Best Speech professor in QCC. Makes you laugh in class with his stories. He actually gives out a lot of positive advice to students to encourage them that they have the ability to do better. I would recommend Prof. Frak to anyone that needs to take Speech.

He is a great guy! Just be prepared for his class and you'll be fine. Presentations are fun but get really hard as the semester progresses. DO NOT GO ON YOUR PHONE he will call you out in class. He's a really good professor. He gives you good feedback and things you need to work on for your next presentation. Not your typical teacher, he can relate to his student which is really helpful. About 3 quizzes, 3 presentations and a final. Overall class is really helpful.

This dude is crazy! In a good way... Presentations are fairly simple, just have to find a topic and format it according to his outline. Lectures are a joy to listen to, and the tests are incredibly simple. I could go on and on about this class, but its better for you to experience it yourself.

Very funny professor! Makes class more fun and can connect to the students. Easy grader, outlines are fill in the blank. Quizzes are reviewed before he gives them out so you basically go over the answers before taking it. Awesome professor!!

I dreaded taking speech class because who likes public speaking? But Professor Frank made the class really enjoyable. He is hilarious and very clear about what is expected from you. As long as you pay attention and prepare your speeches the way he explained, easy A. And he gives you a very detailed syllabus so you are prepared for everything.

Follow his lead and you'll be fine. He cares about his students. Sometimes it's tough love in the classroom but not many other professors care to do so. Dont' fall behind on the projects. DON'T be late and DON'T use your phone for a second. He knows! And he'll call you out! LOL! But he's one of the best professors I've even had.

The class was his media criticism course where you get the chance to watch many films. It was a 3 hour class but it went by so quick bc it was actually enjoyable. You have about 4 papers to write since it is writing intensive but they're pretty easy only about 3 pgs and he gives you rewrites! Just don't be on your phone he will cause a scene!

He actually helped improve my speeches! If you ever need someone to help you with speaking skills, he is the one to go to. Absolutely hilarious, which makes the class enjoyable. That being said, prepare to do work in this class. He gives you the same amount of effort that you give him. Respect him and he will respect you.

I took him during my freshman year and he was the best professor that I took that semester. The only drag about the class is that it was early in the morning. Although the mornings were hard, he made the class interesting and was very funny. He was very specific with what he wanted and made he gave great feedback on any work handed back.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! He is so nice, makes the class so fun, only gives a couple quizzes, helps you with outlines for all presentations before you hand it in, and always gives you feedback after every presentation so you know what to improve. At the last class he asked all of us for our feedback on his teaching, so he can keep improving the course.

So freaking funny! It was an 8 am class but let me tell you this man would have you wide awake and laughing your head off. So entertaining. He makes you work for the grade, but nothing that can't be accomplished. He really does want to see all his students do well. He's a smart man and he definitely knows what he's talking about. His energy is great and he makes you work for your grade basically. You can easily fail the course if he sees there is no effort being shown, the usual. I loved his personality and how open he was with his classmates, make sure you take good notes and participate in class and you should be just fine.

I loved Professor Frank, he is so hilarious, blunt and he is a tough grader but only because he wants to push you to do your absolute best. Follow his lead, his advice and you'll be okay. Professor Zagottis was one of my favorite classes this semester. If he sees that youre putting the effort into his class he will try to help you pass. Hes an overall great guy. He immediately creates an atmosphere in the class that makes everyone want to participate.

He's really funny and helpful. All you need to do is follow his outline and put words in it and say them aloud to the class. That's it. He literally advises you on everything and what to do. He creates such a nice atmosphere with the students in his class. Also, his stories will never bore you. Thanks prof. Frank I can speak up a bit better now.

TRUST me when I say he's a good prof. He can be intimidating but the class is not rocket science. He's also just a chill person

Makes the class a comfortable environment for people with social anxiety. Although you will have to speak, he doesnt make it feel forced. As the semester goes on work will feel more tedious and a bit harder but he hosts workshop days to go over what you have. Pretty funny prof. Hes very energetic especially when hes had his coffee.

The best professor I have ever had. He really cares about his students and tries to make the lectures very clear, and goes straight to the point. At first, I didn't want to take the class because I thought it would be difficult since I'm an introvert. However, I decided to give it a try, and I don't regret it.

Professor Z is one of the best professors i've ever taken. He made the class easy and did his best to make us feel comfortable for public speaking. Extremely easy to reach outside of class.

My review is nothing but the truth. if you want pass the class I have two words for you Time and Commitment, If you're will to put the time and commitment yourself, you should be golden. If you show that you're will to do the work it you're more likely to get a higher grade.

The worst thing about this class was that it was tough getting in touch with the prof over email (not a big issue). Overall hes very caring! Literally "holds your hand" throughout the course. Public speaking would be very difficult class without Prof Frank. He's very motivational. He is very clear about the assignments. Everything is done in drafts. An introductory speech, short informative speech(3min), a long informative speech(6min) and a persuasive speech(7min) with one quiz is the complete course. If you do your part, its an easy A

He is a truly genuine, understanding, empathetic professor. I had been out of school for over 10 years, lots of anxiety on public speaking. He makes you feel comfortable, gives great feedback, and helps you pass! Its a lot of work, research, and practice however he guides you through it all.

I took this class in the spring online. He is very specific on how to do well in his class. There are 3 big projects and maybe a test/quiz. If you complete what he asks, participate, and focus it is an easy A! I suggest taking him.

This class was amazing to take. It was fun and enjoyable. If you do all your work and participate in class it is an easy A. Obviously you have to try on your assignments. If you are confused about anything or need to contact him, he's very easy to contact and he is very flexible with everyone's schedule. One of the best professors Ive had.

He definitely gives out a lot of papers but thats because his classes for the most part are writing intensive. Since I like writing it wasnt that much of a struggle. But he definitely grades harsh in papers. I recommend going to the writing center. He is Hilarious during his lectures. But if you have any issues talk to him he is very helpful.

Prof. Frank is a delight! Though I only had his lectures online, they're well thought out and well-paced. It is apparent that this professor goes above and beyond when it comes to explaining the subject matter and course material and having multiple office hours. It's impossible to fail Professor Zagottis's class if you just follow his instructions, which are very clear. I have anxiety issues, so I was very nervous about this speech class. Professor Zagottis did an amazing job making everyone feel comfortable about speaking publicly. If I have to give the professor a grade, I would give him A+. He's a gem.

I was scared since this would be my first public speaking course and I didn't know how the class would be but he was so fun and caring. Best professor for intensive writing course

In this class, you get what you give. Genuine effort, responsibility, accountability, consistency and clear communication are essential. Also, the content of Professor's character enhance the presentation and digestibility of course content. Rarely have I experienced a balanced blend of entertainment and education within a classroom environment.

Took him for my winter semester fully online and he's amazing. I was scared through a speech class and he kinda looks intimidating but he's actually really sweet I loved his class, he made the class fun. Yeah, there was a lot of writing and presenting but I prefer to have his class online than in person. He gave me my first A, I love him.

Prof. Zagottis does a great job in keeping the class participating and engaged in lectures throughout the semester. He has a upbeat and informative teaching style which makes up for the large amounts of material you will cover in FMP246.Stern on attendance and essays but gives clear in depth feedback and is very receptive to students questions.

This might be the best teacher ive ever had. he reads the draft of your paper with you so you can improve to for the final grade. he gives more than enough material in order to complete the assignments. while attendance is mandatory he does do excused absences I think three times. amazing teacher I hope I can take him again another semester.
