Great teacher quick and to the point no extras!

Great teacher. Teaches really well. If you pay attention you should do well in his class.

What an amazing teacher! He makes Chemistry so easy to understand. A lot of the other profs need to take a lesson from him - he's there for us to learn, not just to stand in front of the room and show how much he knows.

Awesome teacher, very clear on everything, almost makes you feel like you're five with the way he talks sometimes but overall an easy course, I took it in 6 weeks. Funny guy.

Excellent teacher.. I just finished a 6 week summer course.. he made it enjoyable and I learned alot.. his passion for chemistry and teaching was evident consistently. I would take a class taught by him any day.

Has a true passion for teaching. Never thought I would find someone who made me enjoy Chemistry, but he did it. He knows how to explain things so that the beginning Chem student will understand. Always willing to answer questions, during & after class.

I never got the chance to take Grimes class because everyone wants him as a teacher, even people at admissions say your lucky if you get him. Everyone I talk to speak very good about him. Chem is a very tough class,try your best to get grimes=good grade.

I never thought I would like, let alone understand Chemistry. If you can get Mr. Grimes, you will KNOW Chemistry.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? He is absolutely amazing. Thanks Mr. Grimes! (Not to mention, how many people can say they learned from Frank Grimes? I thought Homer Simpson drove him to his death!)

Awesome guy! People go into the class thinking it is going to be hard but Grimes makes chemistry look easy. Take notes and pay attention. There is math involved but the problems are very easy to do. Labs are fun but a little work. Grimes is the best. Take him if you can!

Grimes is an excellent teacher. I dreaded taking this class until I had him . He knows the material and knows how to effectively deliver it. You can tell he has a lot of experience. Definitely take him, study his notes and the A is yours.

Awesome teacher. I never had chemistry in high school and he taught this course as if it were high school, but at college level. He's very clear. Take your notes, also for his quizzes there right from the worksheets, I highly enjoyed his class and like I said he's awesome. Labs were okay, some were a little hard but he will help you if you ask him.

If you have to take chem.,he's the best teacher there is. I dreaded having to take this class but actually found it interesting and enjoyable. I only wish he taught microbiology, too.

He is the best science teacher I ever had! Amazing, in fact. I never thought that I could get A's in chemistry, but thanks to him, I did. All you need is his notes, and just for the record, buying the textbook is a complete waste of money. He makes references to it, but all the tests and quizzes are straight from the notes. Amazing teacher!!!

I had to retake this class since I made the mistake of taking Dr Yorke the 1st time! I was so afraid of failing again but Prof. Grimes was fantastic. He really works with you and won't move on until everyone gets it. Highly reccomended, especially if you're back in school as an adult & have forgotten what you learned in high school!

Mr. Grimes is awesome. He is by far the other chem teacher you should take at Bucks. Gives great notes. Genuinely cares about him students. test are a little hard but study and you'll do fine. all the tests are on worksheets and notes. don't even bother buying the book u dont use it. He gives Q's out in begining but doesnt collect them.

Great Teacher, Took in Summer, fast paced, But I understood everything, Explains everything perfectly and makes it interesting, Labs are boring, however, they are all the same.

Awesome teacher. He teaches high school kids so he understands that ... we don't get it! no big though ... if you watch his facial reactions to how fun chem. is He will crack you up. Totally take him.

Honestly, the best teacher I have ever had at BCCC - teaches at a high school level, knowing that we are only taking chem as a nursing prereq. He does get frustrated during labs but only because people in the class are idiots.

If you need healing in CHEM, run to the right Doctor: Mr Grimes. I was terrified to do this course, esp during summer coz there is alot of rushing, but this science genious made my life very easy. You totally need to take him!NOW!Class fills quickly, rush now will ya?!

great teacher, funny, amusing(if chem could actually be) and if you pay attn in class, you dont even need to open the text book and you will pass, also do the labs, they r a big part of your grade, i would recommend him for those who dred chem-he made it bareable

Mr. Grimes made chemistry very interesting and easy to understand. I was a bit apprehensive about taking chemistry because I thought it was a lot of memorization, but Mr. Grimes wasn't about memorizing, he wanted you to understand. He didn't use chemistry to teach chemistry, he used every day life and occurances. I highly recommend him.

He is the best, Funny, Interesting, Cuts out all the junk you don't need to know. You'd have to be an idiot not to pass his class. He gives you everything you need. The greatest teacher ever

Mr. Grimes makes it easy to understand what can be a very incomprehensible topic for many. Myself included. If you have had a bad experience in high school chemistry, yet need to take it again, get in his class ASAP! He relates things to every day life, and doesn't make you feel foolish for not understanding the topic at hand. Highly recommend!

best teacher ever!! EXTREMELY helpful and truely wants you to pass this class..just show up, take notes and listen you'll get an A! no need for book though, just get the lab manual..if you dread chemistry, he is absolutely the guy for you!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Mr. Grimes is a very smart and orgnized person. He's lecture is very helpful. If you can do basic math, you will get A on his class.

He is gifted with his ability to break down a hard subject into simple analogies, and his own much simpler formulas for diffrent chemical equations, He is very inspiring, available for help if you need it, and takes the time to make sure his students get it all. you can only do bad if you don't ask for help or show up for class. you will learn chem

Mr Grimes is the God of Chemistry. You will love his calss & hate the drive to Newtown. He is so sweet. You will pass if you do the worksheets, that is the test. Book is almost never needed. He is awesome! Smooches to Mr Grimes!!!

