His course is not easy, but he keeps you interested. Exams are from his lecture. He is an excellent professor.

i took prof. malamet in fall 2004. he was very easy to understand, just take down his notes which he puts on the board before you get to the class, at exam time study the class notes which is the test itself. a good guy.

He is a nice guy & it's 2 bad he only teach psy 11. Overall if u take this class you'll pass. But if u want a A it's all up 2 u. STUDY THE NOTES!!!!!!!

He's a nice friendly guy and speaks to the class in a very personal manner and tries to tell stories relating to the material. He gives you all the notes before the chapter and all you have to do is make little additions and study. Tests can be difficult so study!!! but otherwise theres nothing else to worry about.

I liked him a lot, he's pretty clear on what is going to be on his tests and all you really need to do to do well in the class is read the text book and follow the outlines that he gives you... i had him for psych in the winter session and i didnt study all that much i just read what he told us to and i got no less than an 85 on every test.

He's very nice, sometimes boring, but he sure knows what he's talking about, no term paper only 5 exams and lowest grade is dropped, try not to come late to his class (He doesn't like that)

Very boring, hard to sit in class without thinking about something else. Doesn't give hw, or projects. Only grades you on tests. Don't take him...BORING!!! I regret it alotttt!!!

All you have to do is read and learn his notes that he gives you. You dont need to buy the book. All the exams are on the info in the notes. Dont read the dumb comments from those who say this class is so hard, they probably cant read the notes. This class is a piece of cake. EASY.

this is a class where you have to study.. he give no projects, papers or homework only test count so study! he gives out notes they are very useful for the test if you get the textbook the guide it comes with that has multiple choice questions will help you even more! he drops the lowest test grade he was a pretty good professor

Very easy going professor. Hands out notes from which you have to study for tests. Gives no hw's or projects. Tests are relatively easy (if you spend 10 mins studying). Final counts as a regular test. Good overall knowledge of the subject. If you go over your absence limit you can probably get away with it if you talk to him. Overall awesome.

Whoever gave him a bad rating most likely didn't go to class nor passed his tests. His tests are moderately hard. It's frigging college, get over it! If not, go back to high school if you can't handle work from a 2-year community college. He's really quirky and flexible with office hours. No textbook needed. Tests based on noted he gives.

Malamet is a really great professor. He gives five tests and a final and drops the lowest grade of the five exams. All tests are based upon the handouts he gives in class,so just study and you will be fine.

Professor Malamet is a pretty good professor. His class basically consists of 5 tests, which are all multiple choice, and he drops the lowest. No homework. No papers. You really don't even need a textbook. Just pay attention to his lectures and take a lot of notes. He'll always let you know where you stand and what you need to do in order to pass.

Mr. Malamet is a very knowledgable professor. He explains concepts well, and gives you plenty of examples to ensure your understanding . Passing his class is relatively easy, all one has to do is actually pay attention in class, and read his lecture notes.(the text book helps,but isn't a necessity). His exams are all multiple choice and he tends to describe scenarios that you have to diagnose. If you start studying, 4-5 days in advance, there's no reason why you shouldn't pull off at least a 90

One of the greatest professors at KCC. Explains everything very well! Gives very helpful notes so that reading a book is not necessary (the book is really hard). Despite the subject is really difficult if you prepare and pay enough attention in the class you would pass it with A grade.

An absolutely incredible professor. He has a very soft and sincere way of speaking to his students, which gives the class a very calm and soothing feel. He only gives exams, therefore would suggest studying for them because they're a bit tricky. By the way, he reminds me of Santa Clause for some reason xD

You don't need the textbook for this class. He discusses everything in his lecture and gives handouts. The examples he gives during lecture will be on the exam so his reviews are important. Makes the subject very interesting though. Don't be late, it annoys him. Nice guy!!

One of the best professors for Psychology. Calm & respectful. Don't be late & don't speak while he is speaking! 5 exams, drops lowest grade & then the final, non-cumulative. I wish I could have him for other classes!

Very monotone and likes to give nothing but lectures, he makes everything loud and clear along with papers of each chapter so dont waste your money on the book just read everything he gives you! I dont feel he was fair with the grading even though he does drop the lowest grade on a test. He is very nice but dont use your phone or talk in his class!

Great professor, has some long lectures. Don't even buy the textbook I never used it. He gives out handouts that's what you really need for the tests. Don't be late, & don't use your phone it annoys him and he'll put you on blast. Just basically write down everything he says because he gives you all the answers for his tests.

He is so smart and such an amazing lecturer that I wish his lectures could be preserved forever on YOUTUBE b/c the world is really missing out. One of the greatest professors on EARTH. I've been to other universities and Prof Malamet is exceptional and kind. The way he presents the material is as a story with examples. Listening to him is like being at the movies. I wish we could record his lectures and post them on youtube b/c they should be preserved. An absolute wealth of knowledge!

I really enjoyed this class. He provides packets about each chapter. He practically sets you up to get an A, all you have to do is read the notes he prepared. His notes were very interesting and straightforward, so studying wasn't that difficult. I loved his class and would definetly recommend.

Such an amazing professor, his class is all about paying attention to the lecture since for the most part he does all the talking. All the notes are handed to you, come home, make flash cards and youre guaranteed an A for the class.

Professor Malamet is an amazing professor! His class is lecture heavy, but he does make everything clear and gives a lot of real-life examples. He only asks for you to be on time, read beforehand, and to keep your cellphones away during class. No homework, projects, papers. Just tests every 2-3 weeks

He's straight forward with everything and very clear with what he wants done and when it needs to be done. Test are super easy. Only thing that was boring is the lecture videos.

Took him asynchronously, his lectures tied everything together nicely. and then on the tests every other Friday, he quizzes on things from the notes, textbook and lecture videos. To be honest, the textbook is really optional, but if you learn from repetition, go for it. You will only have 5 tests, he'll drop the lowest grade and you'll pass!

Asynchronous class. Material and lectures directly connect to exams so as long as you go over them you will pass. Lectures are enjoyable. 5 exams plus the final but he drops the exam with the lowest grade. Exams are available from Friday morning - Saturday midnight. TAKE THIS CLASS, you don't have to go crazy to get a good grade.

I had him in Fall 2022, asynchronous class. Online exams are the only thing you need to care about, of course, you can look at your notes. He drops the lowest grade. Just go over the keywords and examples, easy to get A. The exam questions are very similar to what he talked about in the video lectures. Try your best to do well on the exams!

He will take attendance in every class. test every 2 weeks, you need to study the material and you will be fine. It is not complicated to get an A.
