Wouldn't take again

(2/2) students explained their anxiety with time limit of test especial during a pandemic. this was not a care to him. Test was impractical. The workload is overbearing&very stressful. As a 4.0 student,I never felt more defeated and anxiety filled than when I took this class with ridiculous expectations. Final is cumulative&over 110 questions

I can say for certain he is the worst professor I have ever taken in my life.On top of a intensive all semester project , his exams are 100 questions and there is a 2 hour limit. He is an extremely tough grader, very difficult to communicate with as he really doesn't care much and is very cocky.I regret taking this class, DO NOT TAKE HIM!!

I really regret taking this class. He does not understand that the world doesn't revolve around him and his course. He assigns lengthy papers which he critiques EVERY SINGLE word you write. Extremely harsh grader! Exams are 100 - 165 questions (which he writes himself) and you only have 1.5-2 hours to finish it. 98% of the class failed anyways.

I know that taking classes is not easy, and it's okay. But it is not okay to give 165 long questions with 2.5 hour limit, because it does not allow you to think about this question deeply. Harsh grader. Even though this class supposed to be interesting, for me it was draining and gave me a lot of anxiety. If you have a choice, take someone else.

For intro to psych, the course grade was determined by 3 tests only, all from textbook: "Anything in the textbook is fair game for an exam" The lectures were bona-fide Q&A/review sessions that didn't address the usually more involved knowledge necessary for exam questions, which made the lectures a waste of time (at least they were optional).

I started with 6 courses and withdrew from 2 to pass this class. He'd often get things mistaken. Each of the first 2 tests we took counted towards 33% of our grande and the last was 34%. He didn't require attendance so I'd take advantage and study on my own. We only read from 1 textbook that was 640 pages.

First impression: Professor Frank Grasso is a brilliant professor. Unbalanced syllabus, caused two panic attacks during the semester. He is not compassionate to those struggling with the material. His grading is harsh. My friend took his stats class the following semester and threw up before an exam because of stress. Lower-classman beware.
