Frank is great. He tells you what to remember for the exam, and is very up front. He knows that none of us really want to take the class, and makes it easy for us to learn the material. He's really friendly. Study what he says to and you'll get an A. I strongly suggest him :)

This class is really easy. He knows that this class is just a requirement to graduate so he makes it easy and enjoyable. He gives you the notes in class for exactly what the tests and quizzes and there is lot's of oppertunities for extra credit.

Not only is it an easy class, but you will also learn alot. Go to all class meetings so you can highlight what he tells you to in the book and I guarantee if you study what you've highlighted than you will get an A on the tests. He also offers a lot of Extra Credit.

Boring, annoying class, that by it's very essence is simple. Fedel doesn't complicate things and you can tell he's a genuinely good guy who will go to great lengths to help you get the A. You can't go wrong with him with PEGN210.

Great instuctor! Wants you to succeed and is successful in driving concepts into your head and making you think outside the box. Come to class, read and study the material he outlines, go to study sessions he holds, and you will do well. It's not easy, it's work, but you could almost take your boards after this class(or at least think you can).

I had Frank Fedel for SPMD 201 and 202-Human Anatomy and Physiology. You really have to work hard to get a good grade, but he will do anything possible to help you out. Prof. Fedel was extremely helpful and this class was fairly easy. All I had to do was complete the assignments on time (which you can pretty much do on your free time) and take the tests. I would highly recommend this class!

I liked having this class online. He always responded promptly when i asked questions, he was fair and reasonable, assignments for our bebefit. You have to study for the exams though, read the book, and do the quizzes online!

I took PEGN210 online this semester and it was pretty easy. It was nice because the professor understands that you have other classes and it's not always easy to remember your online classes. There are only 3 things due throughout the semester, otherwise all the quizzes are due the week before the final. Pretty easy. I recommend it.

I had professor Fedel for SPMD 201 & 202 he cares about the students more then any other Prof I've had. Both of these class are very difficult but his focus is on the students. I just completed SPMD 201 & 202 with Frank Fedel. I am a second bachelors student, and I can honestly say that he was by far one of the BEST professors I've ever had! I learned more valuable information from him in one semester in these two classes than I ever did from any other professor. If you need to take 201/202, take it with Fedel!

This was an online class. PEGN 210. It was very up front. you read the chapter and take a 6 question quiz for each chapter and a final at the end of the semester. i would suggest him for any one.

This ended up being a pretty cool class. It was fun, easy, and interesting. Plus, I only had to go for a couple of days instead of every week for 16 weeks. That was excellent!

When I first went to class I thought I would just blow by SPMD 201 (Anatomy) & SPMD 202 (Physiology). The classes lasted a total of 3Hrs. Frank set up study sessions imediatly after class and provided students with extra help for 2Hrs. I have learned to UNDERSTAND not memorize this inportant info. This professor did an exceptional job with the class. You will come out of it knowing substantially more than when you went in. Fedel is an amazing teacher with a passion for what he teaches. Subject matter very difficult, but he is willing to help any student who wants it. Didn't use textbook, and the CD packet wasn't that useful. Need Lab CD for homework assignments. YOu'll work hard, but an A is possible, because Fedel really cares and his teaching style is amazing.

You will need the CD to do some assignments and I used the book A LOT, but that depends on learning style. Best Prof I've ever had, hands down.

Prior to taking the course PEGN 210, I felt that it would not be beneficial and was yet another course which the university continues to make profit from. It is not untill I met Professor Fedel and listened to what he had to say that I realized this was one of the most important classes I have ever taken at EMU. This course and professor is great.

they don;t get any better than this professor. If you have to take anatomy than you must have him. He will be there for you for every step of the way if you are equally as committed.

if you have to take physiology take this professor.... you will learn the material...not just memorize it like the rest of the world. He is the best professor I have had in the history of my college education and I am on my second degree!

Tough course but Professor Fedel is committed to helping a student succeed if the student is committed to putting in the effort. Never miss class! You'll never get out early and his tests are pretty hard. Lecture is available on video and podcast and I suggest reviewing it regularly.

Hard class. Print the notes prior to lecture, write everything he says additional down. Listen to the podcasts, watch the Panapto videos, never miss class. Prof. Fedel is committed to helping the student succeed when the student is committed to learning. Awesome professor.

Best professor I've had in my entire 4 years at EMU by a landslide. The class is VERY tough, and a LOT of material, but no one could get you through it like Fedel. He is extremely helpful, and it is clear how much he loves his job.

The class moves at a fast pace however professor Fedel does a great job in making sure the majority of the class understands the concept before moving on. He also provides a lot of material to help you.

The class is very hard however with professor Fedel you actually LEARN. You are not going to just simply memorize the material. He relates everything to a clinical aspect and it all makes much more sense. He is a GREAT professor.

This class is pretty tough but incredibly helpful. I would recommend taking SPMD 201 and 202 concurrently if you have to take both. It really should be just one class.

Best professor I have ever taken, hands down. This class lays down the basis for practically everything you'll need to learn in the nursing program, and Prof. Fedel makes sure you KNOW it. If you show interest in your grade, he will mirror that interest. TAKE THIS CLASS! You'll regret not taking it with him!!!

Frank Fedel is awesome. He puts in a lot of material. He's not easy because you DO actually need to learn, but he is so enthusiastic you really get into the material. Definitely about the best teacher I"ve had at EMU. It's a crime they haven't given this guy more to teach. (I had him for A&P and it was great)

Professor Fedel is an absolutely amazing professor. He knows his material and does absolutely everything to help you in class and out of class through supplemental study sessions and email. He gives you any resource you could ever imagine to help you learn and he is a very funny guy. Class isn't a breeze but he'll do anything to help.

f-fedel is my favorite professor at EMU. There is a lot of material but he doesn't make it seem overwhelming. He teaches you what you really need to know for your future career and is very organized. I would 100% recommend him for anyone taking Anatomy and Physiology. Take them together, it isn't too much work. One of the nicest professors :)

Frank Fedel was the best teacher I have ever had. Very smart and helpful, always very organized. Really cares about how you are doing in the class and offers extra credit for each exam! :) Take it with anatomy if you have to take them both -- it is more beneficial. Learned a lot and thought he was overall a great guy!

Best teacher I have ever had. He goes way above and beyond anything he is required to do. He is so good at explaining things so you really GET it. If you email him, you will get a response to the question and then some! He takes so much time to make sure his students get help if they need it. I wish he could teach ALL my classes!!!

Goes beyond expectations when it comes to helping students. Be sure to read over power points before tests. Do all of the extra credit you can. It will help!

Very understanding and extremely helpful. Do all extra credit possible, and try to make each class! With all the technology, the book isn't worth the money.

Do not miss class any class, do all the extra credit, review the lectures online, get into a study group. Plan on this course being your life for a semester... but it will PAY OFF in the end. I learned more from this one class than I did in my entire undergrad at EMU.

Great class! Very tough at times but overall a good class if you want to learn. The technologies were helpful and he was always available.

Professor Fedel is one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. He goes to great lengths to make sure you get everything out of class. His use of technology in his method of teaching allows you to have an opportunity to understand the material more clearly. This class moves along quickly, but if you have the desire to do well, it will be rewarding.

You will never have a professor that cares more about your success as a student. You have to earn your grade but you have absolutely no reason not to succeed, professor Fedel puts everything you need right at your fingertips.

Great teacher, know slides in and out, if you do not understand somthing from slides read the book or rewatch lecture and take notes. pay attention to diagrams, and you should be fine, he is very helpful and understanding. he is very involved with the students, which is good, never had a prof like that, hes the best
