This professor is awesome i took both of his classes and you have one test in each class that are take home tests, takes attendence at end of class, If you want to learn and not read a lot take him..............

He is an awesome history teacher. History can be boring, but he does his best. Brings in artifacts, dresses up, talks like. . .to much to mention. DEFINATELY take his class. DONT PASS THE OPPORTUNITY!

This guy is truly awesome and a complete genius.

This guy is awesome! He just stands in the front of the class and talks about history, doesn't even need a book. There is a midterm and final, but when i took him, he waved the final a week before we had to take it.

He is the greatest teacher of all time. You never have to open a book, or even stay awake in class. As long as u copy the notes he writes on the board (for the first half of the semester) u will get an A. He ALWAYS waives the final.

Cutest little old man ever..he's very easy- as long as you get an A on the midterm and dont miss more than 2 or 3 classes you dont have to take the final. No hw, no tests, no classwork.

GREAT teacher! Very entertaining...made history fun, eventhough I have always HATED history. That semester I was taking research writing and I did a paper on the Salem Witch Trials...we needed an interview, so he took time out and allowed me to use him!

I love this guy! He's one of the best professors ive had @ Brookdale. I never thought id know so much about the wives of Henry the 8th! Very Easy, no need to buy the book, doesnt go by it. IT's hard NOT to get an A. Awesome class!!

hes the man. he actually makes history interesting. he drags on a little bit towards the end of the class, but he has a take home midterm, and if you get an A you don't have to take the final...awesome teacher

This guy is the best! You will never find another proffessor like him. He is an easy teacher and so is the course. He is funny,nice and such a sweet guy. You'll have a blast i wouldn't take anyone else but him!!

I was never interested in history, but Fred makes it easy to learn, and makes you want to learn more---even on your own time! This guy is truly one of the best instructors at Brookdale!!

MR FRED FREDDRICO WAS ONE OF THE BEST HISTORY TEACHER I EVER HAD IN HIS CLASS WE TOL TAKE HOME MIDTERMS AND FINALS. I REALLY RECOMED HIM FOR ANY STUDENTS INTERSTED IN TAKING HISTORY 15 AND 136.

I had him for 3 history courses at Brookdale and he was awesome.....best history teacher I ever had. He knows his stuff (all the way down to where baseball started and with what towns, he gave a whole lecture on it) and he's so nice too. Take good notes and you will certainly succeed in his classes.

Definitely one of the best teachers i ever had. I have a hard time paying attention at 8:30 in the morning but i couldnt not listen to him, he kept you so interested the entire time, he really knows his information too, he's not a teacher that wastes your time.

what can i say, the guy is the best! I took him for hist 135 and now im taking him for 136, he is hilarious, you will love him, easy A

Great Guy...EASY class! It gets boring but he's about 70 years old and cracks cute old man jokes whenever he can. Take home Midterm, and a book review(he marks which ones came out in movie) Take notes on everything he says & you'll get an A+++++++! Def take him if you can!

Fred is an amazing example of what a professor should be. He is a wealth of information and lectures in a story format which rocks and makes it so interesting. He's so funny, and my mother had him as a history teacher in 7th grade! He used to teach middle school way back in the 60s. Awesome Awesome prof...His class is one not to be missed!!

Wonderful professor!! Before this class, I never cared about the Civil War. It was an 8:00 class and he still managed to hold my attention. Excellent storyteller and extremely knowledgable in American history. Absolutely take him. If I didn't transfer to another school, I would definitely take him again.

Fraterrigo is amazing. "I'm a walking history book"- that's what he told us the first day of class and it's 100% true. He has a joke every step of the way no matter the topic. I don't need to take another history class but I would love to take another just to have him. I just finished his class today, and I was a little sad. FRAT is the bestttttttt

I think he's great. the class is easy take home midterm and final unless you get an A. He also makes the class fun, he gets so into the stuff hes talking about and overall a great guy. Plus he is very knowledgeable you can learn alot plus get an A!!!!

OMG I agree with whoever said the History at MU is just not the same as BCC! Fraterrigo is my favorite professor ever! Took him for 3 History classes and loved every single one. He is the most sincere professor who cares about his students and when he lectures you feel like you are back in the time period he is talking about. BEST PROFESSOR!!!!!

This is my favorite professor at Brookdale. He is the nicest man and honestly teaches as if he were re living the lesson. Amazing man and easy easy class as long as you attend(allowed to miss 3 classes). If my major required more history I would take him every semester!!!

Mr. Fraterrigo has found his calling. Before taking his class I had little interest in history, but his passion for the subject, in combination with his storytelling ability, has made a history fan out of me. His enthusiasm for the material was contagious & made me want to attend class and learn all I could. He is a sweet man and an asset to BCC.

If you have the chance take this class. He is by far the best teacher at BCC. He makes the most boring & confusing subjects interesting, fun and understandable. Take home midterm, take home final and 2 film or book reviews is all the HW we have over the whole semister and I never opended my book once. I LOVED this class! He is an AMAZING teacher!

Mr. Fraterrigo is an amazing teacher. Knows a lot about history, his class is a lecture, but he explains events to you and it makes you feel like your there. He's a great helpful guy, funny too. I would pick no one else to teach me history.

Prof. Frat is awesome. He def. knows his stuff. He draws maps of places from memory, to a tee. Def. one of the coolest teachers ever. He teaches history as if he was there. Learned a lot from him. He brings in a real musket and shows how long it took to reload it in battle. Great teacher VERY intriguing and funny, takin him again for civil war! :)

I've taken two of his classes. He is the nicest, sweetest man. He gives a take home midterm and you need to do a book review and movie review. If you do your work and miss less than three classes you'll get an A. He is very passionate about history and he doesn't even use notes. He was interesting and you can't help but like him!

Professor Fraterrigo is a very kind and patient man. He has a genuine passion for teaching and history. This class is extremely easy. However, he can be very boring. I also find that he dumbs down the material a lot. The class is far from challenging.

Best history professor at BCC. He stands in front of the class and talks for 2 hours without notes, but they are INTERESTING stories. One midterm and two book/movie reviews and that is all. There is no way to get a grade other than A in this class. Cannot recommend anyone more highly than him.

Literally the best teacher I've ever had through out all of my schooling. The class is so easy. It's literally impossible to fail. Just show up, do a mid term and write about 2 movies. I go to a four year school now and id do ANYTHING to have him again. He is amazing! I woul recommend him to anyone, major or not. He is so easy, and so cute! I miss him so much! Best teacher I have EVER had.

Passionate about his subject matter(US Civil War), intelligent couple with wry humor best describe him. Clearly he would have been the tribal bard who recited the epic poems. His presentation and discussions are balanced and scholarly. Don't buy the book, all you need to do is attend and listen and count yourself fortunate to have him.

Prof. Fraterrigo is the man! There's no weekly homework, just the midterm and the final, which are movie reviews (or you can do a book review). So just take notes in class and you should be good.

I had him for US History and it was incredible. He taught with such passion that it made you pay attention and look forward to his lectures. though it was not difficult, the majority of your grade is based on two movie reviews, I learned more in his history class than any other! He was a joy to have as a professor and you dont need the text book!

I took his class for 135 and i am finishing 136. he is the best history teacher ever. easy assignments and ends the semester a week early and you always get out of class early. he is interesting and loves history.

Professor Fratteriggo is awesome and is funny. All you have in this class is a take-home midterm which is a super joke and is easy and 2 movie reviews. I learned more from him than any history teacher I have ever had with no textbook! Take this man he rocks!
