Professor Conic teaches a great class for slow learners. Honest, direct and always willing to give extra help. His approach may not be for those with "thin skin", but he really does care about his students progress. More professors like him are needed.

He was very helpful and understanding. I had a hard time in his class but still managed to get a be because of of his teach and reteach abilities.

Conic is a great teacher. I would definitely recommend him to anyone MAC1105 is a tough class regardless, not an "Easy A." So you need to do your work. Goes very out of the way to ensure you pass. Very lenient on homework and quiz deadlines. Allows you to catch up. Allows retakes on exams. He is also very funny and laid back.He is a good dude!

Easy A if ou do your Work

I took the Fall A class, and if you arent willing to spend time to do work then dont take this class. All work is online with mymathlab, no textbook required. It is a fast paced class that requires fast learning or a readiness to learn. Attendance is not mandatory but if you dont come you will fail. You will be called to the board a lot.

He's a good prof. He is not late, always on time. He answers all questions & looks for understanding, gets through everything on schedule and has a great personality. Always willing to help after class. Buy the book, do your work, and ask questions.

I had my own difficulties getting to class, but everyday that I attended there Mr Conic explained the lesson in a manner that was clear, concise, and truly educated. I don't feel as though any topic or concept was neglected.

Super easy class. Very easy to get an A. He is very helpful and will work with you to help you get a good grade. Every time I had a homework or quiz past due I would just ask him for more time and he would open them up for me.

Mr. Conic is definatly a good teacher. If you are not good at math, the material in general is going to be hard, be sure to go to class and go to the math lab if you need any extra help. If there are any discrepencies on any of the online tests he goes over it with you and tries to help you as much as he can. He also gives extra credit!

I feel people are upset because they were not hand walked through every problem. He will answer any question, but sometimes you must approach him directly or he won't go over it.

Mr. Conic is quite a character! Lectures are always fun and he is always quick to help us if we are confused about any given rule. Before this class, I never paid attention in high school. Not ok and my math skills were terrible. I got sick for two days before this class. I didn't eat. I was terrified. He's funny, straight-forward and spends class time going over the material until you stop asking questions. That being said, MAT1033 is hard. Take notes, show up, do the homework, profit.

Frank conic was the best college algebra teacher I've had. ( took Nash last semester and failed). Freezy is there for you and wants you to pass his class. All the homeworks prepared you for the tests and as long as you come to class, it's an easy A!

Prof. Conic is awesome! He gives unlimited tries on quizzes. Lets you re-take all 3 tests (except final) if you do poorly. He will stay after class to help you if you are struggling with something. The homework is on my math lab and the tests are pulled directly from the practice test that he gives you online before each test. He is extremely fair.

Please note that any bad review Conic has received is in broken English with terrible grammar. You're in college. Act like it, show up, and apply yourself. You can't spoon feed algebra, but Conic prepares you for EVERY test. I am awful at math (or was) and am about to receive my first A since elementary school. Take him, you won't regret it.

Mr. Conic was one of the best professors i have had. With benign prior military haven't taken a math class in over 5 years. With his clear teacher and being helpful when I had questions I managed to pass the class with an A. Do your math labs, quizzes. Test reviews and you will Osa with an A.

He is a good professor. He will help you understand a subject you may be having trouble with, and will work through a problem step by step on the board. He cracks some lame jokes sometimes, and occasionally breaks out in song, but it's entertaining. Makes going to class fun. He takes time to learn every student's name, which most professors don't.

As long as you show up, and do the work... there is no reason why you can't get an A. He is more than fair when it comes to grading. And he has a good sense of humor.

Professor Conic is a great instructor to have. You get out of his classes what you put into them. If your willing to work, he is right there with you. Even if your doing well, he keeps you on your toes and ready for anything that may be thrown at you. Would love to take more classes with him as proctor.

Prof. Conic was very informative and to the book with the workload. That does not mean that he wasn't willing to go out of his way to help a student understand a subject in which they struggled. If you complete your work in studio time you will not have a problem passing the class.

Professor Conic can be a bit vague, if you pay attention you should have no problem passing the course. He tries to inspire class participation, to keep the class from being too dull and can be pretty funny sometimes. Did not use textbook, MML comes with ETextbook. He will help if you need it in the lab. Overall, a good professor for this course

I Never like math since I was younger this teacher took every angry I had for math and absolutely wiped it away I highly recommend him as a teacher. I have never been good in math and I like many others have to take the class prior to this one. Conic is a fantastic teacher! I almost failed Algebra 2 in H.S. and when I finished his class, I finished with an A. If you give it your best you will succeed. He teaches in such a way that you will easily comprehend the material.

3 test plus final and 20 quizzes. Instructions were ok to follow. I worked ahead most of the class this allowed me to ask detailed questions to keep me from getting stuck. No book. He has a sense of humor. Finished my class with about 100 for grade before the extra credit. Got 2 100's on the tests I'd say he's a great teacher because I hated math

This is my second semester taking Frank and I think he is more than fair when it comes to grades and more than fair when it came to the final. We had 10 bonus questions, my past teachers didn't have 1 bonus on the final. i mean come on!! He def wants people to do well and score A's

Conic is a great teacher and I like how he encourages you to get help from your peers during class. Nonetheless, I already know all of the topics so attending is unnecessary for me but if you struggle with math always show up. He takes his time to teach and is super repetitive which is great for those who dont get math very well.

Mr. Conic is really funny and makes learning the class almost bearable. He really makes you work to do the problems yourself so for the tests you should be able to do everything on your calculator. Tests are kind of difficult and homework and everything is online besides lectures themselves.
