I took her for math 93, and she was great. But then when i took her for 95, she was very difficult. She gives you a test review to take home, and then when you take the test none of the review questions are on there.

First of all: Her accent is not that bad, and if you do the homework and study as you are supposed to, you will do well in this class. She has a good sense of humor and is willing to help any student. Show up for class every time, and receive 20 extra credit points! This is also a professor who knows what she is teaching! Do the homework!

I found this professor very pleasant to talk too and very,very helpful...but you must do your homework, if you don't understand something just ask her, I found her very willing to help me learn until I understood the concepts...to all other students, STOP WHINNING and do the work :-)

The course is kind of fast and there is a lot of material to be learned. She teaches in a fast pace, but if you pay attention and take good notes, you'll do great. She tries to teach a more simple way to do some problems which makes solving them a lot easier. Try to miss a session because you'll easily fall behind. Overall, she's a good teacher.

A math professor who actually takes the time to point every single step out! There's plenty of homework, but it's all for your benefit. She was great to have, I felt like I could truly understand math by the way she explained her steps. Highly recommended! The 97 course is fast though, so you need to be ready to keep up with it.

I took Math 96 over the summer online. You work out of mymathlab.com not angel. Its a good program. I bought a used book and had to return it. You actually use an online book. If you're planning to take more advanced math classes after Math 96 and actually want to learn the material, then you want to take professor Nilforoushan. If you just try to pass the course without learning, it is not going to happen in her course.

I took her Math 96 Online Summer Session Class and if it would of been a different professor I would have failed. She is very thorough and lays out the class nicely with mymathlab. She clarifies what needs to be done and gives enough time to be able to accomplish it. Great teacher, also replies to you fairly quickly.

This course is moving very very fast. But it is well structured, and MML is a wonderful course management system. If you don't let yourself get behind you can do well. Prof. is also very helpful and answer your e-mails fast.

I took DE-96 summer course. Even though, the course was moving very fast, with the help of the instructor, I did well. I learned a lot in such a short summer session. Frieda goes above and beyond the call of duty to help. The course was well- organized. I love MML.

Online class. You must score 80% or higher on the homework. In order to take the test, you must have all the homework for that test completed with a score of 80% or higher. This is her way of making sure you do all of the homework. The homework is only worth 10% of total grade. You have to take the final at a testing center. No notes. Hard class.

This class is difficult. You have to do all of the homework to unlock the tests, but the homework isnt worth much. Final Exam is worth almost half of your grade and is closed book. I like taking this class online, the course compass program she uses is helpful.

Had an A through the whole semester in this class. Missed 4 questions on the final ( which weren't even close to the practice exam) and dropped to a B. Too much percent of your grade is put on 20 questions.

Online class completely by MyMathLab. No instructor interaction. They should have set up more review of concepts learned earlier in the class as it moved on. Not doing so myself hurt me on the final. She is a nice person. They do not offer this class any more. Have to take both 95 & 96 now.

Math is a hard subject for me. I currently have two options: retake class or study a bit more and take placement test. Had I been able to give this course more time, I would have pass it just fine. Professor Nilforoushan is very helpful, but it is up to the student to place time and effort. I will take the class again!

this professor is a great teacher. all of the hw is done on mylabsplus so are 4 of the tests. the final is done in class. the professor offers extra credit if you go to the math tutor lab when she is there. if you don't understand a concept she is not afraid to go back an explain it. if she makes a mistake she is not afraid to correct her mistake.

I took this math online, it was one of the best experiences I had at CSN. The teacher was very willing to help any students having trouble but it is possible to never have any contact with her. Mymathlab is a good site, there were a lot of assignments but necessary and the final was on campus but completely fair. I would love to have her again.

Online classes work best for me. I chose this teacher wo ratings and I'm glad I made a right choice. The homework was my key to success. 2 chances for each quiz and 1st and 2nd test. The class was fairly easy depending on how much one is prepared to work. The grading method relies too heavily on the big tests; maybe more emphasis on homework. The online program grades too strictly. It's easy if you don't procrastinate.

I've had this instructor for math 95 and 96. She's awesome. Her lectures are somtimes kind of boring, but other than that she's great!

Great teacher I took her online class, the homework is sometimes difficult. I liked that quizzes were to do at home. The final is at CSN, she gave us study guide 25-30 questions, the questions were similar to the one the test (not the same). I did study guide like 6 times and scored really well on the test. The test is paper and pencil.

When taking this class I thought as a math class it would be semi harder the class is actually easy. The teacher from the first day of class has the game plan of when assignments have to be due... So you have time to complete the tests and assignments due. The final exam is also very easy if you studied the material. Would recomend to take.

Took the 126 online class, 3 tests and the final is online. First two tests are online, and there's two opportunities to retake, she gives final exam review and that is taken on campus. Online homework is mandatory and is 10% of grade. Stay on top of assignments to not fall behind. She is a little strict but that is needed.

All you really need is the online code for the website. There are certain chapters you are assigned and must do the homework and quizzes. After a certain amount are complete, there is a test that is timed and has two attempts. No mandatory attendance, just complete all assignments before deadline. There is also a proctored test on campus.

She is a great teacher! She does have an accent but she is the best teacher I've had at CSN. When teaching a section, she does sometimes up to five/six examples for just one concept. She gets repetitive sometimes, but honestly I rather have that in a math teacher than for her to speed through it. She gives a chance for extra credit almost every day

Math has always been an easy subject for me. Her class is awesome because you can work ahead if you need to so that you are always on track as well as that she gives you 2 tries on the 2 tests. As well as the final is easy as long as you study the study guide. It is easy to pass the class if you do the work. Would recommend and would take again.

