Got an 'A'. Likes to tell life stories. Overall- an interesting class.

Easy class, interesting but the material is a little dry...

Still trying to figure out how this class was easy but it is still interesting. Take this class only if you can afford to work.

Class is very easy, its boring towards the begininng of the semester but it picks up. Dr. Zettler is very nice and will do anything to help you. If you go to class you won't get under a B.

He keeps you entertained, you don't need to buy the book, just the note shells and class notes will get you by. Cake class!

My easiest A ever! He gives so much extra credit and I never had to study for exams until the day of. If you come to class everyday you will do great. Don't worry about buying a textbook b/c there is a review before each exam and that gives all the information you need to know.

He was a really nice and funny guy. He really wants everyone to get an easy "A." Take him.

DR. Z is great! If there's anything you just don't get, e-mail him and he clarifies it right away. He really wants you to learn.

he is so nice and really makes the class interesting. He starts with a movie and ties it in to what you are talking about that day. He really enjoys teaching and that shows through in the class.

I'm pretty sure he said he's retired but still teaches Plants, Plagues, and People over summers. The class should probably be called "History of the World". Definetly easier than any high school "A". I got low B's on every test without studying or reading anything, and with his extra credit, still pulled off a high A.

Ok, on the Real this Guy is Amazing. He is so fair and if you read and watch the movies his tests become so Easy!!! He knows a lot of Info. and he's very Funny. He is by far one of the Best if not the Best Teacher that I know of.

Looks like Rodney Dangerfield alot...hilarity of this guy is off the wall.

He uses his mutation as a joke in class and also to help pass the message of the day. He is ADORABLE, and very helpfull.

He is a very cool guy and you never have to study. He also gives a great extra credit opportunity. Take his PLP2000 course...it's such a breeze!

what an amazing man. i loved his class, just one of the nicest men you will ever find. he is very fair and his class is not only easy but very interesting, you can learn quite a bit. very fun extra credit assignment too loved his class.

SUCH a nice guy. The tests are not incredibly easy, but it is VERY possible to get an A in this class. He grades on attendance and you get a very easy extra credit assignment. He's a great man also, he really cares about his students.

One of the best professor I ever had. I am not a science person, and I had a hard time to follow the class. I went to talk to him about it, and he has been hekping me. He can make the class very interesting with his lecture and films. The only problem is that it is sometimes hard to hear what he says through the microphone. GREAT PROFESSOR!

He gives you a point for everyday you're in class, so you gotta go to class everyday. But you can just sleep, b/c there's really no point to pay attention in class, b/c a day or two before the test, the TA has a thorough review that is basically the test. So sleep for 4 weeks, then the one day before the test, study the study guide, and ace the tes

Tests pretty straightfoward, 15 extra credit points available plus 1 pt for every day you come to class, holds an extensive review before each exam, all the answers are in the course notes. Best Gen-Ed science to take, very helpful TA's, very *clear* professor

The class is very easy but boring. Don't expect to be interseted in anything that he says. Do the 15 extra credit points and show up to class because the points add up! There is no need to pay attention in class as long as you go to the reviews.

After reading the comments for dr. zettler, i must say that i agree with them 100%. Come to class as often as u can, and definitely do the extra credit 15 pts. I got a low B on each exam but after getting the 15 pts on the museum quiz, i got an A in the class.

Dr. Zettler is wonderful. He is not out to trick anyone and when I took the class during summer B he gave 20 points extra credit for a museum quiz. By the last test all I needed was 16/50 on the last test. I found the material interesting and the TA gave very good reviews before the tests.

The subject is a little dull but he is a great teacher. His class/tests is straight forward. 4 Tests (you get to drop 1) Extra Credit boosts the grade alot. Attandance is a must. Make sure you go to the reviews and use his study guides. He is helpful and interesting. Got an A with minimal effort. This class is more like a history class, which is good for non-science people.

This guy is adorable! I love it when he made himself laugh from his own jokes. Some of the material isn't the most interesting, but the class is easy, as well as the tests. It's very easy to get an A in the class!

This man is adoreable. He laughs at his own jokes and he is not out to get anyone. He wants you to make a "A". ATTENDANCE is a must. The extra credit could be your lifesaver and it is very easy. I took this class over summer and got an A with very little effort. On the last test all I needed was 14/50 to keep my A. TAKE THIS CLASS.

Amazing class! I loved it! He's funny and very helpful and his tests are very easy as long as you study the notes and do the review questions from each chapter. Go to class for easy points and do the extra credit! Got an A with barely any effort!

Wonderful Professor

Just go to the review sessions for the tests and you'll do fine. Even though a 94 is an A, it's super easy to get, especially if you do the extra credit. Has a tendency to jump around in lectures, but that's only for less important stuff. He will constantly repeat the stuff that's on the tests. The only thing that sucks is that you HAVE to go class

AWESOME PROFESSOR! He is funny and passionate about what he teaches. You have to go to class because you get a point each day, but he lets you go to either period. Very helpful and nice! Take it if you want an easy A!

