She's Super nice, i've never had a teacher who's so willing to help her students
She is SO easy. I was scared to take this class, but it is a joke. Just do the homework, and skim over the book before class, and you'll have 100% in the class. OPEN BOOK PROBLEMS ON TEST! Def go to lab though since 40% of your grade is from there and you can't find that info in the book.
i was also terrified of stats, but she makes the class easy. she is very nice and helpful. do not be afraid to approach her if you are having problems. open book problems on test, and the rest are multiple choice. overall pretty easy...just attend labs and do homework. also gives lots of extra credit.
Tests were very easy. More definitions than problems and problems were open book. Just do homework and go to lab, don't bother going to lecture, you will only bore yourself. Lots of bonus points.
Soooo boring, ugh! However the good thing about taking Svyantek is that you get a loooot of bonus points! I accumulated over 70 points throughout the semester, NO JOKE! The good thing about being there everyday is getting bonus for attending. The tests are sooo easy. Most of the test are definition questions. An "A" in this class IS EASY TO MAKE!
Great teacher. Sometimes a bit confusing b/c she explains everything through math (sometimes you just want an easy explanation) but other than that great class. I took a minimester, and as long as you pay attention to notes (all on webct) you'll do fine. You get bonus points for EVERYTHING! Tests are open book for problems, but rest is definition
Prof Svyantek is a really nice teacher, she is confusing in class but as long as you do the homework and go to lab you will do fine. Also offers lots of bonus work. Willing to help you out anyway she can. If you have to have 2010 take her.
Get this teacher. She is wonderful. Her lectures are boring but go because attendance is the only reason I got a B. She gives a lot of extra credit, so take advantage of it. The test are open book on the word problems.
Very easy if you get math. Even if you don't she provides so much help not to mention so much extra credit, there's no reason not to do well.
Definitely take this class! She is not the best teacher in the world but her class is not that hard. The hard part is the subject of statistics. She and the GTA's are helpful so use them...all in all... Better than the other stats teachers!
She's a wonderful teacher.VERY understanding&laid back.Isn't strict, but expects ur best. Psych is a hard class, but she gives ALOT of Xtra credit & actually wants the students to pass.Tests are multiple choice & 1st test is Open Book. She is VERY helpful and nice. I took her@Southern Union b4 she moved to Auburn. I would DEFINATELY reccomend her!
Very nice teacher... First test is a breeze so do well on that. The rest of her tests get pretty tough. She gives tons of extra credit and is very nice lady. Recommend her for stat.
Helpful teacher. Her tests are hard after the first one. Take notes in class, use book! Study hard. But she gives LOTS of EC, take advantage - trust me! Hw is worth points, participation points for going to class -signing in (staying). Very helpful. doesnt lecture well. Shes a handful, kinda crazy, but nice! Overall take her, easy, work hard, do EC
Take Svyantek for Statistics! She is really nice and gives lots of extra credit. Make sure that you do all the homework and it will help you for the tests. She is very understanding if you have conflicts or problems.
Her teaching skills are terrible. She rambles for the entire period, and frequently gets off topic. The lectures really don't help.
Loved her... do the homework it is worth one test grade!... She just reads off the powerpoints during class but if you study those and do the homework you should be fine..the first 3 test are MCQs and working problems and the final is all MCQs from the past test&new material.. I had to repeat stats and she was an angel compared the other teacher!
PowerPt notes-long and goes thru fast. Then she breaks down test to just a few things, so hard to know exactly what will be on test. Do the HW!It will help your grade greatly.Final exam was made up of old test ?s and if higher than test will replace it.Gives a half grade worth of extra cred- all helped me get a B when I had C's on test. Take her
Wonderful Professor, extremely kind and understanding when I was going through tough times. Really cares about her students. A must take!!
Take if you can!!! Very helpfull!!Do the HW and you will do well on the tests. Gives lots of EC. Very Enthusiastic! Truly wants students to do well and understand the material! If you have any problems go talk to her!! She goes above and beyond to work with you!!
Her class has gotten harder but she does her best to make sure everyone gets a good grade. She gives a lot of participation points and lots of extra credit opportunities. I made C's on all of the tests including the final and got an A in the class thanks to all of the points she gives!
