework; it's a heavy course overall. 1-on-1 interactions with her are sweet, but the course can be challenging—don't fall behind! Her modules are really helpful tho, even if you dont have her as a prof, do her modules before exams!!

I absolutely love this prof. It is obvious that she cares and wants all of her students to do well. She goes through a ton of example questions and has 3 hour review sessions the day before your midterm/exam where she takes you through how to solve questions from previous exams. Try to keep up with the content, otherwise it's easy to fall behind.

Prof Auzanneau is a very knowledgeable and honest professor. While Chem 1040 has a reputation for being a very difficult first-year course, as long as you listen to her lectures and complete her homework, you will have no trouble passing the class.

Such a sweet woman and great prof. I found her much easier to follow than de laat. And much nicer too. Everything gets posted online so it's not a big deal if you miss class, but I find it more engaging to go to the lectures. Takes the time to work through problems that people ask about.

Very nice prof, the use of a flipped classroom wasn't really my style but she did offer in person lectures as well which you could attend, overall she knew what she was doing when it came to chem and organized the course material in a way that made it easy to access resources and practice problems.

i put the tag participation matters to say that attedance does not matter at all whatsoever. All she does it go over problem set answers. No teaching. Basically if youre doing engineering this is an online class where you watch vids all day. So far most profs are good but way too hard like kim or jus flat out s**t like the intro to c prof.

This is pretty much an online class excluding labs. She posts notes, videos of her doing the notes, modules and videos of her doing the modules. Attendance is not mandatory however, stay on top of material. Cramming for the exams is not a good idea. So much content, difficult class, but definitely not impossible.

Course was delivered in a flipped format, with prerecorded lectures and homework done in class. I recommend going to class if you find it difficult to keep up with the content, but if the homework is easy, there's no need to attend. Don't cheat on the online midterms. Auzanneau is rooting for you. Her class requires diligent, consistent hard work.

Actually my goat, Her homework, midterm and final exam practice all are very good for preparing you for the actual exams and points out if you attend her lectures what homework practice questions would she expect to be on the exams. Always engages with students before, during, and after lecture always willing to help a student with questions.
