Frank is a good teacher. Notes and lectures are interesting.
A great talker, tests are fair
No Comments
Easy class. Has lots of enthusiasm.
A bit wrapped up in himself, but not a bad prof.
I now done my business degree at the U of A, and this guy is the best prof I have ever had. He is the stick I measure all other profs against. He even makes accounting interesting. The guy knows a tonne about business in the real world.
He is a really good professor. He makes accounting really interesting and easy to learn. By far the best professor that I have had so far.
makes class interesting, tests are fair, but wasnt very helpful outside of class. rather ambigious in some cases.
He is a very nice person. His lecture is cool, but not very useful.
Lectures are excellent. Covers material with lots of different angles. Lots of knowledge on the topic. Tests are fair, gives lots of bonus marks. Lectures are interesting, funny, and applies to the "real world". Excellent Prof.
by far the hottest prof i've ever had.
Great guy with crazy enthusiasm for the material. Taught it in an easy to understand, real world way. Loved the side stories, great for getting attention back, quite funny too. Foudn him to be really fair although tests were a bit inconsistent, he evened them out in the end. For someone who doesn't
very enthusiastic, entertaining, grabs your attention. good teacher
Get out of busn 201 if your with this guy. You would think that a busn 201 class would be a guaranteed A, but his exams are unfair and you must quote the guy to the tee. He is an enthusiastic and entertaining teacher but his exams surely don't reflect that. And I've heard he's terrible with help outside of class as well
a slight struggle
The notes you get in class won't help too much. Going for the videos is the only reason to go. He will test you on those. His midterm and final were actually quite difficult. He asks very specific questions. Make sure you do well on the assignments and business plan because your midterm/final won't help your mark.
great teacher, hard exams
He's an awesome prof and classes are fun! exams are tough and he asks specific questions. Make sure you do well on the busn plan because that is graded more for the effort rather than the quality.
Frank is a friendly and funny prof. His classes are always fun to attend and he is also very helpful when you ask him questions. For the case studies, assignments, and the group project, he marks them more for effort than for quality. However, his midterm and final were challenging and he asks specific questions. Overall, I got A- in the course.
His exams are very hard.
Frank is very nice and funny, but the way he teaches it requires a lot of pre-knowledge, and almost everything must be taught to yourself via textbook. But extremely nice and fair
Okay but can see he is all about himself - doesn't care about your learning. Likes to hear himself speak.
Big help made dry subject material interesting
He is teaching at Grant MacEwan University now. he is the best teacher in the world, i love his examples. he should teach other proffessors how to teach, you will understand every chapter by the end of the class. go to his classes and you will easily get an A grade. very helpful and understanding. B.E.S.T teacher in the whole world!
Can be hard to understand, rambles ambiguously. You need to read the chapters in the text to get a goood grasp of what hes teaching.
He is an awesome guy. He is really funny but not a good accounting professor. I did most of my learning from the textbook. Also, he wasn't very helpful when he responded to my emails. Having said that, I think if are going to take a class like BUSN-201 or something less technical.. he would be an awesome professor.
Pretty much had to teach myself Acct 322. Frank is a funny guy but he teaches at a very fast pace and 99% of the time the class has no idea what he is talking about. Its a good idea to read the chapter and do practice problems.
One of the best teachers at macewan. His lectures are really interesting and he uses realistic anecdotes. Tests are easy if you have kept up with the chapter readings thoroughly. From day one, start jotting down the slides he pauses on.
Guy is a Boss.Awesome teacher with jokes and admirable business experience.
Awesome guy and very funny. Frank does an awesome job from an accounting perspective I wouldnt say Succuci is a difficult teacher, it makes more sense that it's actually the class itself that is hard. Frank makes the class as easy as possible. One of my favorite profs at macewan by far.
Nice guy and willing to help but not the best accounting professor. I recommend using the book lots and thoroughly understanding the assignment and case questions.