Take her if at all possible!!! She is the greatest when it comes to Stats. She wants to help. She gives lots of extra credit and opportunities to do well. Even though there is alot of busy work, it helps when it comes to the tests. Do all the assigned work and EC. She usually lets you keep the events but give full credit for them. It adds up!
She is crazy! She kept playing this youtube video of cats during our tests! But she does offer lots of EC and homework points, which boosted my grade a lot. She goes through the slides super fast and won't work additional problems in class that aren't on the slides. You'll leave class more confused than when you came.
SHE IS THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. i am not exaggerating. i went to class everyday, but didnt learn anything from her. i taught myself everything. you will leave class more confused than when you came. she makes absolutely no sense and cannot give you any explanations that make sense.
The class itself was a fairly easy A for me. There are 50 bonus points offered and 20% of your grade comes from homework. However, as a teacher, this woman is just kinda weird. She knows her stuff, but gets way ahead in class to the point where you are going over material for the test 2 when test 1 is still a week and a half away.
Dr. Svantek is a great professor. She really knows her stats. She gives tons of extra credit and trys her best to help you understand the material. I highly recommend her.Take her if at all possible. Don't hesitate to ask for clarity on any aspect of the material. She really is helpful.
Terrible teacher. She's a really weird person, and that's how she teaches. She's smart, but like nerdy smart with no social skills growing up whatsoever, so she can't communicate worth a sh*t. The class (STAT2610) is very difficult, and neither her nor the book (costs 150) help. For a math class, tests are filled with conceptual questions. Ugh
A ton of homework. Expects you to know excel as well as she does. Test weren't too bad. Extra Credit offered and bonus points on tests for recognized typos. In the end, the class sucks and avoid it at all possible. She demands way too much time for the class.Got A's and B's, but the class is headache and was my least favorite class this semester.
To everyone who has complained about the difficulty of this teacher, she gives the opportunity to replace your lowest test grade with your final grade. There are probably half a letter grade worth of extra credit points available as well. If you did poorly in this class, you are basically a lazy and incompetent individual.
STATs is completely boring! BUT, Syvantek knows this, and helps you as much as possible. She gives extra credit, helps you will ALL your homework, and replaces your lowest grade with the Final if it's higher. I ended up with a C, but only because I didn't do all the homework. I would have ended up with a B if I had. Buy the book, do the homework.
She hardly teaches the material, so be prepared to teach yourself most material for the tests. Course Compass homework was helpful. Careful on her case studies, she doesn't give you any directions as to what she actually wants you to do for them. Try and get all the bonus opportunities and go to class to get attendance points.
She is a complete spazz, honestly. She assigned so much busy work she now has stacks of ungraded assignments and tons of unhappy students heading into the final bc noone knows their grade. It's not hard to get a good grade because she gives a lot of bonus but the tests are tricky and her lectures are useless. You I'll be teaching yourself everythin
She struggles at times to keep up with all of the work she assigns. She doesn't teach much of the material so you have to read the book. She gives a lot of bonus though so you can make a good grade despite the tough tests.
Nice lady, not very good teacher. You won't learn anything in class. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. You should be able to get a B
She assigns a lot of work, but she knows her stuff. Work from the book, online, readings, and extra knowledge she gives you will all be on the test. The final is easy but you never know what to expect for the other exams. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT AND GO TO CLASS!!
Absolutely useless as a teacher. Assigns so much busy work but doesnt keep up with it. Case study due but no data file to do it. Homework assigned online but never given a due date. When you ask for help she literally says no you have to figure it out because thats the real world. Most useless teacher i have ever come across.
Assigns so much busy work and takes forever to get back with you for your grades. The cases make no sense, are difficult, and have little instructions. Many opportunities for extra credit both from the tests and general articles. The final exam is easy, she combines all the previous tests to make the final.
My group and I are going back through old tests for the final and a lot of our old test have been marked wrong even though we have the correct answer. DO NOT TAKE THIS LADY! If you do, go back through your test and rebuttal every single answer. Even then, its still at her discretion on what we make on the final since we cannotgobackandcheckherwork
Worst teacher at Auburn. Seriously.
Worst teacher. Drop class immediately. I pulled off an A because I learned everything on my own outside of class using the text and online material(which has nifty videos that help alot). Do not think that she will actually teach you stuff. She won't. Don't expect an A unless you know you can teach yourself EVERYTHING. Worth the $100 drop fee.
