Very hard tests, he's a pretty smart guy, but not at all a good teacher. Do not take his class, unless U like messing up your GPA. Take Rajab for Bio.
hard class, but nice teacher!! lenient with his gradings, will try his best to help you out!! hard subject in general, but REALLY NICE PERSON !!
tests are hard. very tricky. if youre good at tricky mulitple choice questions, then you'll do fine. if not, then take someone else. he's nice though. he'll try to help you. gives some extra credit.
the class is pretty hard because its a hard subject and his tests were pretty tricky. you think you got the right answers but you don't. but he seems pretty nice. he looks pretty cool.
hard class. was based on lectures. grades based mostly on exams. tests are really tricky, multiple choice and some short answer questions. was pretty hard subject. will do his best to help you out. extra credit given if needed. really nice person though.
He's one of my favorite bio teachers so far! Funny, very approachable and helpful, and he definitely knows the subject and gives you a different insight into bio, but be warned... his tests are hard, and you do have to put lots of time and effort into his class to do well. Take good notes, and keep reviewing them and you'll be fine.
I took him for bio 111, 113 and 114 and I think Dr. Ogoshi is the best thing that happened to cypress college. Hes the most funniest teacher I ever had. Very nice, helpful and genuinely CARING. No doubt the class was hard but it will prep u for univ. I'm so sad that i wont have him for a teacher next semester =(
Im not the smartest girl in the world & i definatly had no intrest in biology. Somehow i ended up getting an A in this class, it wasnt easy it took alot of studying and note taking if your interested in learning then take this professor if you want an easy A then dont. All in all Prof. Ogoshi was freaking amazing and actually got me interested.
Dr Ogoshi is a very good prof. His class is pretty hard, but he is always willing to help. Teaches from notes not text. Tests are very hard, so STUDY for them. He gives plenty of easy extra credit to help you bring up your grade. Kinda nerdy, but in a cute way.
GREAT TEACHER! Dr. Ogoshi cares about his students, is funny, very friendly & approachable. He encourages us to ask questions always. Go to class, go to office hours! Have fun, and learn something. With all the resources available to you, it takes effort to NOT do well. This is the kind of teacher you change majors for.
I took Dr. Ogoshi at Cerritos College. He is an excellent teacher, has a great lesson plan and is willing to help you out. I really enjoyed having him as a professor.
O my goodness this guy is the greatest!!!!!! I mean he definitley cares about his students and his work. I have to say the class was hard but honestly your learning about you own body so it gets really interesting...But honestly TAKE HIM! he will give you advice on studying habits that you can use in any class setting. MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR AT CC.
TAKE HIM HE"S GREAT! works well with students. and who ever thinks he's to hard obviously doesn't have very high expectations for themselves because they would be studying and doing what it takes to pass his class. His test based on notes, night want to read book a little for clarity, availible for help, a lil dorky (in a cute way), but very GOOD!
This lab is required for most Bio programs for UC transfers. I'm glad I took Ogoshi instead of Rajab. Rajab is an excellent professor also, but it was refreshing to get explanations of things in a less serious environment. My grade in the lecture wouldnt be an A without being in Ogoshi's lab. he's a funny guy too. straight forward grading.
The lab instruction is online so you don't have to buy any textbooks. He is very helpful if you need help with any lab experiments and encourages students to visit him during office hours. There is a multiple choice prelab quiz for almost every lab and there is also a lab report but no final. Overall a very good and helpful professor.
not a good teacher at alllllllllllll... 0 understanding
Excellent teacher. Lectures are very clear. Even though his tests are M/C & come straight from his notes, don't be fooled, be prepared, his tests are hard; not so straight forward. U need to have the technique to read btwn the lines and understand the material backward & forward. He is approachable and willing to guide you to help you through it.
LOVE this teacher best in cypress, I would totally recommend taking him. He is not easy you really need to study, but he is very helpful you can ask him anything, you could tell he really cares about teaching he really cares about his students. :)
This was one of my favorite teachers! He was so easy to follow in class and explained exactly what was expected for exams. He is such a nice professor and willing to help out students who ask. If you study his notes, you will do well. Great Professor!
ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIM!!!! Dr.Ogoshi...an exceptional professor. He is the best ever!!, extremely knowledgeable, clear, superhelpful,he is there for his students. He loves teaching, cares about his students.Wants you to succeed.Pay attention, follow his directions/advice,and study!!! you'll get the grade you want.Your effort will reflect on your grade.
just like all science courses, this class is hard, but study hard can give u a high grade. dr. ogoshi has a book for students to buy, but its totally useless. I passed the course almost without using my textbook. 99-100% of of his answers are in his notes that he gives every lecture. i really recommend dr ogoshi.