Frank is a very nice guy who is funny and seems to have real world experience. However, he has difficulty teaching others. His lectures don't make much sense unless you've read the textbook before hand. On top of that, his exams have MC(from textbook) questions and SA (from lectures), so attendance is mandatory, as is reading the textbook.
Frank is awesome! Good stories and is hilarious. This is university so you can't expect him to do everything for you. Put in all your work, study, read the chapters, go to class, and you'll be fine. I got an A- but you have to do your part. Good class overall. I enjoyed it.
He's a beauty. Makes class interesting and post videos online instead of class once in a while... He's on of the good ones out there.
Exams are ridiculous. All he does in class is go over examples from the text but exams are nothing like the examples he does in class. He makes the exams so much harder than they need to be. I have a 3.6 GPA and all I'm hoping to do is pass this class. In addition to making his exams so you'll fail, he won't explain what you did wrong.
Frank is funny, kind and respectful. He's always on time and ready to teach...But that's the catch.Frank doesn't explain the content very well, especially the business project, and you will feel like you have to study the entire textbook, because he doesn't outline or specify important points for his exams. So essentially, you have to teach yourself.
A little tough but great prof
Attend all classes because you get in-class labs for your participation marks. He makes all the content interesting; his stories are so funny - priceless. The business project is huge. DON'T underestimate how much work it takes. He bases a lot of it on effort. MAKE the effort and you'll get an awesome mark. EVERYONE should have him as a prof.
GOOD!
Frank is ok. Not very clear in explaining. His exams are easy but he's a hard marker. Not a good prof for acct. This was my lowest mark. He doesn't give part marks. Wish I didn't take this class with him.
best!
Nice man willing to help a great deal outside of class. During class time he goes through the material way too fast. Just use the textbook and the sample solutions posted on blackboard because you won't get much help from Frank in class...
Don't. His exams are ridiculous. Gives no incentives to go to class or practice. Terrible.
Just do the examples he does in class and you're guaranteed an A if you have half a brain. Just understand the concept and his exams are the same as the examples but just a bit tougher.
Exams were nothing like what was taught in class. Find another one if you can.
I know it's a new curriculum from this year, but attending class teaches me nothing in preparation for the exam. The semester is almost done, and I literally have six pages of notes from lectures because all he does is tell irrelevant stories that don't get the concept across. Also does not explain expectations well.I am teaching myself this class.
Great prof! Love this guy. very interactive and passionate about teaching.
Pretty much taught myself from the text book. His class is so boring and he doesn't even teach you anything, spends half the class going through house keeping things and doesn't go over anything. Didn't go over the balance sheet at all but it was worth half of our marks on the mid term. Didn't tell us when things are due so you must go to class
Frank is a nice guy, and is pretty funny. He uses a lot examples but I found that the exams weren't anything like what he did in class. He tries his best and is always there if you need help.
A little late with the rating, but this guy's a beauty. Goes off on strange tangents in class. He gets you unnecessarily worried for his exams, which works in a way I guess. It's just that I found his exams are much easier than he makes them out to be. Follow along in class, do a bit of practice on your own and you can't miss on his tests.
Felt he did not prepare the class well for the midterm, however did for the final last year. Overall good class.
Terrible marketing professor. He would sit on one slide during the whole class and talk about his life experiences instead of actually teaching the material. Midterms and final were all long answer and very difficult to study for. This class was entirely self taught and very boring.
I can easily say he is my favourite prof!
Assignments are marked very easily but the exams are brutally hard!! He talks a lot and tells stories, his lectures are interesting but he is always "trying something new" or "experimenting"
Frank is a good prof, he keeps students engaged with stories that are related to the course. Had and did not understand the 10% participation mark. So going to class is a good idea.
Due to the reference sheet is exam was ridiculously hard
Really nice guy and gives good lectures, Frank has a great sense of humour and is very approachable. However the midterms and finals are really hard, get ready to work for your grades they don't come easy and he does not give part marks.
