Great prof. Frank has lots of real-life examples that pertain directly to course material. He teaches in a very clear, organized way. Wants students to succeed. Seems to know everybody who's anybody. An asset to Ryerson.

Frank doesn't want to make your life difficult. He works hard yapping and explaining the standard prefab powerpoints undergrads who have no experience. Would be an excellent MBA prof. Nice man. Fair. Same adage effort=grade

Frank Tang is one of the best professors at Ryerson University. I have really enjoyed coming to class each week and hearing about his experiences in relation to the course concepts. Also, he teaches students and helps them feel more prepared for tests and final exams.

If you are lucky you will be in his class for BUS800. He is knowledgable, there to help you, clear and you will learn a lot in his class. He in the only BUS800 professor who is not there to give you a hard time but there to teach and help you learn.

Best Prof ever! He explains everything very clearly, and gets straight to the point. All his tests are MC, so all you have to do is read and understand the material. The MC questions don't ask stupid memorization questions like "what is the definition of...". Instead he asks questions like "which of the following are the best example of...".

Frank is a great guy. Do your work and you are guaranteed a good mark. If you are sincere about learning, Frank will go out of his way to help you. Best Professor I’ve had! You will not regret being in his class. Tests are really fair, he is kind, very helpful, supportive, and teaches very well. His experience and teaching style make MGT401 a fun learning experience. I definitely recommend taking MGT401 with him. I’m also definitely going to take BUS800 with him as well.

Prof Tang made Stats applicable to everyday life. His conceptual approach made statistics a much friendlier subject. If I ever had to take another Stats class, I would want it to be taught by Prof Tang. "Figures can lie and liars can figure"

Boring course but Mr. Tang is a nice guy. He came by during the final exam ands started giving me the answers to a math problem I was struggling with! I got an A in his course even though it was useless and boring to me so imagine how great it would be if you actually cared about operations management, aka "How to Run a Factory".

This is Professor was one of the best Pro i ever had...best...this Pro teaches you about curreny stuff happen right now in the busniess world very interest course. If you just attend the class i promise you will pass B OR A. I learn so much from him in such small time. i wish we could get more Professors like him. Ryerson needs to hiring Professor

Best prof ever....really funny and still manages to teach and keep the course relevant. If you want to fall asleep, take Bailey's class. If you want to laugh, learn AND get a good mark, take Prof Tang's class!

He cracks me up when he does his impression of someone chewing gum and walking at the same time. His lessons go well beyond the classroom. He teaches MBA students and does not dumb it down for Ryerson. If you have the chance to take his class don't miss it. Sadly, the text bites, but you have to memorize it. Exams come right out of the text.

I really enjoyed my course of Operations Management taught by Frank. as it was my first course in Canada, I am really impressed the way he deliver the course making is simple and understandable.Guidance and advice provided by him not only enables me to improve my marks but also give me confidence in my future studies. It is a greater teacher, He wants to help you in order to pass his class. We have much fun with him. He is clear and if you need help he is present. You have to do a presentation, in the beginning you think it is hard, but at the end you learn many things If you have the possibility to choose this teacher go ahead, you will not regret that all.

Trust me if you have him for you MGT 401, I will guarantee an A+. The course will require a little bit of work from out site the school-plant tour but it is worth. Try it and have a fun in his class.

Took this course on line. This guy will answer each and every question you post in the forum, and all your private emails. Goes out of his way to make sure everyone does well. It’s as if he couldn’t live with himself if you did poorly. He’s a pro, knows his stuff inside out. Very reasonable. The final is basically the first two tests.

I took it as an online course. If you keep up with the readings, the multiple choice mid terms and final are a breeze. Unfortunately, there is so much material to memorize, thats the only way you can get a bad mark on the test. Case study inolved a lot of writing. Ours came out to 42 Pages in a group. Lastly the actual course is boring in IMO.

Frank is an awesome professor. This course could have been really boring but Frank turned it interesting with his real life examples. Tests are multiple choice so you really have to know your stuff. One big assignment, but he will give you a good mark if he sees the work. Overall I recommended you take this course with Frank.

This is my first course in Ryerson University and it was fantastic! It was an online course and I was very amazed how he can accommodate all students and reply to any emails so quickly! This makes it more interesting!I took the exam in the Philippines and everything was so organized with the help of Rose.Thanks so much to both of u!All the best!

You can do well but need to keep up with the reading, which can be quite a bit. There is a group project but show some work and you'll do okay. Save some time and take take the online course.

Funny guy for sure!!! Most of the class is quite easy, the final can be quite tricky. Overall fun guy.

Take this course online. Frank's midterm and final were quite easy. You just have to read the big fat textbook and try to understand as much as possible and you will get a good grade. The assignment can be a handful so hope for good group partners.

An extremely nice professor. I have no interest in the course whatsoever, so I didn't really do any work or come to class. I managed to scrape by by skimming through the text. AMAZING PROF! One of my last courses in Ryerson and I am so happy I took Frank's class. Never a dull moment in this class, always keeps the class entertained. Uses current situations and applies them to the material. Midterm and Final are an easy A if you read the book. He has been all over the world, and has an impressive resume. A MUST TAKE

If you take this course, make sure you have Frank Tang! Lots of info in this course that is extremely confusing. You need the prof to give real world examples and explain while keeping you interested. He knows what he is talking about, its almost scary b/c he can detect **** a mile away. Bonus of this course is that he is funny. A++++++++++++

Mid-terms and Finals are all multiple choice, so u have to read the book. Very easy marker, every group got 20+ out of 25 on the group assignment. Spend minimum effort and got B+.

Very knowledgeable professor with years and years of experience! Read the textbook, come to class, listen to his stories, and you'll come out of this course being able to connect concepts taught to real-world management.

The course itself is pretty boring but Frank made class worthwhile. He is an amazing prof, speaks well, can relate the material and even cracks jokes. He has plenty of relatable work experience, so he knows what he is talking about. Evaluations are pretty straightforward, Study the slides and read textbook focusing on concepts and definitions.(y)

Prof. Tang has been great for Info Tech Mang. He has used relevant examples from past experience to make the course interesting. If you want an A, just go to class, listen well and study the slides. The exams are very fair.

Very interesting to listen to, as he brings in current and relevant examples to give context to the different aspects of IT. Takes the time to get to know all of our names; something not often seen in university. Tests are fair (gives hints during lectures). Overall one of my favourite courses taken at Ryerson. One of my greatest professors i ever had. He teaches class as if it is all stories, fun to listen and he makes sure you wont be bored in class. he really cares about his students. if you're taking EMS courses and was to really learn and get a good mark then take it!!.

Frank Tang is a phenomenal professor. He gives excellent examples and shows great professional insight not only in his own business ventures but within the subject matter as well. He always is able to explain the context of each example rather than a dry reading of power point slides. It was a pleasure to have a class with this man.

Dr. Tang is a great professor who makes the course very simple and straightforward. Studying from the slides is more than enough but the textbook can be helpful. Speaks at length about topics to try and make the lectures exciting and relatable. Very informative introductory course in IT - highly recommend!.

Insightful lectures with examples that help you ensure you'll understand the material for the midterm and exam. The notes on D2L are pretty good but I recommend reading the textbook as well. Lectures very easy to follow along, and the course is an easy A.