Summer session: Its fast!! Dr. Ogoshi writes everthing on the board which will be on your test on some on the book. He is a great teacher that tells jokes here and there. His very helpful teacher that cares for his students. Great class to take with this instructor.
All of the test material comes from his lectures, so take good notes! He is very clear and makes the material interesting and understandable. He will also offer extra credit on tests. I really enjoyed this class!
Good Teacher, but requires a lot of time to study n get an A
He is awful when he lectures. He goes off in tangents & then it's not even important, but the test stuff he glosses over. I would not reccoment taking him at all.
He goes on useless tangents. He glosses over the stuff in the test & yet goes into detail on random things. Horrible, do not take him
Dr. Ogoshi is a good teacher. He writes down everything on the board and you copy it. Sometimes pictures in the book help to clarify steps. The only problem is that he is terrible at responding to you. He said the best way to contact him was email and he never responded to my emails. I had to go to his office.
Easy! I took his class during the summer. He writes everything he says on the board so you don't really need to buy the book, but it's good to have for more clarification. His quizzes and tests are based on the notes he gives you. He didn't get to go over all the topics cause there wasn't enough time.
So im not getting a pretty good grade but thats my fault..if u study and put in time u will be ok..hes so helpful and i really enjoyed his class He writes his notes on the wall and u can record his lectures..Take him i highly recommend him!!!
He's a great physiology professor. I learned a lot and his lectures are clear. He writes everything on the board and material is not too overwhelming. Be prepared for lab quizzes because he asks short answer or essay questions. I truly enjoyed his class.
Do NOT take him if u are looking for a good professor. he will not reply any of ur emails, and if u ask him for help in his office. He just repeat the same leture in class to u again. no study guide or extra credit at all. good luck if u want to take him.
really a helpful teacher. he answers all of my questions. he write everything on the board so that you could follow his lecture. tests are not so hard. he usually finish his lecture 20 minutes earlier. test and exams are easy, all things are from the lecture.
make sure you REALLY understand the lecture notes every little detail, thats where his exam ?'s come from. He writes lectures on whiteboard.Use the diagrams in the book they really help, but DO NOT read it.Short answer/MC lab quizes. Offers small amount of extra credit points, DO THEM. I passed with an A, form a study group and read exam ?s twice!
Good teacher, but his lectures and his tests are very different; requires lots of critical thinking that he does not teach in class. So far this semester (fall 11) almost the entire class is failing.
Ogoshi is the best teacher I've had at Cypress, but his class is certainly the most difficult. Although he teaches with clarity, he teaches this intro class truly at a university level. I have taken most of my classes at this school with ease, but I had to spend A LOT of time with this class. You will gain a lot from his class, but it is DIFFICULT.
Dr. Ogoshi is by far one of the best science teachers at cypress college. His class is hard but if yo pay attention and study hard you should pass it with ease. He also takes his time to help his students out and gives great advice.
Study your notes until you memorize them and then understand them and this class will be a okay. Its a really hard class. Dont recommend taking more then 2 classes a semester if you take this class.
I've never been so confused in my life. Ogoshi makes a somewhat difficult subject a lot more difficult by not assigning homework to reinforce material. Instead he lectures from start to end and expects you to memorize three to four chapters at a time for his ridiculous exams.
VERY hard class. If you wanna get an A or B in the class i suggest taking it with another professor. He is a great teacher and knows the subject VERY well but makes it harder than it really is. Run, Run Far Away.
The tests and the lectures aren't the "exact same" material, but it is the exact same concept. If you understand how the systems work with notes, you'll understand the test. He does offer extra credit quite frequently, just attend the class. Don't be afraid to ask questions during his lecture because he does take the time to explain. Great teacher!
The hardest quizes and tests you'll ever take
Great teacher, I love him.
After the first test, about 10 people dropped out. After the second test, about half of the class were gone. He is a good teacher, he just makes difficult tests. You really have to cover every possible angle of the topic and be able to teach it if you want to get an "A". I had to withdraw and will definitely not going to be in his class again.