My favourite prof that I've had. Unfortunately that is mainly due to his personality, not his teaching methods. His tests are unusually hard given the subject matter with them being 90% fill in the blanks with no multiple choice and the occasional written question. Also I highly recommend reading the textbook because he can sometimes confuse people
Going to class was useless (for the most part) as he generally just went over solutions to textbook problems (all solutions are posted on blackboard). Read the chapters, do the assigned questions, and you're golden for the tests. Very do-able course and he genuinely wants to see his students succeed.
Franks tests have gotten a lot better. He gives part marks and lets you bring in a double sided cheat sheet. Examples are very case based. He explains the topics well and gives lots of practice questions that relate somewhat to the exams.
Never wanted to miss a class because Frank makes going worthwhile! If you want a good mark in this class you are able to get it.
Uses relevant examples and actually has great tactics to learn the material. Good references, good tests. Overall great prof - will take courses with him again.
The exams are tough because he lets you have a cheat sheet. Puts few questions for heavy-weighted exams which are a bummer, but he is hilarious and makes the dry subject enjoyable.
I really can not understand how anyone taking his Marketing 301 class could ever have a bad time. He spoonfeeds a lot of gimmie answers to you on every test and the review periods for tests essentially give you a minimum of 60% come test time. Frank is actually hilarious too, I never had a bad time in any of his classes! Make sure you get the book
Solid choice. if you have the opportunity to take him you'll be glad you did. His old man stories are the best and it keeps the class light and entertaining.
Frank was a super easy marker, and relied heavily on textbook usage in class. His lectures I found to be kind of redundant; he has all of his slides posted on Blackboard. Super nice guy, but the exams are brutal if you aren't good with straight memorization of concepts-- very heavy course load. Group project was easy and actually pretty fun.
Such a great prof. His lectures are clear and well presented. He lets you know what is an exam candidate and what isn't. Direct and forward projects. Responds quickly to emails. Very enthusiastic. I was shocked every time by how fast the class went, I could have stayed an extra hour honestly.
Both midterms are fair, but the final was iffy. He doesn't clearly state what chapters will be on exams. His lectures are ok, his teaching is scattered and he relies on the PowerPoints. He teaches based off of the textbook answers and rarely fully went over an example. He won't help with the online assignments and his final review was not helpful.
You need this class to move on? You like teachers that actually teach? You like teachers who actually know what their teaching? Well let me tell ya, this dude is a hard pass. For sure get somebody else. I don't want to be too mean so i'll just stop here.
I find his class really boring.. I only attend because of the participation mark. Extremely easy to get side tracked because he just rambles on. I found the textbook more helpful than he was but regardless, extremely easy to get a good mark in his class.
Frank is a nice guy who replies to emails quickly and helps a lot with assignments. However, his exams are very tricky and he will purposely include information to mess you up. The two midterms were okay but the final exam was very difficult and he did not specify what was on it.
This material is so boring I fell asleep on more than one occasion in class. The final exam was crazy difficult and it was a complete shot in the dark for studying. Frank likes to mess with you in the wording of questions etc. to see if you're really reading through everything carefully so beware of that. Would not recommend even though he is funny
great marketing teacher! so interactive with his class its awesome. tests are hard so you do need to study but his slides give you a chance to get 90 or over on the exams
Best prof ever. He is hilarious and his old man jokes are the best. Makes a boring accounting class super fun. Very clear with what he expects on midterms and finals. He told us exactly what to study for on the finals. Definitely recommend him. His humour his awesome.
he's funny but he always messing up our marks and whatnot. his exams will trick you and add extra info to mess you up. before the final, he did make a list of what will be on the final, but some of the material he said that will be on it, was not. I wasted my time studying for extra material. the final was so tough and confusing.
Mr. Saccucci is extremely kind and he really seems to care about the well-being of his students. Exams are based on the key slides he outlines in class but, they can be super specific. However, he marks his papers in such a way that everyone does well on them (provided they put in the effort).
