I took an honors class, so it may have been harder... He has a heavy + cute French accent, but pretty easy to understand. Tests r not hard but not easy. Does not grade hard on papers. Good class to take.

He is a very good teacher. Pretty fair, east tests, and he will drop the lowest score including the final exam. Study for his class you will do fine. Group project is fun, depending on which group u r in. Fun class.

This is an easy class, The grading is fair... he gives a mixture of take home and in class exams. The assignments are easy. I would highly recommend this class. Wish he taught a upper division MKT class.

This is semi-mickey mouse class. The tests are easy, just visit the professor regarding what he wants for the engagement letters and proposal. He will take the time for help if you will. I have about a 2.9 gpa and felt like the class wasn't a mindbender. Peace to you all....

fairly easy. drops a "mini quiz," gives a take home. get with a good group for the marketing project or you're effed. puts slides online, takes random roll for "jingle points." gotta know concepts cuz questions on tests are tricky.

Dr. Vigneron is a cool guy. The only thing uncool about him being French is that every moron likes to make fun of his accent. Overall this class was easy because I got a good group. Group work=35%. He drops 1 out of 3 tests (50 m.c.) Takes attendance at the end of semester so go for the points then. He's professional and has all p.p. lectures

The MKT plan is confusing because he doesn't give clear directions and instructions. Expects alot from you. Test are hard. READ THE CHAPTERS EXTREMELY GOOD for the exams (he puts the exact sentences from the book for the exams). Note: Make sure you have a good group.

I definitely recommend him. He makes u think outside of the box and that's why some students don't like him; he actually makes u apply your knowledge to real life scenarios. In order to get an "A" you must be in a good group, don't overlook this criteria. Tests are directly from the book, lectures are just knowledge about everyday marketing world.

The exams are strictly based on the book and on his lectures, if you were there and did your readings, then you should be getting As all semester. The project is harder depending on your group members. I really recommend him because he has a great sense of humor. His accent is not bad.

He is one of the best teachers I ever had. He is intelligent, interesting, friendly and always ready to help his students. He spent 1 1/2 hr (a few times) with me and my group to discuss issues and make everything clear. His exams are not hard but you need to study, pay very close attention to project because it is 35% of your grade. Great teacher

Truly a great professor. Always willing to help. Heavy accent but not to the point were one can't understand him... Slides are very helpful. Lets you drop a test or skip final. One large group project... If you have to change your schedule to take this prof, do youself a favor and do so. You will not regret it. Overall wonderful.

Tests are easy, straight form the book. Mostly terminology. Project was a bit difficult. Make sure you get a good group, with respnsible people!! I was stuck with five other peopel that did not help me at all, I had to do the entire thing myself. Trust me, discretion is important in finding group members.

He's a really nice guy but there's a lot of work and his lectures are kinda boring. Tests are not hard but cover a lot of material/chapters. He is always willing to talk and help you out with your marketing plan. On a lighter note, His cheeks are like a chipmunks. :o)

This professor is not only nice, he's funny and interesting. So just read the book, review his slides and one more thing GET GOOD GROUP!!!! which is key in order to succeed in this class. He's cute too!

This teacher was a joke. His accent is annoying after 5 mins he talks and talks and talks. His tests are easy but if you are like less than 1/2 a point away from another grade at the end of the semester he won't give it to you. I haven't taken any other teachers as of yet but I hated him.

On behalf of us ladies, french accents aren't too hot, but Prof. Vigneron's is an exception. His humor and effective teaching skills keep us interested, along with his cute accent. He just needs to know when to give the students breaks...

Clearly this class was not for average CSUN students, so don't complain about the mkt plan and the accent.This was not for free riders!!! I loved this class,and the prof, he is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for those who want to challenge themselves

His class was very easy, if you have an avg IQ. Yes, he has an accent, but that has no bearing to his teaching method. Mkt Plan was really fun & a learning experience. He pretty much gave all the co info. Study his slides for the tests. He's very helpful during office hrs. Interesting class, very sharp & educated prof...made me fall in love w/ mktg

His class isn't the easiest, but fun. There are 3 tests (lowest score is dropped), 1 online quiz, and the marketing plan. Make sure to pick a good group. He's also pretty HOT.

not the easiest class, but definitely a fun class. attendance isnt mandatory but he is just soo funny and adorable that you'll show up anyway. It is a time consuming class but he grades on a curve and I definitely recommend him.

