Goes a little fast, makes you do all the MiniTabs on your own time. Very time consuming class, easy to get frustrated with. Tests are not hard however.

She is a very nice teacher. Her tests are extreamly long and it is almost impossible to finish them. There is also a long power point presentation that you have to do in a group at the end of the year. Not a bad class but be ready to work!!!!!

I think Mrs. Lustman is a great teacher. If you do the work, act interested and come to class she is more than willing to help you.However, if you give her attitude and ask the same dumb questions over and over, she will not like you.I think she is fair.

Great Teacher. I don't know what the other people rating Lustman are talking about. She is very helpful if you ask. Very nice teacher, knows her stuff, just show up, do your work, and you will be fine.

Pretty good teacher, explains stuff so you can understand it, gives a lot of work, but everything is doable. Some of her methods for figuring out problems can be done a lot easier if you have a basic understanding of stats and a ti-83.

She is very nice. You kinda have to just know math concepts thought. She is easier for MATH 205, than MATH 251, but I would still suggest taking her.

Best math teacher I ever had. Don't need to study for exams if you pay attetnion and do all the homework. Gives homework every class but doesn't collect it all. Test are very simple. She is very clear and is always willing to help. Highly recommended

Projects suck..if you have one get it done early. She doesn't give you clear deadlines so you end up doing it at the last minute. Do homeworks and take notes and you won't need to study for your tests. Everything basically done on Minitab. She is unclear

If you pay attention in class and do the homework assingments, you'll probably do well in the class...but if you dont understand she'll help you out. very nice lady

She was an okay teacher... class got boring because I knew the stuff already. She did do an activity with M&Ms and crayons that was exciting for me. She was also really helpful when I had to miss a test because I was sick.

this class is a joke and really just a waste of time i dont know why towson makes you take it because if you passed high school geometry you already know what this class is supposed to teach you...endless amounts of busywork and only 3 tests so they cover a good amount of material on each one.

Mrs. Lustman is the sweetest lady ever. If you get on her good side, she will treat you so well and help you out so much. Whenever you need extra help she will work her schedule around you and accomodate you. Doesnt care about lateness or absences!! BEST TEACHER!! I RECOMMEND HER!!

Did you pass high school math?...then you'll pass her class. ITs a review of things you already know...read the book if you get lost but as long as you don't text ur friends all class you'll understand! Be nice to her and she is nice to you :)

Shes amazing! The nicest person ever if you actually take the time to know her. I spent a lot of time with her outside of class and she was always willing to help. She lectures pretty quickly and isnt always clear but WILL help you if you don't understand right away. you just have to give her a chance. She really is one of the nicest people I know

dont listen to what other ppl said on here. if you go to class and do the labs for stats then you will get an a in the class. 3 tests, 2 on the computer with formula sheets and everything you need. also a really helpful and nice person. take her!!

I took her for both classes and i thought she was great. I took both of the classes together and she was very helpful. in 205 you have 2 group presentations quite a bit of hw and test but its easy. in 251 its all on the computer, its easy. the only crappy thing is that she doesnt grade the work she has an old student do t which i hated.

You have to be an idiot not to get an A in this class. Not a good professor, but def. an easy A. If you passed any math in highschool, you'll be fine. She's really nice and picks favorites, so get on her goodside.

Professor Lustman is a great professor. she has a passion that most professors lack. she wants to see everyone do well, although she doesn't always explain things very clearly. she is a very nice lady! she takes a while to hand things abck though, but i would suggest her!

good teacher, explained things to the best of her ability, no final but paper instead that really is no big deal and shell help you with it. very nice lady, a lot of homework but doing it will help you! prob one of the better stat teachers there are.

Very good Stat teacher. Big project for the final at the end of the semester. I did the whole thing in one day and got an A on it. I made A's on every test with minimal studying. If you understand STAT/ MATH concepts, and can keep up with her (she talks fast), then you will do fine in this class. I highly recommend her and would take her again

Great teacher! Class is difficult but explains everything and gives you many problems to practice with. Go to the labs because all tests are on the computer. Final is a project she helps you with all semester. Best Stat teacher at towson, or teacher i have taken so far.

I have never understood anything in math until this Mrs Lustman. She has a great passion for stats because she is a researcher in her spare time. She focuses on real world applications, so you use computers to do the math, not by hand. Great if your bad at Algebra. Tests are long but partial credit. She likes meaningful ?'s. I LOVED Lustman! She is very nice and is willing to help you individually if needed. The content is really easy and not too much work. No midterm, and the final is a group powerpoint project. Take her!

She can get the lessons across. If you show up and do the homework, you're sure to ace her exams and do well. Very nice woman, however if you don't like group assignments, this may not be the class for you.

I am taking her class right now, during summer. She goes way too fast, I tell her to slow down. You must attend class or you miss a lot. Both books are required. I would find another teacher for the class. If your kinda slow at math like I am, different professor.

Biostats was interesting... use computers a lot... do the homework and you will be fine for tests... homework can take some time but nothing impossible... lustman is really nice and willing to work with students.. really interesting learning statistical analysis... project was very interesting to do.. recommend

I loved biostats! She made it so easy to understand and interesting. Her tests are long but are easy if you do the labs and understand them. I would definitely recommend professor Lustman!!!

