he's hard but teaches well, dont ask too too too many questions or he might bite your head off, but other then that he's really really good.

One of the best teachers Ive ever had. I go to a regular college now and none of my current professors can hold a candle to Dr. Frasinel. Nice guy, entertaing, good tests.

A great teacher IF you're serious about your work. Entertaining and knows his stuff, but he also knows who's putting in an effort and who is not! I already have a BS degree from years ago, and he is one of the best profs I've ever had.

He is a great professor. He pushes students to do their best. He is very helpful in every aspect. He is very jolly, makes coming 2 class fun! He is truly a jem of a professor. Take it with him!

Do not take his class unless you are very serious and willing to work hard. If you are, then he is wonderful, serious, caring, and yes, hard. But you will learn things inside and out. Teaches at a very high level to make sure you understand the material.

He is always there to help you, IF you ask for it. Dr. Frasinel is probably one of the best professors i've ever had. He is hard, but fair. I highly recommend him. "EVEN MY FISH KNOWS THAT!"

He is helpful teacher but the subject is very difficult. He tries to help students out by giving extra credit cross word puzzles.

Very good professor, he makes the class interesting and fun. Study your ass off, tests are tough, but he is fair, he knows who is putting in the effort. You will learn a great deal in this class.

Hilarious and fun class to go to. If you're overly sensitive, over-the-top PC or flat out lazy then take someone easy and boring. This class made me want to learn, and I did. VERY helpful, answered questions cheerfully, lecture with handouts, overheads, practice tests. I feel well prepared. Bonjour!

YOU'RE AN IDIOT IF YOU CAN'T PASS THIS CLASS! Not only does he make a hard class a little easier and more fun, but he explains things clearly & several times, he's funny, makes lots of handouts for us, uses colorful analogies to help us remember things, his labs are fun, and he cares enough to make things interesting. What more could you want?

Dr. Frasinel has been very helpful. His knowlege of the material is above and beyond any other professor I have had at NOVACC. In addition, Dr. Frasinel, has a very good sense of humor. For the first time I can easily say that my class is not boring. I would definitely chooce Dr. Frasinel again if he were to teach any other NAS class.

He's very helpful, as long as your doing your job as a student you'll pass his class, but IF you are LAZY as HELL then don't even try to take any science class.... BE FAIR for those PROFESSOR who works HARD!

He is a nice professor. He has a good sense of humor. he can be very helpful. The materials are hard though. cant get a good grade if you dont do what you supposed to do. recommend!!!

Dr. Frasinel is a very helpful teacher. If u pay attention to his lectures, and take good notes exactly what he wants you to , then you are good to go. For labs he goes in so much deatils, and so clear. recommend him!!!

Have to have a sense of humor to be in his class and not get pissed. he makes a lot of jokes about everything. funny & nice if you do well. a lot of extra credit that helps for a good grade. He knows his info but tests on some things never gone over in class and have to find some info online.

Frasinel is an awesome teacher! Yea, his jokes are lame sometimes but you have to admit that it makes you remember stuff. If you're complaining about how hard this class is or what a bad teacher he is...well maybe...just maybe... you should look into a different major and a new profession. "Even my fish knows that!"

He will help students that actually attends his lecture & lab. His tests are easy and he tells you what you need to study & focus on. Jokes around with the class but he means no harm. DO NOT TAKE if you are not willing to put any effort in his class and if you don't have a sense of humor.

Be ready to work. The man was brilliant, obviously well versed at his craft. His jokes are very tongue and cheek, so have a sense of humor when you show up for the course, otherwise you're going to be one of the people who got offended and were laughed at by the rest of the class. This is the class you want if you're a serious student.

GREAT TEACHER! Show up for class & you will do well. I've learned ALOT from him. YOU HAVE TO COME TO LECTURE & PUT ALOT OF EFFORT to get an A, but he is VERY helpful for those students that are willing to learn.

I've had this professor for 161 & 162. He teaches well, you just have to pay close attention to what materials are being taught in class. He makes crazy jokes sometimes, but that's what makes the class seem less "boring". He's very helpful, but you need to ASK for help...& he gives crosswords with exams as extra credit on your tests. Good teacher!

Difficult but very good teacher. Attendance is a must. He will make jokes at the expense of students but it is not insulting. He is a great teacher and I look forward to having 162 with him in the fall.

Additionally, he is always available BEFORE AND AFTER class for hours if help is ever needed.

I had Frasinell for 161 & 162.Both classes were hell. A lot of hard work.He is not PC which is refreshing in todays world. Attend class, participate, and work hard, you will do well.

Very helpful and fair teacher. Really cares about the subject and wants students to do well. Offers lots of extra credit and is crystal clear about what will be on the test. If you are willing to work and study you will do very well with this professor.

He called us his little chickadees--"coo, coo". I liked that. His accent lends to some different pronounciations. His comedy isn't PC--he's an equal opportunity insulter. Uses older, but still good material combined with new. He's a paper guy, not a computer guy. Very helpful in lab--gets out of his seat and moves around showing you things.

He know what he is talking about and makes jokes using the subject matter so that we don't fall asleep and to help the info stick. Very helpful in and outside of class as long as you are willing to work. Attend class and take notes and you will do well. I look forward to his class and will take 162 with him.

Very helpful and will use his own time to held study sessions for ones who needs help. DON'T SKIP HIS CLASS! He will not tolerate skipping. He is by far the best professor I ever had. He is very good at what he is doing and is very eager to pass on the knowledge to. He does jokes alot, and it is not for everyone. But it didn't bother me.

Yes, do NOT skip his class. His class is very hard and requires serious concentration, but at the end you will get a lot out of it. Like what previous reviewers has said, "If you can't pass his class, then maybe you shouldn't be studying in Nursing at all."

Frasinel is one of the best professors I have ever had. I will remember him always, and I fully intend on using him as a resource in the future. I definitely was not the best grade in the class, but he still saw my potential and helped me to achieve it. Take his class and study hard you won't regret it. He gives you all the notes you need.

Dr. Frasinel is an amazing professor. I have never understood classroom material as well as I do in this class. Dr. Frasinel is just plain brilliant-knowledgeable and teaching style is great for eager students. Promotes participation, and stays after at learning center to help anyone that asks. RECOMMEND HIM! PLus he's very funny!

He is the best NAS teacher that i ever had!!!! Best! He stays after to help you at the student learning center and for those visual learners take him! You'll love how he'll point out all the systems and easily how to remember them..you wont ever fall asleep in his class because of his jokes :)

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. He is extremely hard but truly cares about his students. He says it is not his job to babysit students but works with them if they come to class. He is VERY descriptive and will repeat over and over again for you. He also does not take back talk, that's why people don't like him. HE IS AMAZING!

Here's the deal. Approximately 50 percent of students who are aspiring nurses across US fail anatomy physiology. If you want to be a nurse, take Frasinel. He will give you notes upon notes, and repeats the material so much that if you're paying attention read NOT ON FACEBOOK DURING CLASS, you can't help but have the material stick to you.

He is the best BIO professor i have taken at NOVA. People wrote bad comments of course if you dont study you will fail. I went to learning center and review what he said about notes and online practice exam and i pass his class with B. I would prefer to take class with him again.