AMAZING PROF! He tells you what will be tested on the exams and takes it straight from his powerpoint slides so that's all you need to focus on to get a good grade on the exams. Loves participation marks so attendance is important. Easy A!!
Frank is a great guy and MARK 301 is a relatively easy course he teaches well and you should have no problems learning his PowerPoint and doing well on tests
Franks an absolute gem. As long as you go to class, youll know what you need to know for exams. Exams are short and fair.
Frank is one of the best profs I have ever had. He makes dry topics clear and relatable by using real lif examples. He tells you the exact kind of questions to expect on the midterm and final, so as long as you show up you will do well. Anyone who says his exams are hard clearly didnt go to class because his expectations are very clear.
Don't get me wrong, Frank is a stand-up guy and tries to make lectures entertaining but... I wouldn't recommend him for Accounting if you learn better by writing out examples rather than just looking at the answers on a powerpoint. I also found his exams to be tricky and hard to study for because they were mostly based on "critical thinking."
So let me start by saying Frank is a really nice professor, really funny makes the class entertaining however there are no notes from the class and you are basically left to self teach yourself. He does tell what is on the exam thank god but if you learn better with notes or examples please find another professor
Frank is a very funny professor. He had textbook questions posted for each chapter on the course outline that he went through in class. Quizzes were very easy as long as you went to class, and reviewed your notes. He tells you exactly what to expect for midterms from each chapter, so you don't have to spend alot of time studying.
idk why there's so many low ratings. Frank is a very nice guy, and he tells what to expect for the exams. The quizzes are open book and very easy, just go to class. He gives you the outline for the group assignment and everything you need to know for it is discussed in class. The only part of this course that was challenging was the online stuff.
Frank was amazing - marketing is not my thing but he made it really fun and easy. Paper/group project were a lot of work but easy to do well. Exams were all memorization and as he was teaching he would say which questions we needed to know for the exam - as long as you showed up you could ace the midterm and final. Super funny and genuinely cares.
I was about to drop out of my program because so many professors in the BComm can be tough and not very personable... Frank totally changed that around for me. I loved going to his class so much it got me interested in school again. He gives real-world examples that make the content less boring. Plus, he is really funny and approachable!!
Frank is amazing! Cares so much about his students and preps you for all exams and assignments.
Frank is funny and makes class enjoyable. You need to understand the material to do well but I mean isn't that normal? Although this class pushes you to think, it will prepare you for the real world more than some other easy courses. I really liked him and did well. I feel prepared for my future ACCT courses. Textbook for HW questions only for me.
Great prof, really cares about his students and wants them to excel. A fair marker and gives you ample opportunity to do well. I would definitely recommend taking Frank for BUSN 450.
Frank is definitely the most caring, kind and funny professors I have had. Take him if you can. This course was quite hard for me. He is happy to help.
Frank was AMAZING, he is definitely one of the best professors at MacEwan. Mark 301 material is very dry, he made lectures interesting with his personal experiences. He is very respectful and accommodating. We had two midterms (20%/each), a final (30%), and a project (30%). All our exams were open book cuz of COVID.
Frank is a very engaging and charismatic professor who clearly cares about the subject matter and his students. He has a lot of interesting and funny stories/anecdotes from his past that he uses to give context to the course material. I actually wanted to show up to his lectures, something I cannot say about any other professor I ever had.
Frank is one of the best profs at Macewan. I took an accounting class with him as well as BUSN 450 and both were great. You have to put in the work but he's one of the most engaging professors I've had in my undergrad experience
- very interactive in class - keeps the class engaging with talking about other things at times in class - always gives hint what is coming & what is not for quizzes, mid-terms & final and also for the assignments - his enthusiasm towards the class makes me attend his class in the morning from 8:00 am - 9:20 am
Professor Saccucci provides lots of materials to aid in student learning and development. His exams and assignments are extremely fair, and he provides lots of advice on how to prepare for them. He is always available to meet with students and help explain assignments and concepts. He is a great professor!