Definitely a very well structured class. While there is more than your fair share of busy work, it still is a relatively good class. The exams are consistent with the course material. I definitely recommend this Geometry class.

Lustman is nice and pretty easy. She gives you packets on each topic as the class progresses. Homework is only turned in once the packet is finished which you gives you time to play catchup when you need to! She sometimes isn't great at slowing down so pay attention and you'll do fine. One group project, non cumulative final. Take her!

She goes by everything in class very quickly and once you fall behind its very hard to catch up. However, she is very helpful and is very lenient with the work you need to hand in. For a stat class, she isn't a bad teacher just be prepared to do a lot of work.

Not really a math person but got an A in this class! Youll have to learn MyItLab and how to work it, along with the mathematics but she does pretty well with explaining and having the 2 books is kind of helpful. 3 tests with formula sheets and a project which she basically walks you through. Dont miss class and youll do well

She is a great teacher. This class is pretty easy, but you have to do the work for it. Its pretty important that you show up to class, but she doesnt take attendance. It requires you to buy an online program called GSP, but there is no book. She is helpful, and really loves her students to participate.

The class is a lot of packets and busy work. She doesn't take attendance but if you miss class, you will miss a lot. You have to buy an online program for $9.99. She is really nice and will answer all questions. 3 tests, non cumulative, and 2 final projects. Take her, you will learn a lot.

Although attendance is not mandatory in this class, I highly suggest you never miss unless you have to. The notes explain everything. She is a little scattered brain sometimes, but overall not too bad. I actually like math so this class has not been too hard for me. Just pay attention and you should be able to understand the content.

If you know Elementary Geometry concepts, this class is very easy to follow. You know exactly what is expected, and it is seamless to receive a good grade in the class. Anyone that is complaining about the difficulty of this class just doesn't know how to follow simple directions, trust me! Very nice and helpful professor! No book required!

Literally, just come to class, take notes, do the homework as SOON as it is assigned (don't slack) and participate actively and you will get an A. The material is not hard or overwhelming, but you can't slack just because of that. Currently have a 99% during the summer session. NEVER miss a lecture is right, you can't afford to have to catch up!

Summer - Exams are based on lecture notes and practice problems (mostly practice problems). There are opportunities for extra credit. You MUST buy both the MINITAB workbook (WITH THE CD) and the textbook. Almost all of the homework and exams use these. She's always available for extra help and class passes by quickly if you pay attention.

She really wants her students to do well in her class. Goes over tons of example problems in class, and gives out reviews for tests. Really helpful if you go to her office hours. You will need to put in the time and effort, but she is more than happy to meet you halfway. Such a sweet lady!

Elementary Biostatisitcs is a course that is filled with complex information and formulas, with Dr. Lustman's help and guidance those complex processes and formulas are made friendly and easy to understand . Dr. Lustman was very invested our class and made sure we had everything we needed to do well. I would highly recommend her.

I cant imagine taking this course with a dif. prof & doing as well as I did in Dr. Ls class. She also accommodated me 1x by recording her lecture when I knew I would be absent. She encourages office hours, which I recommend for the term project. Homework takes time, but do them well very easy time studying for her tests. Dont fall behind.

She is a good teacher and very sweet. In this class you'll have a packet for every unit. She tells you what to study for the tests and if you try hard, you'll get a good grade. I recommend her.

It takes a while to learn how to use minitab, but she will help you during office hours and always responds to emails. She is a fair grader, and as long as you complete the homework you'll do find on the exams. She is super nice but you have to do your homework. Pretty chill and easy going class overall.

Lustman is a really nice prof. All lectures are on panapto so u can stay home and just watch them or you can rewatch them to study. Her lecture do get long and boring but she is always willing to help. 3 tests and a final presentation project. NO final exam. Her study guide is just like the exam and the hw are easy if u follow the example in class

Prof Lustman made this class very simple to follow. All lectures are posted online to panopto or with a pdf of her written notes. 3 in class exams that exactly follow her practice exams, no final exam, & one final project that she walks you through. Lectures were slow sometimes but it is obvious that she cares about the material and the students.

Professor Lustman is a decent professor. She explains the content very well and is always available to help. She can come off as rude when you ask questions though. You will receive homework every class but it's fairly manageable and shouldn't take that long. If you follow the class examples the homework should not be hard at all.

Professor Lustman was a kind and understanding person. She always tried to help us and make class as fun as possible. The class was much harder towards the end but only if you do not pay attention. There is classwork due every day after class, and the tests/ quizzes are long. Easy grader.

Professor Lustman is an AMAZING choice for your Elementary Biostatistics professor. During this entire online semester, I haven't had such an accessible professor like Professor Lustman was. She is willing to meet with you outside of class whenever, and you don't realize how much of a blessing that is until you experience it! She's very kind!

I took her for biostatistics for the fall semester and it was okay, the class is worth 4 credits so you really want to fight for a good grade. Homework every night, worth 15% of your grade, 3 exams worth 65% of your grade, lectures are heavy but she posts everything online so that helps ! Theres a project thats worth 15% and its a lot of work!!
