On line summer class. Extremely hard class. Fey was often snappish to many students and very rude with her comments. I will say this though - she really seems to know her stuff and you will learn a lot! Workload is harsh!

I would not recommend this professor. She does not seem to know the material. Before every lab class there is another professor in the classroom teaching her how to do the labs. That is discouraging to other students. She seems to get upset if you ask her questions in the lab, and she talks about material in the lecture that's not on the exams.

easy class. basic common sense used not hard. she just doesn't help at ALL. 2nd day my group asked for help she came over and she looked at what we asked her and she said "the book tells you how to do it" of course it does but we didn't understand. and she just walked away. Great Job!

She is very unfair with grading, her assignments are impossible to complete and she has a very strict time lot for each assignment, even though they are very hard to do. Messes up grading in the grade book frequently. Not good at grading and putting the right grade in.

She was incredibly unhelpful, she grades inaccurately, everything is her opinion and subjective so even if its right you could get it wrong. She is unhelpful and unsupportive. She really doesn't care about her students. Her online class pages are cluttered, and the amount of work is ridiculous. If you are looking for an easy A, go somewhere else.

Do not take ASTR 1030 with her. First day of class and already dropped the course.

The class is easy as long as you passed 3rd grade math. She teaches the entire class like we're 10 years old, stupid strict rules, marked down if you're late but normally late herself, unrealistic real world examples, demands you watch videos instead of face to face conversation, no note taking during exam prep, very unpleasent

She expects you to teach yourself. Unless you don't have a physics background do not take it with her. In fact even if you have a physics background don't take it with her. She assigns over 15 probs a night after a lecture where she reads word for word from her typed up notes. When you ask a question she answers with a question. Extremely rude.

She the worst professor I have had. I have learned more from youtube videos than from her lectures. All she does is read off of Webassign powerpoints. Expect to teach yourself. Never studied so much for a single class in my life and got nothing out of it. Buy the text book by serway and jewett, that will be your teacher for the entire course! RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN !!!

Worst prof I've had in all my years of college. Many regrets taking it at macomb. Take it at a university!!

Lectured the class on the first day about demanding our education from our teacher and she didnt even cover all the material for the course. She didnt teach me a single thing learned everything on my own.

As a physics major and as someone who enjoys the subject as a whole. I can say professor fey does not teach the material all that well. I started off the semester by creating a discord group chat and adding all my peers. Sadly this wasnt enough.

This is my first time writing something like this because I wish I had read an accurate review. I strongly do not recommend taking this professor. She's very unprofessional and blatantly rude. Every students in the class did not believe they would receive a passing grade at the end of the semester. Expects you to study 36 hours a week. POP Quizes

Her lectures aren't the best which really doesn't help with this hard class. starts solving problems in class without making it clear what the question even is. Her tests were related to the topic but not to the HW problems, there is no reviews. I am majoring in EE and this was not a good first experience with electricity thanks to her.

Professor Fey teaches like we are kids. She does not let her students take notes in class as it seems to annoy her. She marks down students who are a couple minutes late, but she is usually late every section. She is rude to students who struggle or ask her simple questions. she definetly needs to change her attitude.

The first few days (4) I couldn't buy the book (due to having to pay out of pocket for classes and materials), and when I asked how I could do the two assignments that were on the online book she told me I was out of luck. She would not let me do the assignments, even though I would buy the book in 3 days when I got paid. Rude and difficult person.

Wordt professor for Physics ever! By the end of semester I had a C+, and because ofher stupid labs that are weighted more than exam, my grade dropped to C-. It went down 6% because of her awful grading system! (79.9%) --> (73.8%) I even told her if it's possible to round it to C or 74%, she said "Follow syllabus" and that was it! Just HORRIBLE RAT!

The thing about this prof was that she has no sympathy at all. Shows up late to class every time and then yells at students who are late. She lectures for more than half the class time and then says we should finish the lab within an hour. She was really rude, cocky, and had a bad attitude also. Worst science teacher ever!!

She was so rude, she does not respect you if you have extra time. Constaly thinks studetns are cheating, Does not grade HW does not let yo finsh your lab at home and gets mad when you do it wrong. Is rude when you ask questions. She has assigned seating which she changes every week also she gives pop quizzes and was upset she could not give me any.

What a nightmare. She teaches with a chip on her shoulder and can be outright hostile. I took her remote in September '21, all exams were online and you were graded entirely on the final answer, not work. My highest exam grade was 43%. You're better off taking Physics at another school entirely if she is the only faculty available.

This instructor is absolutely unlikable. Her lectures are so boring and she will not help you no matter how bad you are doing. She laughs a lot in class and talks down to students. She is not very clear on how problems are solved and loves to argue with you. I would highly recommend you take a different professor.

To her, you're not a student to be taught, but a cheater to be caught. She'll put all the effort in the world in to making sure you lose every point you could possibly lose. And all the bad grades will never be her fault, in her eyes. Every single mistake made by a student will be met with the remark of "I can see why people are failing".

Be prepared to be accused of cheating and using separate devices during exams 'because you can hear it' if you live in an apartment with loud neighbors. She will look for any excuse she can find to mark points off of your homework, labs, and exams, and then claim the class as a whole needs to do better when the mean and median grades are below par.

Easily the worst experience I've had with a science professor at this college and I've taken 10 other science classes. Didn't recieve any professor grades or feedback until 7 weeks into the class. Spent several labs talking for 60+ minutes and not allowing students to begin the lab until she was finished, so most couldn't finish the lab on time.

She's generally the only Prof who teaches 2230PHYS. But she was horred.I took both 2220 and 2230 with Prof Fey remotely, meaning I had to do labs at home with kits. And when it comes to exams anything goes. She says that if you watch the videos you're fine, not true. There will always be Qs on exams that come from nowhere.Good luck if you have her.

You can teach yourself everything you need to pass this class, but you will be in a constant battle with Prof Fey the whole time. I'm not sure if she knows exactly what she is teaching, but she will do her best to knock you down for not knowing the information.

By the last test of the class, only one person was passing. The format Macomb chose for Analytical Physics is terrible, but Fey made no effort to improve it. The resources given are disorganised, and Fey often gave me the impression that she is only here for the paycheck. If physics is core to your degree, DO NOT take it at Macomb with Fey!!!

Currently 3 weeks into the class and I've personally learned more by teaching myself than being in person. This class is 90% self taught, being belittled when asking questions/ not knowing something, listening to her laugh about absolutely nothing, she will be late and then accuse you of being late, arguing with students, and having an attitude.

Worst professor ive taken at macomb. So condescending and honestly this class will just be her belittling you and wasting your time then she will claim you didnt put in the work.