Prof. Ogoshi is friendly, kind of easy. Just his exams are quite opposite. Read lecture not. But that is not enough to even get C. Read the book as much as you can, what relates to the lecture note. Attend SI. Meet Dr. Ogoshi as frequently as you can. Study in group. No other ways around. You'll be fine. Other wise, watch out! Like Dr. Ogoshi!
Dr. Ogoshi is an awesome teacher. His instructions are very clear. Make sure your ready to take a lot of notes as he does not believe in PowerPoints! Make sure to cover all the possibilities of the subject and be able to explain it if you want to get at least a B. His tests are really tough! Other than that, he's awesome!
Dr. O is A great professor. Very clear in his lectures, exams are difficult, easy & fun labs. Take GREAT notes, don't skip class or you'll miss out on a lot, use SI, visit him frequently(he's very helpful & honest)make sure you get a study group. Read the text book! Test are exactly as notes & book. Want a challenge & to learn a lot, then take him.
Dr. Ogoshi is an excellent and very knowledgable professor. Exams are difficult and he really expects his students to understand the material at a deeper level. Take advantage of SI from the beginning & go to office hours regularly; this helped me get my A! You have to work hard for your grade in this class, teacher is very helpful and approachable
He basically tells you if you don't pass the first test with a C or higher your most likely to fail his class. He is very discouraging the first day of class. He makes a few funny jokes here or there but he has such a monotone voice!!! Study the book, notes, and lab book and make sure to pay close attention during lecture. Good Luck!
Dr. Ogoshi is the best professor. Not only is he cute, but he is also funny and very smart. He always provides help if you need it and he promotes critical thinking, something we all really need to know how to do!!
I took this class bc of all the good reviews on here.. but i kinda wish i didn't. Ogoshi is a cool guy and the material is not really HARD per se. it's his tests... the questions try to trick you, and you can never fully prepare yourself for them. if you are a good critical thinker, then this class is for you. not just memorizing like anatomy.
Dr. Ogoshi is a great teacher. Very, very smart and sometimes makes funny jokes. Probably the most challenging class I took at Cypress College, because you actually have to understand the material and apply your knowledge to answer the questions on the exams. Merely memorizing the notes will not get you an A, you really have to work for your grade!
He's a very respected man by the students. Really honest, and straightforward with everyone. Test are beyond challenging, makes you think outside of the box. No homework to make everything stick after each class. Do your best to take good notes and definitely get study partners.
He is an excellent professor when it comes to teaching. He is funny and makes every point really clear. His tests though are ridiculous. They were incredibly hard and some of the stuff it seems like we didn't learn. More than half the class dropped. SI does help a little.
He is hard you have to study, read, and pay attention. Its not a class you can show up to class and study the notes and lecture, you need to go above and beyond and read the book on your own and look further into detail. I tried and i failed, his tests were just to hard. Take another teacher if you can, it will make your life less stressful.
I love how a lot of the reviews on here are complaining about tests being "hard" and having to use "critical thinking". Most students taking this class are going into nursing or some medical profession. If you can't handle critical thinking now, you might want to reevaluate your career choice. Dr. Ogoshi is a great teacher! I learned so much!
You really need to work for your grade in this class. Dr. Ogoshi has very clear lectures, but the part that makes this class a bit difficult is the ability to critically think and analyze the given material. You need to learn how to really analyze the basics to do well. The grades are based on 4 exams, lab quizzes every lab and few extra credit.
His final is one of most lecture heavy material I have ever had to study for. The first three tests are concept based with specific detail memorization. The final is all data memorization. I studied for 30 hours of facts that do not have much relation to each other. This is a class that you really have to strive for the stars to get an A in.
Really respect Dr. Ogoshi. Best prof I've had yet! That being said his class is really hard! Take very detailed notes and study them, no need for the book or extra reading. Be prepared to think critically. Pay attention to every word in class.
Dr. Ogoshi is great. favorite professor by far. His class is very challenging but if you read and study you'll be fine. Try to find online critical thinking type questions about bio to help you prepare for his tests, they're pretty tough. you can always go to his office hours for help as well, he's intimidating at first but he's not that bad.
Prof Ogoshi is really chill and approachable once you break the ice. I had to take one of his tests early and he let me take it in his office and got to talk to him about school stuff. The lecture is on point and interesting. He sometimes makes dad jokes in class. His tests are hard but def doable.
I have had taken a lot of different Biology classes and can easily say that Ogoshi was the worst one I have taken yet. No study guides. The info on the exams are not taught in class. After 2 exams 67% of the class was failing. You have to attend the SI class so they can teach you the real material but even then he doesn't care about his students.
