A little overwhelming at first... if you study your notes word for word you'll do just fine. One of the best teachers i've had so far! And what a hottie too!

This guy is the "HOT" poster boy for Biology. I took his condensed class in the summer and he leaves nothing out. Study hard if you want to pass. But he is so cute.

i took this class over 7years ago and he is just as hot in my mind then and i m sure he is now nothing hotter than a man who knows he is hot!

I would only recomend this class for people who really enjoy and understand biology. He moves quickly, and doesn't leave one thing out. His test are all fill in the blank and essay, but if you pay attention and really study your notes you'll be OK. Only take him if you're a science, or bio major!!!

He is a great teacher. He goes above and beyond what he is supposed to teach. This will help though, if you understand the little details, you will definetly understand the broad ones. His tests are mult. choice, fill in the blank, & essay. He tells you what the essay is on. The fill in the blank are defn.terms, very easy. Dont take him if ur dumb.

good teacher, goes quite in depth, likes to draw lots of diagrams, can get boring due to lenghty explanations, don't miss class if possible he covers alot of info each class

He gives you all the notes and tests are based on his notes. Super easy if you come to class.

He's a great guy. Available to help, and explains things well. His tests are based solely on the notes, but he does use some diagrams out of the book. I had no problem keeping up with him, as did previous raters. My lecture grade was based only on 5 test scores, so be sure to bring your A game on test days.

Great teacher! i had him for bio 101 and 102! he knows his stuff. he writes all notes on board, which is helpful! tests are hard but he gives you all the material so its your respondibility to study. ALWAYS willing to help! i would take him again!

not a hard class just study the notes he give you and you will pass the class.

This guy speaks so technical. You can get lost pretty fast when you hear nuerons and protons, cycles and lipids a whole bunch of times. Not very easy. His board notes are so scattered. Test a pretty tough, multiple choice, fill in the blanks and diagrams. He could of made it easier to understand.Not recommended !!

This guy is pretty awesome professor. He really does his best. He never fails anybody. You just have to try hard on his class. He always gives extra credit towards the test and every quizes. I though I was going to fail the class because I took the online & my average was an F but after the final exam I came out with a C+ average. Its passing right

Decent teacher who tries to make analogies to connect the course content to everyday life. Took the 5 week summer course. Tough but important to stay on top of studying every day because there is a test every week. Has tangents but it helps you understand the material. Study. Go to class. Do the lab yourself so you remember it for the practical

I loved Mr. Stemple and I would definitely recommend him! I can't believe people are even saying his class is hard! He gives you all the notes and eveything that is on the tests is in those notes. You don't even need to get a book for his class. I definitely recommend him, not to mention he's not bad to look...

He could be a decent teacher if Biology was your strength; nice guy, honestly wanted students to do well, but he rambled alot during class and could be very scatterbrained.

good teacher overall. if you love bio hes the teacher for you. but if its not your topic of interest take someone else. he describes things in detail as if you are following and understand what he means. he has good intentions but hes sometimes hard to follow. really knows what hes talking about though

Took him for both 101 and 102 plus 102 lab. Great teacher,biology is not easy and neither are his test, but he gives you more than enough notes to succeed, provied you study them. Because of his clas, I know biology is what I want to do with my life.

Took him for lecture. He is a pretty great teacher. He applies BIO to every day life and also gives clear examples of its application in every day instances. Ateendance not mandatory, tests not hard. Always willing to stay after class to talk/help. Very approachable and doesn't ever get mad. I was afraid at first, but he makes BIO enjoyable.

Good teacher.. I would definitely recommend him. You have to keep up with the class and do your work but as long as you do you should get a good grade. He loves what he does and it shows. You can learn a lot from him if you try.

He definitely loves what he does and it shows. He applies biology to life, which is good. My only issue is that his lecture was quite far behind the lab schedule, which gave me difficulties in my lab. His tests are challenging, but not terrible. He gives some extra credit.

He's not that bad. I wouldn't pick him as a first choice, more of like a last resort if you didn't get a teacher that you wanted. If you pay attention, take notes, and flip through the chapters that he's covering then you should be fine for the tests. He knows what he's doing most of the time.

I had him for BIO 101 & 102 and got an a both times. He's a fair teacher and sticks to his outlines. I thought the class was easy, I never even used my book. This professor is easy on the eyes AND an easy "A"

Took online class, quizzes and exams are all online and fairly easy quizzes are about 10-15 questions exams are about 25-50 questions. pretty straight forward

Mr. Stemple rarely uses power points, but he writes everything on the board so its easier to keep up and write everything necessary down. He relates things to real life and is very thorough with his explanations. I have learned so much with him as my prof!

Could use less tangents. However, he does teach well. As long as you write down everything he writes on the board will be fine. Offers extra credit and doesn't want the student to fail.

He's a very good teacher! He shows great interest in biology and sometimes relates lessons with real life stuff. His tests are based on notes and handouts he gives you. Just study them, and you'll be fine! He gives easy extra credits that'll somewhat help your grade. And I'm glad I'm not the only who thought he was attractive!!

Teacher challenged me to think not just memorize. Good comparison of material to real world. Learned a lot.

He is a wonderful teacher. He is very kind and helpful and he actually wants his students to pass. He puts everything up on the board for you to copy down. He gives plenty of extra credit. His exams aren't difficult if you take notes and go over the chapters a little bit.

Professor Stemple is amazing! He is extremely passionate about his field and has a vast knowledge of the subject,this makes it very easy to pay attention in class. He always brings in models or diagrams to help visualize the material. As long as you study the notes and pay attention, the tests are a breeze.

He's a very caring and understanding man. I took his online Bio class and so far so good, which is not what i expected of myself as I am not scientifically inclined. Our meeting have all been virtual but he gives timely feedback through email and encourages students as they become discouraged.

This class was required before I could take Human Anatomy and Physiology 1. I recommend taking this instructor because its a fairly easy class but make sure to do all the assignments and youll be golden!

A great professor to have for when you're going into the radiography program and have to take the prereq before getting into the Bio class. He is a fair grader, very responsive in his emails, his lecture videos are very helpful. Easy exams and quizzes!

Mr. Stemple covered required material in a clear and logical way in this online course. He gave students opportunities to do well in the class. The course provided general information to prepare for next steps in science.