This wasn't my favorite but the class is doable. She is disorganized and likes to yell at the class. She gives you the case studies last minute usually. However, if you treat her with respect, she will help you out! Go to office hours. The tests are hard but if you do everything else to the best of your ability, you should be fine.
Terrible at explaining things clearly to a large number of people. Case studies have practically no directions on what to do. However, it's very easy to get a B as long as you go to class and do all the online homework and bonuses. If you miss something go to her office hours, she is very helpful outside of class. I would definitely take her again.
You don't really have much of an option to take her, but she is literally the worst teacher at Auburn. Nothing she says makes any sense at all, she rambles and shouts. You'll actually have to teach yourself.
I honestly do not know how she got the job. She will hand you a worksheet and won't tell you how to solve the problems. Once you get behind there is no hope of catching up. Nothing comes with clear instructions, and the cases take hours to figure out how to start. I am a 3.0 student and cannot fathom how she is still employed.
Worst teacher at Auburn. Finished this class still not knowing what the class was about and I made a B. My only advice, other than avoiding this professor, is to stay up to date with the bonus opportunities.
Alright she's not nearly as bad as everyone is making her out to be. GO TO EVERY CLASS. You will gain so many points just for showing up (about 100) for in class activities. Read the textbook, go to class, do all the bonus. As long as your not lazy you will do well in this class and Svyantek is a really nice person and super approachable.
The worst teacher I've had at Auburn. Her tests are nothing like she says they are going to be and "worksheet days" are completely pointless bc she never explains how to do the problems. Expect to learn nothing from going to class. I memorized all the powerpoints and did decently well on the tests. Bonus points are crucial so do the EC.
She's the worst teacher I've had at Auburn. Has no business teaching anything let alone business analytics which is difficult by nature to a lot of students. She has so much extra credit that everyone ends up doing better than expected. I made an A but stressed the whole semester. Only made an A by 20 pts on a scale of about 1800 points. Do ALL EC
Do the extra credit. Very tough class. She is not very good at explaining it. Do whatever you can to not take her.
She is horrible at explaining things. All she does is read straight from the powerpoints, which she doesn't even prepare herself. READ THE POWERPOINTS. Do ALL of the extra credit. It's easy and it will save your grade. This class is frustrating, but doable. She's better one-on-one than she is in-class. But taking someone else is best all around.
She can be unclear on the material but her tests are structured from problems from the back of the book. She has a lot of bonus to help your grade. She cares for your well being and your grade.
As long as you participate, show up, and turn in all of your quizzes, you will pass this class. Yes, it is hard. It is a hard subject. But, if you try, she will help you succeed. If you are lazy, you are screwed.
This class was rough, she is very analytical. Grades are earned in this class.
Assignments are given with almost no instruction, a lot of busy work, very little help given by professor, overall find a different BUAL at Auburn
She doesn't teach clearly by any means. She's fine one on one, if you have questions go to her office. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT and HW. It will save your grade!!! I mean it! Her grading is out of 1000 points and the Extra Credit and HomeworkMastering add up to a whole test grade. Good Luck, you'll need it.
Craziest teacher in the HCOB. She merely lacks the physical skills to lecture a tough subject. Pros: Extra credit will save your grade and is easy. Same with homework Cons: the whole class is a con essentially
RUN! If there is any other teacher you can take change classes NOW! I still have no idea what happened in that class. Your not going to learn anything, and the only chance you have at an A is if you've taken Stat before or go to her office hour consistently. If you don't go to her office hours you'll have no clue how to do any of her assignments.
She can't lecture without her power points and talks for hours about irrelevant stuff. She'll assign a ton of work at the beginning, and then add way more through the semester. The PEARSOn power points cover a lot (but her exams cover just a tiny portion - you just don't know which portion). She's also condescending and rude if you ask a question
Get ready to teach yourself. She is actually a nice lady, but simply a terrible teacher. Her lectures are all over the place and very difficult to follow. She doesn't explain concepts well, or at all really. However, the subject matter itself isn't that hard, which is good because you will have to teach yourself. B is manageable, but USE THE BOOK
Svyantek is a bit scatterbrained, but overall she is a really sweet woman. She knows Business Analytics, but isn't very good at conveying the subject to her students. She gets frustrated sometimes and seems to confuse herself, but she tries to help. Definitely not the worst professor I have ever had. I would take her again if necessary.