Wow, this professor can make math easy to understand. It was a fun class. She really cares about your learning. She spends as much time as you need in the Math Resource Center to help you with your questions. I never thought I could get a good grade in this course. But, I did!!

Prof N has clear class etiquette, don't be disrespectful. Random pop 2 question quizzes to make sure you are learning and doing homework. Worth alot of grade so show up for class! Slow class in beginning to really understand basics. Homework and test online, one test at end of session. Always available outside of class and accommodating as well.

Great online class. I've taken this class with multiple instructors and she is by far the best. Even though most of it you are on your own. Just follow they syllabus and you will do fine. She was quick to respond when I had a test issue.

Took a online class over the summer. Get ready to turn down any family time in the course of 4 weeks because lots of stuff to study. I found it easy to print everything and take a lot of notes. on mid-term and exam, your allowed to use a calculator and one front and back paper of formulas, which was very helpful.

I took her online Math 95 last semester. I took Math 96 this semester. Having taken both versions of her class, I'd say she's better in person. She is effective in her lectures and gives you short cut methods and formulas to use. Sometimes doing the homework her way was much easier. I'd like to take her class again if she teaches Math 128

Many homework assignments. The only deadline is at the end of the class. You need to learn to work on your own pace in a timely manner to stay on track.

Took Math 96 online. Class was through my math lab where you watch videos and do the homework. Even though youre basically teaching yourself, Professor Frieda was communicative via email. I passed with a C+, probably couldve passed with a A if I studied for the first test. 2 tests and 1 final but the practice guides are basically the tests.

All assignments & tests are online on MyLabMath. Homework is at your own pace but tests have due dates. DON'T SLACK! I did & BARELY passed. It is easy but don't wait until the last minute. She is very caring. If you are falling behind she sends an email telling you that you can do it & not to give up. She really believes in her students. Recommend

I gave Professor Frieda a 4 under difficulty because the amount of homework and exams were a little tough. However, I would highly recommend and take this course again because I learned so much.

She is a very nice and calm teacher. She takes her time you always can talk to her if you need help with extra problems. The class is hard bc of homework and test. You will have 30 hw assignments and 3 exams. These exams are a little tough because they really make or break your grade. She might not be the best option if you are a bad test taker.

10/10! Lectures are recorded for u to watch in case u can't go to the weekly sessions. HW, textbook, & tests all on MyMathLab that u have to purchase. Accessible outside of class & VERY understanding. She does go a bit slow but honestly it's better than going to fast. Her class is not hard if u put in the work. She could put more in the syllabus

Everything you do is in Pearson, nothing is posted in Canvas. All tests are proctored using ProctorU. Lectures are long and she expects students to attend. The work itself can be self taught if you use the help option when doing the homework. Practice tests are VERY SIMILAR to the real tests, so use it to your advantage.

She made her grading very clear. There were many homework assignments. You need to score at least an 80% in order to continue to the next assignment and the test. There are 3 tests and they count the most towards your grade. Show up to class and participate because she gives extra credit! She explains anything that your confused on. 10/10

The class is formatted so you can't move onto the next chapter unless you get at least an 80% on the previous chapters homework. You get pretests that give you the format for the test. Make sure you review the pretests and use the similar question function you should be golden.

I took this class Web-online, and it was great for students who already have a good understanding of math and can go at their own pace. 2 homework assignments each week due on Wednesday, usually take 1-3 hours to complete. Only 3 tests, about 1 a month, and a Final Exam. Practice tests are given, and if you ace those you'll do good on the tests.

Prof. Nilforoushan is very pleasant. Generally easy to get a good grade as long as you take her suggestions seriously (look at provided powerpoint/videos before she gives the lesson in order to easily follow). Homework has unlimited tries and examples and not too strict on due dates. Practice tests are the same format as the actual tests.

Very good professor, Her online class,Technical math was very organized and easy to navigate in My lab Math (the learning management system used in this course.) There were three tests and a final exam. We had two attempts on each test. I will take her again.

I e-mailed Frieda and told her about my fear of math.She talked to me, calmed me down and gave me good suggestions how to study for the course. I used her suggestions, and amazingly I started doing well on my assignments. For the first time I started not to fear math. She is such an amazing person and professor. I highly recommend her!

I attended all her math 124E remote sessions. She makes math really easy to understand. The course is hard if you miss her remote sessions. There are 3 tests and a final exam. You get a really good practice test for each one. Great professor.

I usually struggle with math but the way this course was set up set me up for success! Practice exams and the final are the exact same format as the actual exams. There is alot of homework, you dont have time to procrastinate on it or you will fall behind. Strongly recommend, easy A!

Lots of homework given, easy to fall behind if you don't keep on track. Practice tests and practice final were very similar to actual tests. Unlimited attempts on practice tests, really helped get good grades on actual tests. Easy to follow explanations on homework assignments when additional help is needed.

Lots of homework, going to the lectures is kind of necessary if you are not good at math, she does have an accent, so be prepared for that, it's not that hard to understand her thoughts if you are actively paying attention. I took Math 124e in the fall. I HATE math but she was whateveyone who hates math wants. There are 4 tests not proctored but the final you have to go in for. Each week 2 assignments and they are unlimited. She's so great and she also gives a study guide exaclty like the test's. Love her class!!!!

This class is great if you grasp math. Some people will absolutely fail in this class without someone right there for questions. She accepts emails and responses in a timely manner. You have around 6 assignments, 1 test, 8 assignments, 1 test, 8 assignments, 1 test, then the final. You WILL have to go to testing center and book WEEKS in advance.