Professor Zettler is ADORABLE and his lectures are interesting. he's pretty much the greatest. if you hate science and you have to take a gen. ed. biology you should definitely take zettler. if you don't like him then you are surely going to hell.

awesome teacher, this is more of a history of the world class than anything, he is funny in his own odd way but it keeps everything interesting. Just go to class, half pay attention, watch the movies, read the smoking notes and the study guide and you'll get an A. especially with the 15 point extra credit museum quiz.

He truly loves teaching the class & tries to make it interesting. Follow the study guides in the back of the Student Guide. Text book he offers for you to buy isn't really needed b/c answers you aren't sure of are given to you the day before the exams. Go to class b/c you get 2 pts everyday and may drop an exam grade with attendance points.

Simply the best!!!!!Really understanding and flexable if something comes up. He really makes the class as interesting as possible- would take the class again if I could!!

This is a very easy class and professor. Attendance is not mandatory, but there are daily quizzes (answers given) that will total a test grade, so if you go every day you don't have to take a test (4th test mandatory). Text is also optional - I just bought the supplement and got a 104% w/o studying. Great guy, too.

Dr.Zettler is an amazing professor. He has a great sense of humor and is always willing to help when needed. Class is not hard. Definitely worth taking.

Great, easy, interesting class. zettler is fun and the work is actually interesting, so i advise taking.

AMAZING TEACHER!!! he cares a lot and is very very nice, he will work with you if you have any issues instead of just failing you. He hates rude people though. Dont talk during the lecture. Very easy A

Dr. Zettler is one of the sweetest men in the world! Go to all of his classes and use the daily quiz grades for an exam.. it helps! Smoking Notes are very helpful as well. To get an A on the exams, you have to study a little...

Perfect attendance + light studying + Museum EC= EASY A. The class is catered towards non-science majors and Professor Zettler does his best to spark an interest. He's a great guy and will readily go out of his way to help his students. The A is yours if you go to class.

Zettler is a hilarious professor. He often goes off on tangents, but his stories are hilarious. Take the class just to hear him make fun of himself. Easy A, never studied, never bought either supplement and got 199/200 for semester

PLP 2000 is an incredibly easy class! Zettler is sometimes hard to understand however he is a great professor and is always will to help out struggling students.

This class was incredibly easy. I found the material interesting but Zettler can be horribly boring. Going to class is a good idea though because you get guaranteed points from the daily quizzes. Plus, he's a really nice guy.

This class is horribly boring, if you are going to take it make sure you are taking it with friends. It is an easy A but you still need to study and memorize for the tests. He doesn't really teach you, he just tells a lot of boring stories, so just memorize smokin notes and you should get an A. But this class is extremely boring.

Francis is adorable. He is obviously fascinated by what he teaches, which makes the class a tiny bit less boring but its still painful to go to class. He is a really sweet guy though and as long as you keep up with the study guide questions you are guaranteed an A in this class. Plus hes just really really cute:)

This class is an easy A if you just attend class. I came to class watch movies on my laptop and never studied, got an A. He is a really great guy and has this class to show you an overview of biology. great for easy gen ed credit

This prof and class rocks! Very Very interesting material and an easy AI if you do the extra credit assignment(which is just a short trip to the museum. If you need a bio or humanities credit, this is the class to take!

Professor Zettler is very nice and funny. His lectures are interesting and his time management is excellent. Also, the tests for the class are very easy. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who needed an easy Biology class.

Thanx to him im going to major in plant pathology. N i got 172 our of 160 total in the class. So its significantly easy. Take this class!!

Show up to class, do a bit of studying before the tests and it shouldnt be too hard to do well. He is a nice old man, and some of the stuff is even interesting. Just dont sit in the back talking every class or he will call you out on it!

Would definitely recommend this class! Was not difficult at all, as long as you put a little effort into studying for the tests. Do not buy the book! Save your money and just get the smokin' notes. Hardest part was showing up to class everyday, but do! You can drop your lowest test grade and replace it with 100% if you do.

This class was super easy. If you attend every class he drops the lowest test grade. The professor is really nice and he adds humor to his lectures. He doesn't just talk the whole period. He brings in so many visuals everyday to keep the class entertained. Plus, you get to watch film everyday to reinforce the lecture material. I recommend it!

He is HILARIOUS. And he'll let you know what's going to be on the exam by saying in his lectures, "This will be on the exam, write this down." He's very interesting and knows what he is talking about. He is interested in each individual and will respond to each need promptly.I'm going to miss him.

Easy Class. Dont buy text book, only use student guide. Drops Lowest of first 3 tests and fourth counted no matter what. The dropped test is replaced by attendance grade (2 pts per class). Extra credit boosts grade overall 8%. Can easily get B+ or A if go over material. Makes the lectures interesting, funny, and sometimes provocative. He's my fav p

The teacher was great but I don't care for science and the lectures were a little dry. If you just pay attention you will do well. Don't buy the book...you will NEVER use it. All you need is the study guide. The questions in the back are helpful for prep for test. It was an easy A for me and without much effort. i.e. No 4hour studying a day.

I took the online version of this course which really wasnt online except u get to pick when u want to take ur exams. The lecture watching on DVDs was a pain..and so was the mid-term. Unless u r really interested in plants, u wouldn't like this course as much. But it is a convenient course. The cumulative final was alright but the lab exam was easy

Very nice guy, very easy class. Cannot see anyone getting less than an A. Can be slightly hard to understand with his accent at times.