Terrible teacher, walks around the classroom with ski poles.
She is very passionate and has a lot of knowledge on the subject but isn't a good teacher and can be condescending when you ask questions. Ive gone to her office hours multiple times and she can be rude but does try to help you. I would take another teacher if you have the option but its not impossible to make an A with EC and homework.
Deep down a nice lady, not a very good teacher, rude when you ask a question, skis around the classroom
not clear in her lectures or explanations just reviews the power points and expects you to know everything.
Do the extra credit. Check Canvas and My lab and mastering daily.
I honestly think she is brilliant, but she is not a very good proffesor. I feel like this class could be very easy and even fun to have... The way she teaches is makes it terrible. This is a 3 hour class, but plan on her acting like it is a 4-6 hour class. DO NOT get behind.
not good at explaining things at all. made a class that should be easy, very confusing. also do not email her bc if you put the wrong subject line or ask a question that is answered in the syllabus shell take pts off your grade. i never asked ?s. but if you do all the extra credit and keep up with the assignments you can end with at least a B
Not the best professor I've ever had, but not as bad as many make her out to be. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT, it's very easy and ultimately adds 5% to your final grade. She's not very good at explaining material, but as long as you back and review the PowerPoints (all posted online) you'll be fine. Her class requires some effort but it's not terrible.
Mrs. Svyantek is extremely intellectual which is a good thing, but also I think is the reason she has difficulty explaining the material. Her class is more difficult than the other professor's BUT if you're interested in analytics and want to actually learn something, take her. Don't get behind in MyLab hw, go to class, read powerpoints/ old tests.
She is probably one of the most strange woman in Auburn, but her class was enjoyable. Lots of busy work and projects, but in the end those make it so much easier to get a high grade.
She is THE WORST at explaining the material and explaining what to do on assignments. She makes things that should be simple incredibly confusing and over complicated. She takes off points if you email her and do not include your class section or if your question in answered in the syllabus, making you not want to ask questions.
Assigns a LOT of busy work, but in the end is helpful to your grade. She gives plenty of extra credit opportunities which is very helpful. Make sure to do the homework and take advantages of test reviews.
She sucks. Terrible at explaining material. Horrible to listen to. Doesn't tend to matter how hard you study for the tests, the material is so much different on the tests than what she is teaching. She is weirdly specific about certain things and will take off points if you submit things sideways or without a specific file name. Avoid her class!!!
So much busy work it is insane and don't expect to get your grades back until the last week of the semester. Tests are really tricky but study lots and you can make it through! Also get ready to teach yourself because it is almost impossible to follow along with her in class. Take advantage of extra credit; it makes a HUGE difference
There's a lot of work to do. There's online homework for each chapter and she gives take home assignments that have to be scanned in and then submitted as a pdf. If you just go to class and pay attention and do your work, you'll be fine. She also gives a ton of extra credit. She's very nice if you just go to her office and ask for help if you need.
I have never had a class that is as unorganized (lecture and assignment) and monotonously difficult. I loved the articles that were required to read, and I love analytics. She took a class that could be challenging but enjoyable and ruined it. I would advise anyone to have enough hours to be able to drop this course if possible.
For as good a school as Auburn is , it amazes me that the college of Business has her around here. In class she gives worksheets out like candy when she goes over them she is constantly scatter brained. She gets offended if you ever question her on anything. Her canvas is more of a mess than peace in the middle east. Worst prof. I've ever had
As far as a teacher she is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. Extremely unorganized and does not know how to work Canvas appropriately. Her test are loaded with trick questions. You'll study for hours and still feel like the test is unfimiliar. Not to mention during lectures she can't even work her own examples correctly half the time.
Horrible experience. She is unnecessarily picky in her grading. So much homework, so many projects, and hard tests. Even having old tests to study does not provide much help. Case study is pointless and takes up hours and is worth a huge portion of the grade. Uses her own grading system so you won't know your grade ever. But, gives extra credit.
Not a fan. Has procedures and class policies that are designed to hurt your grade. She gives out a ton of work with little explanation
Worst teacher I've had a Auburn. The assignments are not clear and it's stressful how you don't know what grade you have until the last week of the semester. If you hear the words SKI POLES. RUN.