Mr. Grimes is the man! The way he teaches Chemistry - anyone can get it! Go to class, do the worksheets and ask questions. He explains things in a way that makes it easy to get it! I dreaded taking Chemistry and he made it so easy!

Grimes is a great teacher, if you fail its your own fault, he is always willing to explain any and everything until you understand. Just do the worksheets and ask quesions. He's also very flexible. I would definitely take him again. He made Chemistry much more understandable.

Professor Grimes loves Chemistry but doesn't like other teachers who make it hard on students. He breaks it down so you can understand it. I never took high school Chem and feared this course until I met him. God bless you Professor Grimes for helping so many of us learn and succeed in Chem

i was terrified to take chemistry, but mr.grimes is sincerly the best science teacher that i have ever taken. he made it so interesting as well as made the math part easy. as long as you work hard and ask for help when needed youll do fine. i actually enjoyed chem believe it or not! ;)

I agree with all the other comments. Mr. Grimes is a great teacher. Do the worksheets and take notes in class and you'll do fine. If you think you don't like chemistry, you will change your mind after his class. He teaches in a simple way that you are sure to understand. Take any Chem class he is taking, it's worth it.

I took Mr. Grimes summer session II. Best teacher ever! He really wants you to do well and understand.I wasnt interested in chemistry until I took his class. Learned a lot!

Mr. Grimes really enjoys teaching. He keeps very interesting & entertaining. He explains things in a way that you can understand. His tests are difficult unless you study hard, but then again it is Chemistry.

Mr. Grimes is a great teacher! he makes chemistry so much easier then it is and give you many shortcuts on the way. Hes fun and energetic about teaching. His quizes for summer session are basically the review sheet and quizes and labs make up a whole lot of your grade. I would DEFINENTALY RECCOMEND TAKING HIM!

Mr. Grimes is by far one of the best professors I have ever had. He truely cares about his students and has their best interest in mind. He wants you to do well and breaks down the material so it is easy for you to understand. He is clear on what his expectations are, you cannot memorize notes for his class, you must truely understand them to pass.

Mr. Grimes has an amazing gift & talent for teaching. He appeals to all levels of intelligence. He eased our tension & extended confidence in us to make sure we knew we were capable. One of the best chem prof I ever had. As long as u go to his class everyday and listen what he teaches u then ur gone pass this class with an A without a textbook. I didn't buy a textbook and have an A for this class.

Take Mr. Grimes. You will not regret it. He makes Chemistry so easy because he teaches it so well. He gives examples, explains everything, uses metaphors, & relates things to real life. He gives everybody confidence that they can succeed. You do not need the textbook at all. If you attend every class, pay attention and take good notes, you're set.

A very kind and humane man. Makes a lot of funny jokes and take plessure from his work. Never made us feel lost and helped us out if we asked. But, not a lot of asking was done, because his way of putting information is very clear,bright and friendly.A very nice man.He's one of that rare kind of teachers, that are always young in their hearts.

Great teacher! He can make chemistry fun and I LOVED the class. He gives quizzes and is totally thorough when it comes to the exams. Study the worksheets and enjoy the labs. He will help you with whatever you need in the class. I wish I had him next semester.

Mr. Grimes is a great prof. Gives you things to study and practice on. Gives partial credit and doesn't make you memorize everything, although now I need to know stuff for GenChem II and I don't! Attendance helps your grade!!

Mr. Grimes is an awesome Chemistry professor! He is very passionate about teaching Chemistry. Do not buy the textbook, as it is not needed. Only the lab book is needed. Make sure to study EVERYTHING in your notes; it WILL be on the test! He drops the lowest lab grade. He will make it a point for you to understand Chemistry. Mr. Grimes is the man!

Excellent teacher. Prior to taking this class I hated Chemistry. He made this summer semester really interesting and totally changed my perspective on Chemistry. Awesome guy, I would definitely take his class again if I had to. A++++ recommendation.

Out of all my 30 or so professors i've had, Mr Grimes has to be the BEST! Chemistry is my weakest subject but he made it so simple, and helped you to understand it. I finished with an A for the class! You honestly just have to study your notes, and don't even need your book. Everything you need to know is in his lecture. Awesome teacher!

Professor Grimes is a great professor. He is not an easy A but if you show up to class and pay attention it is possible to get an A. I was scared of Chemistry but he made it easy to understand. Grading is clear. You will have a quiz before each test. Must do labs and show up for class. Must put in the work and you will pass.

I was so scared to take chem after being out of school for many years. Mr. Grimes breaks everything down so you're able to understand.

I took him at 2 different colleges! I HIGHLY recommend him. he Loves what he teaches and his goal is to have you pass. He is great and very friendly. If i put more effort into the class i would have gotten a higher grade. there was nothing that this man did wrong he is AWESOME

Professor Grimes was one of my favorite professors so far! I was worried about taking a 6 week summer course, but he made it so easy for us! As long as you paid attention in class and did the homework he assigned it was super easy to pass the class with an A. The only hard thing was the labs, but seeing it was over zoom was understandable.

professor grimes made chemistry so easy to learn and understand. he gives many worksheets to practice and lets the students know what the test or quiz is going to be. lab reports are also very manageable. the assignments are all weighed pretty evenly so if you fail an assignment, it is definitely possible to pass this course with no problem.

Prof. Grimes is the only person I have ever encountered that explains chemistry in a way that truly makes sense. He walks through each problem step by step, and if you ask him for clarification on anything he does his best to explain even further. So long as you show up to class and don't miss many labs, Grimes' course is one of the best at Bucks!
