This teacher was one of my favorite. Easy A in his class every quiz that we were suppose to have we ended up not taking it. I didn't have much homework with him and he was very helpful in answer any questions you needed answer what a wonderful teacher

The book he uses is very overwhelming if you don't know technology. He has weekly writings and a research paper at the end. He uses word count as a way to make sure the paper is long enough and WILL count you off if he thinks you're under. Not good.

He is a excellent teacher. I would recommend him to anyone. He is also very funny. If I came to class and was upset about something, he would always tell a joke or something to the class and I was cheered up. He teaches you alot. Take him.

He was so awesome! Not only was he funny, but also very nice and helpful. Our entire class enjoyed him and he was very down to earth!

He has a very interesting background; not a shallow teacher at all. The things he has to say about a lot of things are very interesting, even when they don't really pertain to class. He's very laid-back, and I remember having a lot of fun in his class.

Easy teacher for an english class. All you had to do were 1 short weekly papers and a research paper spread out throughout the semester. Class is always let out early.

Easy teacher. Very unorganized and looses papers a lot, but a cool guy. He is very nerdy and into the whole cyberspace thing but he's a very interesting guy. Also he says Ladies and Gentlemen like 10 times a minute. No really we counted.

Not very good if you don't already have a pretty strong background in english. His pet peeve is bad grammer, punctuation, and spelling. Talks a lot about current events. All the papers are cyberspace based, but they are short. Nice guy. I had a good time. I would recommend him.

Ladies and Gentleman, This guy is one of a kind! You really couldn't ask for a better teacher. Everyday is interesting and you usually leave a half hour early with a smile on your face! I recommend this teacher to everyone.

He is one of my favorite teachers he keeps everything fun and i look forward to going to school in the morning to have his class. plus i dont have time to watch the news and in the morning we always get caught up on the news for the first ten minutes of class i highly recommend this teacher!

Franks class was great. He made me want to attend class. I really learned alot from his class this semester. He enjoys teaching and does a good job at it. He wasn't a boring teacher that makes you sit and listen to him lecture all morning. He likes to interact with his students and work together so everybody understands. Highly recommended. :)

You the Man Frank, Made English interesting

Mr.Yurgen class is very interesting he makes it fun and very easy to pass. Not any tests or quizzez but about two throuhout the entire semester. If don't take him for English your crazy

This guy is a bit left of center, but at least he is interesting. He voices his radical opinions quite a bit, but he also welcomes yours. I don't think I have learned much, but it is a fairly interesting class and it is realitivly easy.

Frank is a great teacher, most definately take him if you can! He is not boring like some english professors and the work isnt outrageous or anything, and you get out early almost ALWAYS! take him!

This teacher was a breeze. He graded very fairly and if anything too easy. He was awsome and class discussions were fun. Just hand in the homework and its an easy A. Nice guy too.

yurgens was one of my best teachers, i always enjoyed attenting class, he made english fun and interesting. it was also amusing listening to his opinions on politics.

AMAZING! I took ENG 112 as an online summer course and while Cyber Space is not the most interesting topic Professor Yurgens was amazing!

At first he can seem a bit "out there". But all in all he is very good. He does spend a lot of time talking about random thing such as politics and the youtube. As for giving work he is very easy. The tests are easy too. He is so funny. I love how he relates things to what we are studying. An easy A if you do the journals and do well on tests.

This teacher is the bomb. Frank gives you all the homework right off the bat, and it is up to you to get it done before the class is over. He offers extra credit as well. Honestly, TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Mr. Yurgens is very nice. Hardly uses the book. Homework is easy and doesn't really matter when you turn it in. He's an interesting man and some people wouldn't like his opinions. If your not open to other peoples opinions..don't take this class. For the people who are telling you to STAY AWAY,don't listen to them. He's very easy going!

Took him for INET class. I thought it was easy. He checks for length and MLA citations and that seemed to be about it. Don't buy the book though I didn't use it once, you can find all info you need online about MLA style.

Very interesting teacher. Nice, funny guy. Easy class. Got out early. Journals every week and essays every 3 weeks. Little to no book work.

Frank is a great teacher if you can deal with his political rants. Those who are more open minded will enjoy his company. Very easy going, and gives help if you need it. I will take his courses in the future if offered.

Just wanted to add that he gave me a C because he lost half of my homework. I am not the only one this happened to either. -_- And we did not use our books once.

Listen up Frank is a great teacher. Laugh at his jokes and write a decent paper you get an A. Weekly journals but he is a cool teacher. CRAZY! but super cool. dont buy his text book!! If he likes your whole class then he will be easy and let you out early.

Great guy, intimidating at first but very easy going. If you don't understand, ask. A little unorganized but papers are easy to write. Wouldn't suggest not socializing with him, hes a talker. He definitely keeps your attention. He isn't always on topic, but he always has something to say and he brings up very interesting topics of discussion. We wrote quite a few papers but they weren't hard if you read the material and it was easy to get a good grade.

Frank is one of the best professors I have taken at Delta. I took both ENG 111 and 112 with him, and I am glad I did. There are interesting discussions, he will teach you proper grammar, and you can choose what to do your research paper on. I suggest you take Yurgens for English classes.

This guys is great! If you have questions, ask! He will never make you feel stupid for doing so. Keep asking till you understand, that is what he wants. It was easily understood what was needed of you, and the work was not difficult, but not boring either. I would definitely try to get him again for additional English classes. Very down-to-earth.

He is GREAT!! very easy class just write 4 papers. Take him especially for someone who just needs to retake this class for a better grade.

Yurgens is a great. You will do weekly in-class writings but there really is no length requirement, it's just write about this topic for an hour or so, super easy. Then you just have the four main assignments. If you show up and do your work you should pass easily. This Prof. is laid back and funny, just don't take advantage of him & you'll do fine

I took the ENG 111 condensed online course with Yurgens. At first I had some issues understanding assignments, but emailed him and he extended the due dates. There was only three papers, three peer responses, and launchpad. All papers were 4 pages. A very easy class to get a A in if you follow requirements. He is also very nice and understanding.

He's kind of unorganized, but he is by far one of my favorite teachers. He is really funny, and doesn't make the class difficult. The work load wasn't to bad, and if you did it you would be fine. If you actually want to learn a lot about writing then he probably isn't for you, but if you just want to have a fun English class then he's the one.

He is a very laid back guy. He sits down with each student and individually talks with them about their drafts, which is nice to get one on one feedback. If you show up to class and do all of the papers , I guarantee you that you will get an A. Easiest grading professor I have had. He likes to talk a little politics, if that upsets you.

He assigns a lot of papers and activities throughout the semester. However, basically if you turn them in, youll do fine. He spends most days talking about politics so if you dont like that, Id stay away. The rest of the time he spends talking about cyberspace. He assigns what seems like a lot of filler work but its not difficult.

Frank is a so easy. You won't have a problem with him. I did the work, and got an A. Left class early every time and wasn't a big deal. There are NO Quizes, Tests, or Exams!! Just papers. You had a week or 2 for each one. If you want to learn English then this isn't for you. However, if you want an easy A and not have much homework then he's good.

Professor Yurgens is very laid back and likes to have conversations. Find peers that give constructive feedback instead of just saying 'it's good'. I suggest modeling your papers accordingly in this class and understanding that you are both writing to improve and to get a decent grade. Feedback was great and I suggest using the grammar handbook.

Professor Yurgens has a relaxed teaching style, but providing constructive feedback is key. I found the grammar handbook and Unstuck ai super helpful for prepping assignments. Overall, an easy class if you stay on top of the papers.
