He is awesome, exams are pretty easy..he tries to scare you about the final, but it wasnt so bad....I think he might lie a lot when he tells stories...but they are still interesting....def. reccommend him....

Very interesting person. Tells great stories (can't believe every one of them) and helps you out if you ask. I actually look forward to going to this class because you can argue with him and speak your mind freely. He treats you with respect.

Alot of fun, going to class was always an adventure. He has tons of stories, most sound a bit untrue, but he is entertaining anyhow! Basically pretty easy, and likes to get into discussions. Good guy!

He was the coolest teacher I ever had. I have had three classes with him and enjoyed every minute of it. Those of you who had something negative to say obviously don't understand psychology. I highly recommend him.

Oh give the guy a break!!! I agree, his exams were hard, but he KNOWS this..and takes it into consideration when grading you. His classes are fun, he tells stories that might be a bit out there, but the class is FUN. I enjoyed his crazy stories!

His class was probably my hardest class. But he knows what he is talking about and tells you stuff that you might not need to know for a test or quiz but will be able to use post-college.

i took his evening class. the classes were really fun, his stories are great whether they're true or not... the final was pretty easy, but although the other quizes and exams were all take homes, they were all long papers.

he was really good looking, i couldnt stop staring at his pants because they are so tight and show things popping out.... very cute, and this is coming from a 24 years old

I have taken him for both general and health Psych. His classes are very easy to pass as long as you read the book. He goes out of his way to help in any way possible. He is hard, but fair. I would recommend taking his classes to anyone.

I had him for General Psychology AND Health Psychology, and he's GREAT!!! In General Psych., I thought he was hard, but, in Health Psych., I was used to his stuff 'cuz I'd already had him!!! If you do stuff exactly how he wants it, you can pass!!!

I had him for the summer session. A little nuts...good stories. He knows the material and teaches it well. I would recommend him to anyone who really wants to learn something new. Two thumbs up!

Excellent teacher. Had a very unique way of teaching and had examples or personal stories for everything. I always looked forward to his classes.

Well I don't know about his capacity as a Psych. professor, however, in self defense he's great. His methods are engaging and keep one interested in the subject matter and motivated to keep on working.

Crazy man, def. a challenging course, he likes to challege u. I learned crazy amounts, plus he makes class fun. He has his quirks, but he's a cool guy-talks up his class and tries to scare u, but don't sweat it. Just study the modules, over and over again. He almost made me want to change my major to psych. Take it, its not easy tho.u actualy learn

Great class, he really is a trip. ASK HIM QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SYLIBUS! He wont always volentier information, he wants to force you to ask him questions. Dont talk during his class, bring spare copies of the sylibus for others, bring spare pens, dont expect to hand things in late. Overall he is a great teacher. (didnt have him for Psych though)

he's a very great teacher and his stories are interesting to listen to even if they aren't all real. he really makes you think about everything he teaches. all u need to do is go to him for extra help and you'll do just fine =) i didn't do so great on all his tests but just because i went for extra help, he passed me with a good grade.

I enjoyed his class, his lectures were interesting and thought provoking, he knows the subject well! His tests are more from text, but his lectures clarify them. I took maladapted psych and general psych with him. You will not breeze through his class, you need to put in effort to pass, but you learn a lot.

I took my first 3 psych classes w/ Wynn. I will forever be grateful to him for both inspiring me to enter the field of psychology, as well as providing me with a solid foundation of knowledge. I have a 4.0 GPA @ my 4 year school and was well prepared for the psych program. Thanks to Wynn, I'm applying to Psy.D programs in the fall.

I had him for General Psych. in 2001, and Health Psych. in 2003, and I loved him BOTH times. He is a GREAT professor.

He is a very nice person who wants everyone to succeed. Very interesting class and also easy. I would take him over and over if I could but he doesn't really teach many classes. Tells a lot of interesting story but he is a teacher I recommend to take if you go to county. You learn a lot from him.

I dont remember the exact number.. i had him for maladapt personality and loved every minute of it.. while he does go off on some pretty crazy and serious tangents.. hes legit and a great teacher. his experience as a drugs and narcotics agent kept class interesting to say the least I highly recomend Prf Wynn

After reading some of the other ratings I had to comment. this professor was my favorite so far at CCM. He was funny and interesting and if you actually listened to any of his stories they were pertaining to the material! I still remember everything he taught me and it has been 2 years. I highly recommend his class!

Great Proffesor! He has interesting stories from his own life, but they really helped me understand the lessons better. Be prepared to take a lot of notes which are gonna be on the final. If you do the work and put effort into it, you will pass!