BUSY. WORK. Get prepared to spend a lot of time doing online homework. Study old tests. Do all of the extra credit opportunities, that will save your grade. Don't bother reading the assigned readings, they're so long that it's not worth a few questions on the test. Try to get on her good side. Attend all the test reviews, they count as a grade.
What can I say that hasn't already been said? Dr. Svyantek is a mess. She has assignments on Canvas as well as another site you have to pay for. makes you get another student's signature before you can turn in your homework, and makes a class that shouldn't be terribly hard an absolute nightmare. If you can avoid her at all, DO IT!
She gives an insane amount of homework that you're just expected to know how to do without any instructions or explanation. Takes forever to grade and doesn't put them on Canvas so your grade is a mystery until the end of the semester. Has a 20 page syllabus and you have to get everything you turn in signed and scanned online. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!
She has a lot of bad reviews but if you do the extra credit/homework and put minimal effort into studying for the tests this class is an easy A. I'd rather suffer through the annoying homework assignments and get an A then take a harder teacher and still get a B. Its not that bad
Objectively the worst professor I have had in my time at Auburn. She makes absolutely zero sense, and is not kind to those who ask questions in class. Assigns a mountain of homework and expects every student to scan and upload it all for a grade. So bad that it is comical. AVOID.
If you can avoid this teacher then do! Nothing she said made sense. This whole class was a blur of not knowing what to do. She does not clearly explain anything.
A little absent-minded, but very nice and a solid choice. She explains the material well and goes over the study guide before the test. She gives SO MUCH EXTRA CREDIT. 50 points for turning in notes, creating questions on readings. Easy stuff. She has a lot of homework, but they're small, helpful assignments. Use her organizer notes. Would retake.
Lots of hw, most are small, but one is an analysis of your test and will take a while. She gave plenty of time. Readings were 1 pg. At least one class before hw is due, she asks if you have questions. She will explain, JUST ASK. Uploading hw to canvas isn't hard. She stops requiring people to sign your homework halfway into the semester.
Genuinely a sweet & caring teacher but the class is so disorganized. Very confusing and constant homework assignments that you have to scan and turn in as a pdf which isn't that big of a deal but is an added pain. If she's your only option you'll be fine but other teachers are much easier.
She is by far the worst professor I've had here at Auburn University. She can in no way, shape or form present the material in an orderly or realistic way. She gets angry when questions are asked. The investment students pay to attend this fine institution should make the university partake in a linear regression on her own performance.
She is very unorganized and does not know how to structure a class whatsoever, but to be honest I would still take her if I was you. You won't understand what is happening but as long as you even attempt all the homework assignments the grade will add up to at least a B and the point system she goes by makes the final useless.
Such a violently unorganized course, and you will glean nothing from sitting in class listening to her incoherent ramblings. However, if you do every single extra credit assignment and get a decent grade on the final, a B is very possible. You just won't have learned anything whatsoever.
The amount of work you are given in this class is insane especially when you aren't even taught how to do it so you're just sitting there confused. Lectures are useless and the grading is so slow because of the amount of work you're given, you won't know what you have in the class until the end of the semester. SAVE YOUR GRADE,DO THE EXTRA CREDIT.
Do all of her extra credit and study old tests. This class is very easy to make an A in. You just have to put in a lot of work doing the assignments. She cares so much that her lectures do not relate to students. She does not round but she gives you plenty of opportunities to make an A. Also go to class even though the lectures do not help.
She is not organized and slow with grading but passionate about what she is teaching. She is very smart and if you go to her office hours she is helpful and willing to explain problems. Do all of the extra credit because it will help your grade in the end because it is very difficult to know what grade you have in the class during the semester.
READ THE TEXTBOOK (really helps). I got B's and above on the exams and she gives TONS of extra credit. for the online lab quizzes, you can keep clicking "similar question" until you get 100% - a lot of people don't take advantage of this. those quizzes do take forever, though. do all the work, it's not so bad. I got over a 100 by doing all of this.
She does not know HOW to teach. Her tests come from lecture, homework, and the book. She literally will take a sentence from the book thats not relevant to anything and ask you questions on it. So make sure you READ EVERY WORD. Going to class is not mandatory but you will miss a lot of things she hands out if you don't go.
Professor Svyantek has an incredible ability to speak to you as if you have roughly 2 brain cells. She comes across as very rude when answering questions was very demeaning throughout the semester. She understands the subject and does a pretty good job teaching it, but don't expect to like her
This professor does not know how to use canvas, if you would like to be aware of your grade before the end of finals week, i would recommend doing everything in your power to avoid this woman!!
