I took his personality course over the summer and I absolutely loved it...great professor..I would take another psych course in ru-newark if he taught it!! Go to class and take notes...lecture is interesting and entertaining...

Okay, he is definitely easy but I was not as impressed with TM, TM, TL, SI, etc. etc. lalalalala...as I thought I would be. Maybe it is because I took him over the summer so it wasn't the same effect as usual--but overall, worth taking. He is a pretty funny guy who hates his mother-in-law. And I enjoy that aspect of the class. Enjoy!

There is no need for me to tell you all but this man truly is THE MAN THE MYTH THE LEGEND! Only Frank could make experimental methods and cognitive development that interesting. This mans exams will have you laughing out loud. He is what other professors should be like.

Frank is truly the man, the myth, and the legend. He's a great professor, he could be a little bit ridiculous with the amount of notes he gives, but overall he's cool. Have to be a moron to get less than a B in this man's class!!!

Frank is an EXCELLENT professor. I really enjoyed this class. He takes his time to explain his lessons and makes sure everyone gets it before he moves ahead. He makes the learning experience exciting and fun! I would advise all students to encounter the FRANK experience!!!!

This prof is great. I had him twice already and he is excellent. Makes the class fun and interesting. Very knowledgable about the material and just an over all great guy. Cares about the student progresses is not on power trip like most prof. defintely recommend!--:)

Currently, I am taking Experimental Methods with Professor Gengaro. So far, he is just excellent! He makes class interesting and entertaining unlike many professors who are monotone and BORING! His exams are extremely fair and he truly cares about the students. Hands down, the best psychology professor at Rutgers!

This professor is incedibly funny. Theres no way you can go into his class and not leave with a smile . He is hilarious.Gengaro is a just a child at heart. He is an extremely fair grader and I love his class and I am looking forward to taking more with him.

Frank is the man. He is great. I had him last semester for 2 classes and I was always looking foward to his class. Instead of making me more stressed out, he would make class be so much fun and interesting that even the most boring topic would still make me want to go to class. He is just awesome!!

All I have to say about Professor Gengaro.. very intellectual yet very alluring. Take his class..he will not disappoint. He definitely deserves the TM,TM, TL, tittle!!

Frank has all the qualities of a great professor. He is fair, straightforward, and on top of that, he is funny, too. Everyone should take him before graduating.

Although he gave himself all those titles SI, TM, and TMC etc, Frank definitely deserves them all. he is not a typical psych professor who just reads the book and talks in a monotone voice. he gives a lot of notes, but it is easy to memorize them because he explains everything throughly.

Perfect. Fun class, fair exams and he is smokin' hot.

You have not experienced life in psychology until you take a class in the "World According to Frank." When a professor can keep your attention for a three hour class(which he abbreviates occassionally)you know he is good. You have to enjoy raw humor and not be politically correct. Take any or all his classes and enjoy the ride. Worth all the money.

Once again, Frank has outdone himself again. His exams were still funny as ever. In this course, you also learned to do research papers and conduct experiments.

He really IS the MAN. His class was fun and informative, and not once did I find myself checking what time it was even though it was a 3 hour class and that really says something. I even brought a friend to class to see how amazing he was. He really is a MUST have teacher. Tests are easy and funny

Enjoyed his class. His jokes were sort of funny and he kept class interesting. Could have done without the lab. That was not necessary.

This class was interesting and pretty easy. You will take a good amount of notes so bring a laptop to type them out if you can. The exams are straight from the notes so don't buy the book. Exams were multiple choice and not that hard. He is also funny and answers your questions. Overall I enjoyed this class and highly recommend it.

he is ok, but i will not take him again... course guide line not organized, readings very confusing to find on the library web page... in the lack of a better person he is ok, but I personally did not find him the best out there.

I liked him, but i didn't do so great on the test cause everyone said it'd be easy when it wasn't. You should read the chapters along with lectures so you can better answer questions on exams. The paper is easy and only 6 pages, his classes are fun to be in and he lets us out early. Cool guy and great professor

He is a funny and nice guy, but his exams where very hard, I mainly studied from his power points and it was not enough, I never missed class and always participated and that helped, but do not go thinking it is easy becuase it is not.

He is really cool, if you have interest in the material. He's not to crazy with attendance but does give out notes that are not on blackboard, so you must come to class. He makes the material easier to understand so the book is quite useless, and just a midterm and final, that he goes over what it will cover. Pretty much a laid back professor

Took Frank for Psych of Personality. I can honestly say he is an amazing teacher!!! Def. my fave. Easy if you pay attention, take notes (bring a laptop if you can) he doesn't post things on blackboard so you need to show up. Only a midterm and a final, didn't buy the book, got an A+..highly recommend! you will learn alot!! and he's really funny!!!

Had this guy for cog. processes, experimental methods and psych of perssonality..passed all of them without even trying...he truly is a legend and personally i believe he's the best psych prof at rutgers without a doubt....keep it up frank!