This prof. is very passionate about what he teaches especially when it comes to marketing. He's very knowledgeable about the subject matter. Test is multiple choice. The challenging part is the MKTG paper. This class is not hard for students who want to learn. The key in this class is to find a committed team members in order to get a good grade.

Officially my fave prof ever and I had him back in '04. Wrote me a great letter of rec and is a wonderful guy and amazing teacher. Rally knows marketing and loves what he does. CSUN's best asset.

I had a love/hate relationship with this prof. In the end, I love him and he pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of. HARD class, but amazing teacher and well worth the hell that he puts you through...

A great marketing teacher. I learned a lot from him. The group project was not bad at all, but make sure you get a good group as I didn't! He was not very clear at times about the marketing plan, but asking questions helps you better understand what is needed. Very funny guy and extremely knowledgable about marketing. Won some awards!

Great guy. Not a great teacher but not that bad. He is really fun and his French accent is really enterntaining. Tests are hard - only 10% of the class usually gets A (out of 160). However, you really must be stupid(with all due respect) not to pass this class. He could be a little more clear about the marketing project

Very smart man & knows his stuff. He even worked for Louis Vuitton! 3tests(drops 1 test w/lowest grade). 1take home test. Group paper is worth most of your grade. USE TA's! Ask him what he exact wants. Read ch. before class or before that section of the paper is due. It really helps w/understanding the project & class. You will learn A LOT!

Great Prof, will take again if I can. Knows a lot about Mktg, more than what's in the book. Exams are tough, but easy if you take notes and read Text. If you do not have interest in Mktg, than you may not like this class. This is a serious class for serious marketers. Be super careful on who you pick for your group, project is comprehensive.

Probably the best class you could take at CSUN. The whole class was dedicated to working with a single REAL client. The work that is done in the class can be used on your resume. You will learn more here in any other class. That being said, this class is hard. It is all done in groups so pick a good group because there will be a ton of work to do.

If you are interested in Marketing you should take him, he gives real life examples, yes he talks about his cognac a lot, not because he's fool of himself but to give example related to a certain product so it does not confuse people. for his exams, if you understand his PPT in depth you are set, the challenge is to get a good group for the project

Drops the lowest test score. The project is very straightforward but you will want to meet with him to clarify that you are on the right track. He makes himself available and was always open to listen and work with you. Loved the class and definitely had a great experience!

Vigneron is an established marketing professor with real experience! You'll want to take this class if you're interested in learning the realities of the marketing and distribution world. You even get to do a marketing analysis for a real business in need of help. Tests are easy and boring, but the real magic is in the lectures.

He is very nice, kind , respectful and high class professor at CSUN. 3 test and 1 group project the result of his class. He cares for his students and his grading at the end of semester is fair. Also he has 5% for participiation and 4 point extra credit. He is an European gentle man that you cannot find like him in USA. Take him he is great.

LONG LIVED PROFFESSOR VIGNERON. I wish all upper division classes professors were like him. very interesting class and he makes easy marketing . I participated all his classes because he is very nice and knowledgeable professor. Take him class and you will passed very easy.

Very easy class. no homework, no any concern just 3 tests ( 1 dropped) and one group 8 pages project. He tries to help students with very easy example in marketing. Also, he is very friendly with his students, and all students respect him. Take him and you will passed .

Professor vigneron class is very interesting because I learned a lot of things in marketing. He is high class European gentleman that encourages students to prepare a good group project. Easy class, no homework just 3 exams and one group project. 5% participation and extra credit.

Add the class!! Reading is completely essential midterm and final are all based on the chapter reading, and the professor provides study guide PP to help focus on the material. You probably won't understand what the pp means unless you read. Random attendance check counts for 5%, and a group 5-6 assignment (9 pg report) worth 45%

If hes an option, TAKE HIM! Makes marketing fun and interesting, like its suppose to be. Hes easy. trust me. just read the other comments. Easy B for sure and and A if you try.

If you have an option to take marketing he is the one to take him, because he is easy and his lecture is easy to follow. He gives two exams that worth 25% each and final project that is worth is 45% of the grade and 5% participation and attendance.