This class was insane. There are so many busy work assignments but they are so pointless and hard, but if you dont do every single one your grade will bomb. Also she doesnt use the normal % grade scale but a points scale, and you dont know how many points you have. Its insane. And studying for tests is ridiculous. She does give back the exams
very nice woman, just not a stellar teacher. you never know your grade, and wont until after finals, so good luck predicting what you need. on many of the assignments, you are left on your own to figure out how to do them. a terrible class but still passable, en embarrassment to auburn and the college of business since its a required class.
If it tells you anything, Professor Svyantek is currently a fellow classmate in my Business Analytics 2 class. Avoid taking her course if you want to learn Business Analytics.
Just don't
Easily tied with Rotfeld as the lowest regarded teacher in the college of business. She's a nice enough person, but is incapable of communicating material and regularly makes mistakes during problems in class. She's infamously seen as someone that you do not take for any reason at Auburn. Ask around, no one has anything good to say about her.
so hard to take her class!! so many tiny homework require your EXCEL skills. so bad grammar confuses you in the exam. she will not explain those her "self-created word". although she is nice professor. do not choose her, choose another professor if you want to pass BUAL 2600
She gives a ton of extra credit but can't teach anything. Going to have to teach yourself pretty much everything. Tests are not a huge percentage of overall grade but they are confusing and you don't know what is going to be on them.
DO NOT. If your only options are to take this class with svyantek or to not take it at all this semester. do not take it. She is the worst teacher I have ever had and i haven't had the best teachers here at auburn. she is the most unorganized person on this planet. I would do anything to get out of this class
DO NOT TAKE HER! She is the WORST teacher I have ever had. She spends the first 15 minutes of class doing stuff she should have done in her office. If her ask her to explain something expect an attitude or her to laugh at you. Then she will precede to "explain" it but doesn't know what she's doing herself so she can't teach you. TERRIBLE!
I've been thinking of what I wanted to say but lets start with this: when I was filling this out it asked for my grade and I'm preparing for my final right now and literally don't know what my grade is going in to the final. Beyond being a horrible and unorganized teacher, if you ask her a question she mocks it. Disastrous teacher, worse person.
She is a terrible teacher. She will make you look like a fool in front of the entire class if you ask a question. You won't know what your actual grade in the class is because she is so slow to update canvas. Her lectures are disorganized and will only leave you confused. Good luck if you end up taking her class.
She's is a nice enough person, but she needs to quit teaching. Her lectures are disorganized and impossible to follow. She's scatter-brained and doesn't update Canvas so I don't know my grade and my final exam is in 4 hours. Her "Final Review" that she posted on Canvas for us was just a picture of the table of contents of the textbook. -3/10. Sucks
If you want to learn something, don't take her class.
many people think she is bad and I want to give her a fair common. Her class is not quite intersted people and lots of extra assignment requiring the EXCEL-skills. The exam is easy coming from her lecture. Go to her class and taking note, you will get a good grade
I have no words. All I can say is wow. I got a high A in the class, however, I am good at teaching myself. If you can't teach yourself, then I would stay away. She can't do as little as form a coherent sentence, let alone teach. I was very confused the whole semester about what she expected from us students. I will say she's smart and means well.
Here is the thing: lovely woman, kind heart, and great personality. When it comes to class, there is no clear lecture. The whole class consists of circling around numerous topics in a very disorganized fashion. If you want to learn and not teach yourself, do not take this class. This class was impossible to follow and taught nothing. Do NOT take.
She really does care about her students. However, she is very scatterbrained. Her assignments do not correlate and she very rarely covers everything in class that will be on her tests. Make sure to set aside lots of time for her homework assignments on Pearon. They take FOREVER. Overall, if you do the extra credit and try your best you will be okay
Tests are impossible. My test scores were soooo low, but the group project and my homework grade at the end raised my grade up to a high A. You never know your real grade in that class until the semester is over.
I've heard terrible things about Svyantek, so from day 1 I walked on eggshells in her class and had a 72 several weeks in. However with COVID causing classes to go online, she sympathized with us a lot more, had open book exams (with a week to do them) and was very generous with extra credit. It's unfortunate this was her last semester at Auburn.
