If you have not had Algebra in long time, he is great in teaching you the basics, again! He addresses your problems, and stays with you until you get it. He makes class fun, laughter abounds, he cares,took winter course,hot b/c he has great attitude!

There is so much to say about Frank. He is the most understanding, helpful professor i've ever had and probably will have. Math is my weakness, but after taking his class, i feel i can do anything. He motivates you, hes hilarious, and makes learning fun.

If you register for Mento's clas , you will have a GREAT TIME . He not only teaches , he entertains . He will tell you a lot of jokes and funny stories . You will want to go to math class just to hear the funny stuff he'll tell you in between lectering . He is is very helpful , and if you try very hard , you will get a C very easy . GREAT PROF !!

So far I have had a blast with his class. Very fun class and the best time I have had in any math class in my entire life. Also helps I am familiar of him from being a supervisor in my town. I highly recommend him as a teacher for any level of mathematics.

I've always been bad and math and never wanted to go to class but Frank Mento changed me. I took a 3 week winter session with him and went to every single 4 hour class because he made material easy to understand. As a bonus he likes to tell jokes, much of which are corny, but great icebreakers nonetheless. Best Teacher Ever!

I the Frank is one of the best math professor there at Middlesex. As long as you show up to class and try. He'll pass you. I think he's a very funny guy, he'll keep you laugh though out the whole entire semester.

I took algebra 1 with frank. He was the best teacher i have ever had for math. He explained the rules and was so clear. Gives take home tests and tests arent too long. Take this professor if you want a decent grade.

Mr. Mento the bomb! I am pretty awful at math. But his technique is incredible! He give lots and lots of practice and makes the class interesting with his colorfulf personality. At first you don't really know how to read him, but if you work diligently and show interest he is very fair with his grading. He will even help you out in Math Lab

Mr. Mento is amazing! There is no way I could have made it through MAT013 without having him as a professor. He has a unique sense of humor but takes his task of teaching very seriously. There is a lot of repitition and all you have to do is show up to class and take the notes. The tests come from the work done in class. Mento is terrific!

He's such an amazing teacher in more ways then one. If you don't like math at all he will find a way to at least show you how to at least complete the assignments and go over anything and everything you ask him. I would HIGHLY recommend taking him if you have the honor and the privilege. Look in advance for him in any math course.

This is my first time rating a professor, this is how strongly I feel that Mr. Mento deserves praise as a professional teacher. With a perfect balance of focus and comic relief, he makes Math easier to digest than any instructor I've had experience with. I've never been so engaged in a math course before, and I've ALWAYS hated math!

I'm currently in his class now. He is a very helpful & down-to-earth professor. I enjoy his class. It's not a big deal if you miss class bc he goes in order in the chapter. He gives homework, but allows you to start it in class & everyone pretty much finishes it & leaves class early. But don't be late, he hates that!

This is by far the best math teacher I've had, Professor Mento makes the equations much more easier to understand and will answer any question that you have. I had to take him at 9am-12, 4 days a week which I thought would be terrible but his energetic/humorous attitude made going class less of a dreadful experience

Such a wonderful teacher and his assignments are so easy. Always lets you do homework in class and finishes early most of the time. If you have a question, he'll explain it until you understand it. I had personal issues and he was way more understanding than any other professor I've had. Definitely recommend!!

Attendance isn't mandatory but it is really important. one day out of the semester he will give you a pop quiz and if you're absent that class for whatever reason, he wont let you make it up. and that goes for every test. Very funny and nice professor though, makes class understanding and fun. pay attention and study you will pass without a problem

Fall 2014. Easy Professor! Loved him! He was a jokester not many laughed at his cheesy humor but me haha. The only way you won't pass his class is if you don't the online work (Aleks) he mentions It once in the beginning of the course & never brings it up again so keep up with that! I did like 50% of it on the last couple days of the class passed!

I had Professor Mento for two math classes. He is a very good teacher. If you are like me and need a professor with a personality then this is your guy. So funny and such a great teacher. He teaches at a pace that works with everyone. If you fail his class than you must of never gone to class or tried. His test are easy and he gives study guides!

Great Professor. I've never been good at math, but I was able to do better in Mento's class than any other math I've taken before. His corny jokes help the class time fly by, plus he always lets class out about a half hour early.

Great professor! Made the class as easy as he possibly could and let us out at least half an hour early almost every class. Gave a study guide before every test which makes them extremely easy to pass. I would take again!

Laid back man. Tells jokes that aren't always funny, but you can always pretend to laugh at them. Asks you to buy the textbook but you won't ever need it. The only homework you have is completing the annoying ALEKS pie. He has 4 tests and a final. Gives review sheets before each test that pretty much cover the whole test. Final is multiple choice.

Good professor. I've always struggled with Math, but had an easier time taking his course. He simplifies concepts and makes them easy to remember. His practice tests are literally almost the exact same as the actual test, so just master the study guide and get a high grade on tests. He's a good guy with a sense of humor.

Professor Mento is very easy and always jokes around with his student. His class is very easy and his lecture and explanation are very clear and unique. He's the best math professor ever in MCC. If you take him for any math class I bet you will pass. He doesn't teach full class. He let you go early.
