i took this as an internet class. some of his students refered to him by his first name. easy to talk to, easy to communicate with, gives extensions, but doesnt B*** S***. great all around teacher! take his courses. he's awesome!

Freddie Rocks. Cool Teacher. Class is as fun as a Math class can be. He explains things very well. He grades very fair and is very helpful. Allot of homework is his only bad thing.

I came into this class a straight D student in math, with this teacher I got an A! The first A I've gotten in math since elementary school!

I started school this semester after 12 years and I tell you...Freddie made this class very interesting for me. He explains things very well. He is very helpful and a lot of homework? Yeah but if you do it, you'll understand everything and will pass this class. I recommend him highly!

Freddie is a great teacher that wants his students to succeed. I would reccommend him to people needing to take college algebra.

Freddie's class is as easy going as a math class can be I wouldn't want another instructor, he made the class very simple and kept math fairly interesting. He's a good teacher just participate, and do the homework and you'll pass with atleast a B

This teacher is amazing... hw is collected but not graded you automatically get 4 points for finishing it. he wants us to get in groups during class and he walks around and helps after lecture.tests are simple.the day before tells you whats to be on it. funny and energetic class i look forward tooi want to take him for 150 next but its really early

OMFG The best teach ever I had been out of high school for 5yrs and was planning on failing math but I took his class and missed getting an over "A" by 2points on my final exam. I loved his attitude and the over atmosphere of the class was fantastic I just wish I could get him for MAT 120 this semester but his is not teaching it for the spring

Great Teacher! but has flaws....his writing sucks all chickin scratch so make sure you sit up front, do the homework and pass that is basicly the class his lectures are very help ful so take notes, he is not cranky, very chill instructer. I recomened him.

I hate math so coming into this class I thought I would do horrible. I ended up with an A. I did online class so yes it was hard, you practically have to teach yourself, but Freddie was helpful when needed. I recommend him, and he notices when you are putting in your efforts. He also gives you the opportunity to raise your grades.

I would recommend this teacher to anyone going into 120. I failed this class miserably last semester and this time got a B! I am terrible at math so that is a major thing for me. He really helps you if you need it and explains everything well. If you do the homework, it really helps when test time comes. He is agreat techer in my book.

I took Freddie's online Math082 class and it was quite easy. The online application I used was amazingly simple and helpful at the same time. However when I needed help Freddie was there to help. Take this teacher if you are considering a math class!

Great instructor! DO the homework!! Extra credit available before every test. Attendance a must even if you are late most times.Explains material well and in differents ways for students to learn. Tests are easy if you do the homework and study. Give time after class to finish tests. I would definitly recommend!

He's the best math teacher I've ever had, hands down. He has an amazing ability at explaining things to people. Really nice and helpful, good sense of humor. It gets a little hard here and there, but only because the material can be challenging. But he really helps you along the way.

this teacher is simple amazing. by far the best teacher i have ever had for math. i understood everything and when i didn't he would help me out. i would recommend this teacher to everyone. make sure to bring your book everyday, and do your homework! even though it only counts for 8 % of your grade. and he gives you 10 chances to turn in late work.

He was great1 He helps you alot and is very funny. He lets you bring upto 10 hw assignments late for full credit. Hes very easy going and a flexible teacher he will help you out! He teaches pretty quick but its doable he was an awesome teacher!

Freddie is really great! He teaches you all the material you need to know and provides a lot of help in and out of class. Even when slacking off it's almost impossible to get a bad unless you just aren't coming to class. He's really laid back. Very easy class.

Freddy is a good teacher, I hadn't had a math class in a while so it took a little bit to get back into the groove, but he is always willing to answer questions. He gave extra credit options which was great. He was very clear about what was on the tests. I got my first A in math in his class!

I can honestly say that he is, hands down, the best teacher I've ever had. Math is not my best subject. I had him for Math 82, 92 and 120. I really don't think I would be graduating if it weren't for him since it was my fear of math that was keeping me from finishing my degree. Wonderful professor. Highly recommend him. Just take notes & do the hw.

