hes cool and funny

This is his Marketing class. He's really cool and funny and interesting but his tests are really hard and don't really pertain to the notes. If your never absent...BAM 10 points to your avg.

HIS TEST ARE REALLY HARD. BUT HE GIVES U POINTS FOR EVERYTHING JUST GO TO MOVIES AND GET POINTS YOU WILL NEED THEM. HE IS A NICE PROFESSOR. CLASS IS NOT BORING.

For some,he's the best because you don't have to study hard.For others,he's a waste of time because they feel they didn't learn anything about marketing in the end of the semester.If you want to learn real good stuff,take Romano.

Gonna have to do the Extra Credits to get a good grade. The E.C. oppurtunities are plentiful. almost no one gets good test grades. i wonder where this guy gets his weird facts from, ask him.

His exams are hard, and even though you can make up the points by doing the extra credits, you won't learn much form his class.

He's a kool proffesor, very funny, teaches plenty (I learned a lot), he's been teachin for a while so dont even try to BS him, his test are a bit hard but you can make up wit extra credit

His down to earth. Ba 14 talks alot about what he went through & doesn't write on the broad. Do his extra credit mostly going to see movies & shows about business. Ba 77 write a log of every movie & final essay 5 papers or more.

took him for my ba 92 class(internship), the class only met 4 times, had to read the book for the final which is the only exam you'll get but your grade is mostly accounted by how well you do at the internship job.Very helpful, communicates through e-mail a lot and in some cases he will also give you his phone number. Gave me an A.

Mayerson is an awesome professor. his class is pretty interesting. Theres no way you can actually fail his class unles syou dont go. he gives y ou so many chances to boost up your garde with extra credit . The class Business Images was fun. All you do is watch movies(business related) and talk aboit them and write a paper about each movie.

Dr. Mayerson went above and beyond to help me finish my class and graduate on time. he makes a 3 hour class interesting and involved to keep your interest. it's too bad I only had him for one class.

Pricelless coarse. Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher and take this class you will not regret it. Internship is invaluable to your future career and Dr. M creates the atmosphere in wich everyone learns from each others experience. Class meets 3 times per semester the rest is in the field (only 100hrs) thats it thats all.

Professor Mayerson makes this class impossible to fail. He gives so much opportunity to be there for the students and offer them different paths to take to get an A. I enjoyed this class thoroughly and I'm glad I got the opportunity to have him as a professor. I've taken so much from it and for all the students who fail his class, I'm speechless.

Read assigned material, take notes, do DVDs, DON'T miss classes and the lowest grade you'll have B+. Helpful professor. Not an easy A you have to work a bit, but still a good professor.

He is a great professor. He is always there for his students like no other teacher at Kingsborough. Even if you are not doing well in his class you could do extra credit assigments and might get an A. His exams are only hard when you don't study the book. It is extremely important to read the required chapters and to come to class.

Dr. Mayerson is the absolute best and you will learn and leave BA14 with so much more than you expected. Lectures are interesting and informative. He is crystal clear with his expectations and willing to offer opportunities for you to enhance your grade if you fall short on exams. This is a class you will enjoy, learn, and do well in. If you're mature enough for college you're mature enough for this class. Don't act like you have no clue what he expectes from you and you'll do in his class just fine. Amazing teacher! One of the very few teachers that I have ever had that knows his stuff. This is not a joke to him, the man is all about business! Very Straight forward Professor. Mayerson is going to tell you how it is and if you mess up its your very own fault. He tells you what needs to be done and when it is due. What more do you want?

There are few professor that combine humor with strong work ethic and style and class like Mayerson does. I personally am not one who usually enjoy class of any kind but feel that with Mayerson teaching any course at a minimum he would make it entertaining enough for me to gain enough interest in the course to get a good grade.

Professor Mayerson is an excellent professor. Class is always interesting. He tells you exactly what you need to do to get an A, and even offers additional incentives for perfect attendance. For this class you are required to watch 12 movies about businesses and then write about them. This was a fun alternative to ba-92.

Just took BA 77 with Dr. Mayerson and I will be taking BA 81 with him thank you Dr. Mayerson for helping each and every one of us get through this course I loved all the movies specially the Discloser and Constant Gardener

i honestly think that was my easiest A i recieved jus from following simple directions instructed by him..easy going and very intelligent, u learn alot from mayerson and i wud definitly take any other classes that he teaches...2 thumbs and toes up...

I did well in the class, but i dont like him at all. He thinks too much of himself, and thinks he runs the college. There are alot of rumors about him, and i believe them all, if u ever get to know him personally you'll realize the kind of person he really is. Really a good person and a classy proffesor. There isn't that many out there like him. Teaches the course in a very fun, attentive, creative way and uses good examples. just read your textbook, watch the videos and write the essays on d videos, come to class everyday, do many extra credits, you will be fine. pls don't bank on him to teach you. he won't because he doesn't know or he didn't want to teach. he only teaches for 20minutes of an hour class.if a business major, u hav no choice to deal with him. good luck

Fantastic class. It will provide you with what you need to excel in the work place, and as he has been a top manager earlier in his career, Dr. Mayerson provides amazing insight. Moreover, the internship will give you an opportunity to apply at least some of his advice. Winter and Summer classes meets on Wed, perfect for weekend working students.

I took Dr. Mayerson for an internship course and enjoyed it. Because of this I took another class of which i had very little interest in. He told me about the class in further detail and provided many resources to get the work done. THIS CLASS (managerial decisions) is one of the most useful for any business major AND any serious entrepreneurs.

For this class there is a formal assignment where you have to compare how the characters overcome adversity in three films and an informal assignment where you have to answer questions on films.

The course in a mix of internship and theory. Professor helps the students who wants to mantain good grades by assaning extra work for extra points. Overall is a great professor. I took this class only because I wanted to learn from his experience and advices. I higly recommend him. One of the best professor I had in KBCC.

Professor Mayerson is great. He was very helpful and he is a great contact to keep even after graduating. He has a lot of interesting stories to tell. If you do the work and complete the internship you will pass. Must read the textbook in order to pass the final.

I took this class in the winter and we only met 4 times but it was 4 hour classes each. Don't let the 4 hours discourage you because you learn a lot. For the final it's all multiple choice and from the book so you really have to read it. The packet he makes you fill out is really helpful later on in life.

Hes very interesting with his lectures. He has an extensive portfolio of experience in the real world.He incorporates his experience into the lesson. Has an system of grading with motivates you to do your work. Everything is beneficial and all tests are weighed the same. For you to fail you either don't show up or do no work.
