Talk about a guy who actually cared so much about his impact on students --he took to heart every response they gave him. Sadly, the communal response was often derragatory and negative. Dr. Dias was one of the best teachers I ever had. He always made time to listen to his students, and would stop what he was doing to discuss any problems I might have, class related or otherwise. Unfortunately, my classmates did not always appreciate him for the amazing man that he was. Dr. Dias, you will surely be missed. Thank you.

He was a wonderful teacher. He not only taught chemistry but also about life. He wanted his students to succeed and fulfill their dreams. Unfortunately some didn't see it that way and made life tough for him. He will truly be missed.

I had him for discussion. Really nice guy. Willing to help and gives reasonable on amount of work. It was kind of helpful to go to discussion, but I only went because it was part of my lecture grade.

I want to pay tribute to Dr. Dias. I cried when I heard the news of his death. His dedication to service was inspiring and I will always remember him preaching that we need more scientists in government. After I get my medical degree, I just may run for office. I feel sorry for the students who were too immature to get to know him.
