Not to bad of a teacher, really helpful. This class is difficult his tests don't really resemble what is in the book. A lot of analytical thinking involved. I would recomend taking a different teacher if you want an A. Almost impossible to get an A, work hard if you want one.

Abraham demands a lot out of you, so if you don't like to work hard and study this probably isnt one for you and you will probably end up in the lower half of the class. Attendance is mandatory to receive high grade. Reading the book helps. I recommend the study guide. 9 quizzes, all multiple choice, a comprehensive final, and attendance quizzes.

Hardest Macroeconomics professor, but the best. He is the Department head of Economics- he knows what he is talking about. Very funny, lots of quizes. READ THE BOOK, but the study guide is not too helpful. Take good notes and rewatch the lectures. It's just a hard subject!

I'm an international student,English isnt my 2nd language. Hard class, but fun, I like his jokes. 9 or 10 tests, cant remeber, 20 multi. choice Qs.Pretty tough. Qs are all from his lecture, if u want a good grade, I strongly recommand u attend class, take good notes and/or watch his videos at library. Focus on Graphes, u'll be fine. I got A.

Unless you give 24-7 to the study of Econ don't expect anything easy in this class. Test's are extremely difficult. Study hard for a C!

Abraham is by far the best Macro teacher. Tests are very difficult but since he grades on a curve it will help a lot. Strictly test based grading but its a must to show up for class. If you plan on missing a couple days then you're screwed.

Abraham is an awesome macro professor! He knows his stuff and will take the time to make sure he answers questions. The tests are hard and you should plan to study often. Macroecon is very complex but Abraham is the best person to teach the class.

Excellent professor! Make sure to attend class on days that many people skip (around Halloween, Thanksgiving Break, etc.) as he gives easy free point pop quizzes on days when the room doesn't look very full. He does a great job of preparing students for tests as well.

Highly recommend! Nine 20 question M.C. tests and a 40 M.C. cumulative final. Buy the study guide, it really helps. Also, he grades on a curve that will only help you, not hurt you. It's a tough class but enjoyable with F. Abraham. He is the head of the Econ department but loves teaching Intro to Macro. TAKE ABRAHAM!

He's a great professor who actually makes macro interesting. His lectures seem to go by very quickly and are enjoyable. His tests are difficult, so you will have to put in some time outside of class but overall, it's not too bad. No assignments, 9 tests, a comprehensive final, and random "pop quizzes" that are just free points.

Abraham is HILARIOUS! He kind of looks like the Monopoly guy. In Macro he gives short tests(20 questions) once a week rather than huge tests every few weeks which makes it easier to do well on the tests. He drops your 3 lowest test scores. Abraham is a very knowledgeable and kind professor.

If you attend class and take good notes and do the study guide problems that will help. If you struggle with this class watch the video he takes of class. Prof Abraham was hilarious during lecture and he likes to joke around. There were 9 tests and then the final. The final was cumulative and required TONS of studying. He curves every test and drops the worst score of all the tests before the final. If you pass the final, you pass the class. Overall great professor and fun class! Would recommend!

His tests have twenty questions and they are very tough. If you skip class on a Friday where everyone else decides to skip class he'll take attendance. You have to read the book and take notes to understand what he talks about in the lectures as well. The class size is huge and it's terrifying for a first year student.