Prof. Vigneron was one of my favorite professors I have had in a while. He teaches you the in's and out's of marketing. He is a hilarious man and very easy to talk to. He will help you out with the SWOT analysis and the two exams. The class gets a bit long after awhile and the SWOT is SO much work. Be prepared to work to write a hefty report.

The professor is very kind and helpful and makes the course very interesting. I found his class to be challenging because it required a lot of group work and 2 exams that covered a of material. Although some students didnt read from the book I highly recommend it because it helps on the exams and is a good read.

I found his class challenging as I felt reading the book was crucial to doing well on the tests. The paper required a lot of work and if you have members that are not carrying their weight it will be difficult. He helped think outside the box.

Great person. Night classes are a bit boring since everyone is tired but hes motivated to teach regardless the situation. Group project basically is your grade. the quizzes are normal difficulty. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT

1 midterm 25%, 1 final 25%, 1 group project 45%, attendance 5% (randomly chooses 5 weeks towards the end to give 1% each). He lets you choose your group (of 5 or 6), he curves the tests, and lets you know how he wants the group project throughout the semester (10 pages). He's more of a speaker than a teacher, but I felt the class was super easy.

He is honestly an amazing professor, he is so knowledgeable and he is definitely someone to look up to. He is by far the most successful person i know. He is sooo busy but still takes the time to help his students perform well. He answers his emails, he gives like a total of 8% extra credit and just make sure u dont pick a lazy group cuz its 45%.

One of the best professor I have ever taken for marketing class. His class isn't difficult, but make sure you end up in a good group. Group project worth's 45% of your grade, 20% one midterm, 20% final, and 15% comes from extra credit, and the website that you post your responses and you have to response two people every week as well.

Nice guy and super easy to access outside of class. Records his lectures in case you want to go back or missed a lecture. Weekly packback (another form of a discussion board), midterm, final and a big group project. Choose your group wisely bc thats 40% of your grade. Overall, hes communicates back fast and is there for his students. Easy class.

He really cares that you learn from this experience and is there for you every step of the way. He does talk a lot and can get carried away but he's very knowledgeable. The presentation is a 25-minute one and it goes by really fast. The company that we consulted for gave us free products too!

He has two exams and a group project that counts for 45% of the final grade. He seems to enjoy what he teaches! The class was way too long but I didn't necessarily study and yet I got a passing grade on my first exam. Still waiting on the second exam and graded group report. I wouldn't be happy or mad to take him again.

Does not need to be presented but take it seriously as its worth a lot of points. Knowledgeable professor but very boring class. Take him if you do not want a heavy workload.

Professor Vigneron is such a passionate and enthusiastic teacher, truly enjoying what he does and you can feel it. He has a great teaching style in which he uses real-life scenarios to explain his topics and make them understandable for students. He is accessible outside of class to meet with you and truly cares and wants the best for his students!

A group project, online participation, and 2 tests make up your grade. You make your own group so thats cool if you know people. Online participation is due weekly (very easy). Book is required.. you can probably go without it. Very straightforward and passable class. It shouldn't be hard to get a grade above a C in this class. Prof is good people.

You should but you don't have to come to class. He is a nice guy and a understanding grader. The 2 exams are online each worth 20%. Take him. He is easy.

Easy to follow lectures & was helpful throughout the semester. This course required one group project(choose groups wisely), 10 discussion posts, and 2% attendance required throughout the semester (takes attendance at random but he notified us when). Vigneron was very helpful, knowledgeable, and eager to help when questions were asked.

Prof. Vigneron is a great professor. He really cares that you do well and will take time to help you. Choose a good team if you can. The majority of your grade is based on the client presentation, so having a solid team is important. Overall, I enjoyed having him and also got to practice my French with him which was super cool!

All exams are easy, the weekly assignments are simple, and if you attend the two roll calls and do the extra credit (3%), it's an easy A. I really wish there were more professors like this. Choose good team members for group projects. There's absolutely nothing challenging, everything is clear, and I highly recommend this professor.

LOVE HIM!! Lectures aren't the best, but he's a great professor. He's really caring & genuinely knows his stuff & gives good feedback. SUPER IMPORTANT that you choose a good group because of a big project. Project takes a LOT of work, but honestly not too hard. Exams were really easy & so was the homework. I genuinely learned a lot from him.