Great guy. Took an online class over Winter Break. Very quick at responding to your emails. Very clear on what is expected.

It's great to have a professor that genuinely cares about the students success. Students that were going into the final with low grades were given every opportunity to get their grade up. He allowed us to turn in late homework for credit. Tries to help you succeed. Meets with each student individually, might seem boring but it shows he cares.

After failing MAT092 with another professor, I decided to back track my math courses. I took this course to get back into the groove, and was so happy I did. All work is done online, even the final (which is proctored). I liked this professor so much I've continued to take his math courses (at least the online ones).

Took during intersession, 16 weeks of math crammed into 4 weeks of school. Lot's and lot's of work to do in a very small amount of time. If you have the time and will power, I highly recommend this professor for this course. restricted notes allowed on final (proctored). LOVE this professor.

Freddie is the best math professor at MCC, this was my third time taking college algebra and after two awful professors I found Freddie. He helps you understand math and his morning math club is very beneficial. Do all the homework and go to math club and you will definitely pass. I received an A and I am average at math. Thanks Freddie!!

He's very helpful, explaings everything clear and makes math easy for you if you have questions he's open and there for you especially in his office hours, homeworks are very important in his classes and really helps your grade. If you follow up with the homeworks you don't have to worry about your grades on the tests that much.

One of the best math teachers I've ever had. I'm not very good when it comes to math, but I managed to end the semester with an A. I wouldn't consider this an "easy" class, be he explains things very well so you understand them. You MUST have this teacher.

Freddie was awesome! I am not a big math person and when coming into college for the first time I was nervous to sign up for this class. He is very understanding when it comes to situations where you might have missed a quiz. I really wanted an A to keep me 4.0 and after taking the final, he rounded up my grade so I would keep my A. Awesome dude!!!

I really enjoyed taking this course because "Freddie" really cares about his students. He really cares about his students. The final is worth 50% of your grade; so don't expect to slack on HW and then pass without actually knowing the material or you'll fail!

He does go a little fast but as long as you talk to him and ask him questions, he'll slow down. I always feel so comfortable with him, he really tries to work with you. Such a great professor! Always have homework but he gives more than enough time to finish, as well as extra credit. He's good at explaining things well and if you don't understand he'll brake it down better. Fair grading, a bit fast but if you pay attention it'll be no problem. Super nice and funny, would definitely take again!

I took his online 4 week winter session class. It was an awesome, crazy math race and you have to work everyday for at least 3-4 hours in order to pass the class. He responses to any question asap and gives good feedback. He also provides you with many details a week before the class starts.

I love Freddie! I took him for my 120 and 150 math class. He is a great teacher and really tries his best to make sure his students pass. I met with him countless times outside of class hours for help and he was always very willing to lend a hand. Definitely one of the best teachers i've ever had.

Freddie is a really funny/great teacher and is well respected but, his class is too fast paced for me. I would barely be understanding lesson 1 and he's already on lesson 4! Its hard to keep up and you need to study for at least 3-4 hours everyday. On the plus side he is mostly always available and is willing to help you anytime.

Freddy helps his students in the morning and afternoon personally, and he also goes over the homework in a well constructed way he's a great teacher.

There's a few errors in the syllabus about the nature of the class and certain tests. There's also incorrect answers listed in some of the practice homework packets. This class is super straightforward though, and he's really there as a formality if you take this class online. I didn't need him at all during the semester, but he's cool for sure.

Frederick Schineller was one of the best Math Professors at MCC. Yes, he was strict but a very clever man. Also, Frederick was an old school teacher and lots of people loved him. Rest in peace Frederick Schineller and I didn't know that you are recently passed away. I am very thankful to him for the way how he teach our math class.

Freddy Schineller was a great professor. Strict, but he was a funny, personable individual who was always game to help me during office hours. He really helped me understand the rigor that was required to do well in math and science. I'll miss the guy. Rest in peace, sir!