We need more professors like Frank. He understands and knows the material he is teaching. He has a fantastic personality, he is hilarious and keeps it real. Students are lucky to attend his classes. Talk to the guy!..he has a lot of smart things to say.

FRANK IS SERIOUSLY TM TM TL. he knows how to teach & how to get people interested in the material. as long as u go to every class & take good notes you dont have to worry about the book. he only tests you on what he goes over in class. TRUST ME! i never like going to class, i study last minute & i HATE reading, yet i got an A! he is that good!!

Frank is completely SI, TM, TM, TL, TTP, TMC. If you go to his class (you'll understand those abbreviations). He is super clear on the topics, he makes everything super interesting and he's incredibly funny. I loved every minute of his class. I will definitely look for other classes he teaches, he's just an awesome teacher!!!

This was one class I never missed just because every lecture was entertaining. I would recommend the SI TM TM TL TTP TMC to any student. I don't remember opening the text book once but I reviewed the notes. Also we did have three or four pages of notes every lecture so you may want to bring a laptop

Honestly, I don't remember anything I learned from this class LOL. Just get the notes from a friend who took the class before and you can easily get an A. Just don't underestimate the exams, because they are kinda tricky. I got a 94, 100 and 98 on them but they weren't necessarily easy... So be prepared to study the night before for like 3-4 hours

The best, no question, no doubt. The way he teaches is amazing because of the countless jokes and stories he tells. Never felt the full extent of his 3 hour class. The class, the exams, everything revolves around his power point notes. so copy good notes and you shall succeed. You NEED to study the notes to pass. Have fun, you will.

The best Psych professor at RU! His exams are simple, on the first exam in a class of 200 students, no one failed! Coming to class is a must because he doesn't post his notes, but his exams come straight for the notes. You don't even need the textbook. An excellent professor!

I had him for Cognitive P. and I'm glad I took him. Just take notes, follow the lecture slides because he doesn't post them online. Theres two exams and one paper you have to do. I got a B+ could have gotten an A but I didn't study much for the first exam.. :(

Take notes of his powerpoints. review at home and ace the class. Not only are his tests taken exactly from his lectures but he also includes joke questions that have no wrong answers. Great professor.

Don't bother buying the book. If there is a term you don't understand, this is psych people! the terms can be found anywhere. However, you will HAVE to attend ALL of his classes & take extensive notes. No PP are given later, so you are on your own. Experiment part was dreadful but this is with TA's and not him. No final or midterm study guide.

The greatest professor ever. He knows his stuff and is hilarious. the test are fairly easy because it is everything discussed in class. Study the notes, you get the test. DO NOT NEED THE TEXTBOOK. Attend al classes he gives note s no PP.

I love professor Gengaro! I usually dislike 3 hour classes, but he made the time fly by. Attendance is a must because his tests are based off of his lectures and he doesn't post his slides online. However, teaching wise, he's the best professor I've ever had. Not to mention he's hilarious! I highly recommend him.

An amazing professor. He is very helpful, very understanding, and he cares about his students. It makes a plus that he is very funny and often jokes around in class. He gives 5 extra points on your final grade if you do R-Point studies so that is a big push for you to do them. I would take him again in a heart beat

Gengaro is hands down the top professor at this university. This class was a bit tougher as the exams were more tricky than in previous psych classes. There's two exams worth 50 percent each, so you can't screw up once. Do the 5 rpoints, it's a great way to boost your grade!

Great teacher. A little wild with personal stories but really helps you learn the concepts. Two tests, 50% each, pretty easy and he basically tells you what will be on them before hand. Really good guy too.

Great professor! Only 2 exams & short paper. Gives lots of notes. Hardly used book, just used the notes he gave in class. Some examples are not on the slides, so you need to be in class to do well. Enjoyed the mother-in-law storiesjokes, you will too! Gives the class his work & cell numbers in case you have any questions while studying.

THE GREATEST Pscyh professor in the department. He knows what he's talking about and his sarcasm/dry humor makes his classes entertaining. Pay attention during class, note taking is essential to passing exams, powerpoints are not posted. Everything discussed in class is on the exam, as well as free "Frankie" points!

Absolutely love this guy. Attendance is mandatory but he makes the 6-9 go by pretty fast. Don't leave class in the middle of a movie! He will catch you and won't give you credit even if you did sign in. Typical Frank!

Frank's lectures are by far the funniest. He teaches this class in a way, that makes you understand and want to learn the material. Made the 3 hour go by fast, usually letting us leave early. 1 midterm, 1 final, 1 paper is all there is and offers extra credit r points on top of your average. Take him, great gpa booster.

Would definitely take again.. BEST PROFESSOR OUT THERE.I had an emergency and missed the test, I emailed him and he was very understanding, gave me a makeup test two weeks after it. One of the professors that helps you to pass the course with a B+. He's very serious when it comes to EXAM THEFT. Complete as many R-points as possible

Absolutely one of the best psychology professors at Rutgers. He tells you what is going to be on test a week before, the tests are easy as long as you pay attention & study. He gives extra credit (5 points added to your final grade). He may or may not assign a paper. But his lectures are tedious. Take him, take him!!! Easy A.