He's a really awesome teacher. Got fed up with my class and the other class at the end of the semester cause we were all failing. He has office hours that he is more then willing to help you with whatever you need. there really is no need to fail his class. tells a lot of stories that tie in with what we learn. if you don't read, you WON'T pass

Wants you to read the textbook. If you don't, you're pretty much screwed, because he won't go over all the stuff in the book and it appears on the test. However, if you read the book and go to it's online test site and take the chapter quizzes, you'll ace the class. 5 tests. Tells a lot of stories of his past. Interesting fellow. Recommended.

Not sure of the actual class title-completed it in 03. I'm very surprised to read the negative comments left regarding Professor Wynn as I LOVED his class. I decided to incorporate psychology into my course of study after taking his course. Yes, he can stray away from the "teaching" and tell stories but they relate to the teaching. Excellent prof!

Professor Wynn Rocks!!! He tells you whats what from the beginning. His teachings are quite easy, all you have to do is READ the book, take notes and study your ass off. If you fail the first test, then change your study habits. Its really an interesting class. I would take it again just for fun. His examples are quite good and intriguing :D

Clarifies work well for the most part. You do a lot of work in the textbook (you teach yourself the work basically then he will clarify and group the information you need to know). IF YOU HAVE POOR STUDY HABITS AND CANNOT LEARN FROM READING I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PROFESSOR! Great professor overall and I would take another one of his courses.

I am currently enrolled in his Child Psych class. I had no interest in this class before I took it because it's required. I now have a fascination for it. He's a really excellent teacher who knows what he's talking about. I definitely recommend taking the class with him.

MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR BY FAR!He is as raw as they come, the embodiment of psycology in my opinion.wARNING, if you dont like psycology or if you are not willing to put in the hours of reading to pass his class. do not take him. However if you want a different point of view and a challengeful professor this is the guy for you.

I took Prof Wynn for Self-defense and even though I hear he is a tough psych teacher he is VERY wise. He taught me life-lessons and during a tough time in my life his words of wisdom kept me going. He told bad-ass stories and you can tell he's worked hard and been through a lot in life. He's a very wise man. Talk to him personally trust me.

He is my favorite teacher by far! You must read the textbook and show up for classes, and you learn ALOT about the material and how it relates to your life. Four tests and extra credit quizzes; follow his studying suggestions and you'll do fine. He is raw and real and alot of people don't like him but they're the ones who don't try. Def take him :)

Many students don't like him because they are lazy, don't pay attention, & don't participate in class. He uses real life examples to teach the material. You can come into class 50 min late and he won't care. But do try to get to class early, sit in the front, & participate! Although his tests are difficult, I know he takes that stuff into account!

VERY intelligent man and you will learn a lot if you pay attention. He has very insightful things to say and great real life examples. i loved his class UNTIL i got my first test back. he is a VERY HARD GRADER. Its almost impossible to get an A in his class and he knows that.

He is a very interesting professor. I took him over the summer and his class was very easy. We took a quiz ever week that was about information right from the book and worth extra credit. There were no surprised on the exams. If you read the textbook you will pass

I had him for child psychology. He is very interesting and has a lot of entertaining stories to tell. As long as you pay attention in class and study, you'll do fine.

I took Wynn for child psychology in the summer, and I actually learned a lot in his class. Hint summer class he goes easier on you. Option of essay or multiple choice :) Also a paper. Always open for help and gave me a better grade which was open to discussion. Really makes you open your mind and challenge, great teacher. Got an A :)

Basically lets the textbook teach you and you're supposed to use him as support. Tests are multiple choice. He covers 50% of what's on them in class.

I took Prof Wynn for Gen Psych and I'd take him again! He's interesting & laid-back, but you NEED to keep up with reading to understand his lectures. Three take-home tests & two in-class quizzes. You'll need to read and study hard for the final (not cumulative). Relates psych to current events which makes the material more interesting.

Most favorite prof! Interesting, funny, personable but still very professional and respectable. Teaches using stories from his own life, which is colorful and fascinating, makes the class highly compelling. Willing to explain things every which way until you understand it, even draws pictures to help. I wish everyone could take a class with him.

I enjoyed coming to his class and listening to his lectures. He relates the lectures to current events and stories that make it helpful to understand. He gives two tests and the answers are all online. The only issue I had is that he doesn't go over the criteria that much and you basically have to teach yourself the material.

Engaging and knowledgeable professor. Chose an excellent textbook with current research citations. This is how I remember college courses: read the text book, learn the material and then come to class to ask questions. Not being spoon-fed was very refreshing and I recommend the course. It was an excellent overview of the lifespan development.

I took Psy101 with prof wynn and got a B with out even trying. I never picked up the book and got Bs on all my tests. All his tests are take home so you have enough days to do them. They are all multiple choice and no papers to write in this class ! Deff recommend him.

Great teacher, very understanding. Got a B in his class. Did well on all the take home tests and final exam. As long as you participate and pay attention you'll be fine. Not sure why there is so much negative. No hw besides finding current event if you want. Gives great outline for final & goes over everything on it.