I agree that there is a lot of note taking, after all, it was a summer course. However, the notes taken are consistent to the actual exam. There was one 5 page paper based on 3 movies (and some notes), as well as two exams. Very possible for you to do well, if you study. Final grade should be NO surprise if you write down his PPNT slide notes.

I took Frank for Psych of Personality and Cognitive and he is THE MAN. Just go to class and take notes, he doesn't post anything on blackboard and won't let you take pictures of the slides that he has up during class. It was a 6-9 but he ends class at 8. Don't call him "professor", he will literally ignore you.

There are no powerpoints for his course meaning that you have to go to his every class and work really hard to take notes. However, I had no problem listening to him all this semester because he is very clear and knows how to teach. I would certainly take more courses taught by Dr. Gengaro in the future.

Very simple and easy if you show up and take notes. He has a lot of notes, but has a great sense of humor and tells great stories, so you'll enjoy yourself. However, to make you show up he doesn't post them ever. Exams are exactly what his slides show and he tells you EXACTLY what to study a week earlier. He also answers every question you have.

I took Prof. Gengaros Cognitive Psych class in 2000. He is the best teacher I ever had and hes the reason I became a public school teacher and now an administrator. I still talk about him with my own students and have nothing but the utmost respect for him. I cant thank him enough for making classes fun and Interesting.

I thought it would be an easy A but his exam is actually really confusing. However, the way he grades will either bump you up a lot or not really. It still a hilarious class but he doesn't let you take pics of the powerpoint or send them to you so you have to go to class or you'll fail

I was worried about having to take a night class but Frank easily replaced that worry with joy. Even though his class was a 6-9 I very much enjoyed it. He truly is the man, the myth, the legend.

WE STANK PROFESSOR FRANK! Not only is he so sweet and caring he literally ends every single one of his emails the same way and I think it's refreshing to be around a professor who cares. The class format is 4 exams one gets dropped and a discussion board due every Monday night and they are super easy. The workload was so small. 100/10!

Professor Gengaro is a really nice and sweet man. As long as you do your work, it's an easy A. Four exams, one discussion board post a week, and 6 R-points. He also gives extra credit. He is very flexible and just wants you to learn and succeed. Gives clear feedback, always helps if you're stuck and is a good grader. Definitely take him!

Very straight-forward and simple man, and I mean this in the best way. This was the easiest A I've ever earned; he just wants to help you pass and is very understanding on assignments! It's impossible not to get at least a B in this course.

The best professor. He is so generous and alternates his schedule to accommodate the well-being of his students. Only 4 exams and one weekly discussion post throughout the entire semester. Getting an A in this class takes zero to no effort, and everything is found online. I would definitely take one of his classes again.

Professor G. was asynchronous, very easy course only one assignment per week which is shorter than a paper if you get to the point! You get four exams he drops the lowest grade for the semester and that is pretty much it! Oh and do not forget to do Your R-Points he sends reminders but if you get them out the way early your practically done!

Dr. Gengaro is amazing. I took his online class, and it was quite easy. Four tests, one discussion board post a week, and 6 R-points. He also gives extra credit. Very accommodating as well!! if his class is open, register for his class immediately!

Dr. Gengaro is an amazing professor. His lectures are informative yet entertaining because he is so funny. I can't wait for him to start lecturing in-person again.

I'm currently taking Principles of Psychology 102 online and this class is very easy. You have weekly discussion boards and you only have to complete 13 out of 15 of them if you complete all of them, you get extra credit points. The only complaint I have is his slide presentations are over 100 slides which makes it difficult to study for our exams.

I took him for Psych of Personality, and I have to say that he's very laid back, gets back to your emails very quickly, and there is clear communication. Weekly discussion posts and four tests throughout the class are straightforward and laid out from the start of the semester. 10/10 would retake this class.

He is an amazing professor and so easy overall an easy A especially this class with only discussion boards and 3 exams and a final and one of them is dropped so it is easy, if you do the work, to get an A easily so finish the exams well and get the A. So easy and I recommend him so much! Take him for learning and for the A guyss!!

He is an amazing professor actually enjoys his class which also helps for students to be engaged in what they are learning. If you study his tests will be easy and hes hilarious so you can always just pay attention in class and will do fine. I would retake his class 10 times if i could.

Great lecturer and funny, attendance is required but if you go to class and take notes, exams will be super easy. The class before an exam he will do a review, if you study what he tells you you will definitely do well. So much respect for him!

Remember: SI, TM, TM, TL, TMC, TTP He provides study guide for his 3 exams. Attendance is mandatory and loves to make jokes. 6 R-points to pass (If not completed your letter grade drops ex: A -> B), 2 of those 6 have to be done in person, and he awards 5 extra credit if you do another set of 5 R-points. Final is online.

He makes the class fun and tells you what the exam will be about.

I have taken him for three different classes and he has been great for each one. Only graded on exams and can drop the lowest. Reviews exams clearly the week before. He is accommodating if you just reach out to him he will work with you.