No offence to the commenter below, but that is completely inaccurate. You have to be able to critically think on his exams. They are definitively not straightforward or linear, you have to be able to go from C to A or vice versa. Afterall, classes such as physiology is not meant to be easy. What worked for me were recording his lectures. Go 2 ofice
Dr. Ogoshi is a good professor, just not for me. I had to drop because I felt that no matter how many times I've studied for his class, I've always felt unprepared. If you think you've understand a concept, think again, because chances are... you're wrong. His exams are very tricky. Don't be late to class on exam days, some girl got 20% taken off.
Dr Ogoshi honestly isn't that bad of a professor. As long as you show up and pay attention, you should be fine. Try to understand his lecture in class and take good notes. Learning on your own will be difficult. Exams aren't the easiest but if you study and understand the concepts, you'll be fine. If you miss a class, you'll miss a lot.
I began with a C on the first exam and finished the semester with an A. However, Dr. Ogoshi's class is not an easy A and its up to the student if they want a good grade. Exams are based on lecture and he is very clear on everything. He always encourages students to go to office hours for help and genuinely cares about the success of his students!!!
You definitely have to work for your grade, and truly understand the concepts. Go to office hours and ask questions. His exams are not tricky.. you just have to know the material. Dr. Ogoshi is an amazing professor and really cares about his students.
If you even have the slight inclination of hoping this will be a painless, easy pass, don't waste your time enrolling. You will drop like flies like 50% of the class. Those who seem to have an easier time in the class are those who have had a successful science background. His class is not for the weak.
Even attending all the SI sessions, I got a C on the first test. I had to really use all the resources--SI, Tutoring, Group Study and office hours to really meet Ogoshi's critical thinking level. It was really tough, and it came with a rollercoaster ride of emotions. If you are passionate about your field, take this guy. The struggle was worth it!
I changed my study habits this year I studied so much & got a 52% on the 1st exam. Class average was 63% & students who went to SI averaged at 61%. He said his last class 1st exam average was 73% He does not do study guides & he acknowledged he wont change his teaching habits. Do yourself a favor & take someone else.
The scope of the class is 4 lecture exams, but no study guide. just study off lectures notes in class (he will not post online) so you dont have to come to class but if you get notes from someone else make sure you can understand it, if not take them yourself. lab is critical as well 3 lab exams that are straightforward and a PBL. easy if u try
Dr. Ogoshi is 1 of the best profs. Ppl who like study guide & can't think critically will struggle af, but don't say he doesn't care about stdnts. Dr. O is most caring. Who spends class time to advise on getting recommendations from profs? Teach about long term potentiation? I asked him many random (science) Q and he always sincerely discussed them
WOW this class was a rollercoaster... a lot of material is thrown at you. Lecture is basically memorizing your notes. I became a better student after finishing this class. He really challenges you and I suggest going to his office hours! He truly cares about his students and is one of the most inspirational prof. @ Cypress!
I definitely learnt a lot as a student from taking his class. This is a hard class due to the volume of work as a student. However, to succeed I suggest going to all his lectures because his exams are very lecture material focused. No homework/ small assignments. Also, go to his office hours. You find out the specific things he is looking for.
Not a class youll be babied in for sure. Everthying rides on your knowledge with no buffers in assignments or extra credit. Youll basically be relying on your own knowledge and exam scores. Do not take Ogoshi lightly and make sure you have your stuff together
Dr. Ogoshi is by far one of the WORST professor. Objectively speaking, hes just not good at teaching & lecturing. He drags out every lecture & labs by speaking slowly. His tests are inconsistent and requires you to know so many unnecessary things. Just save yourself some time and take class with a different professor. A terrible professor for sure
Mr. Ogoshi is a great teacher but his class was just not for me. His lectures were easy to follow and understand but his tests are very difficult and you'll definitely need to read the book or go to SI in order to pass. I read the book but I still failed the tests. It's a challenging class but it will benefit you in the future.
There are no study guides but if you take good notes and apply what you learn to his critical thinking questions" you will do fine. He is always available during office hours and is always will to help me even now when I'm not his student. Be sure to listen to his letters of rec. lecture, it is something I wish I learned sooner.
Dr. Ogoshi wants to push students to be better students. An A is definitely possible depending on what you do with your time. Record lecture, write detailed notes, go to SI, put in hoursss into studying, go to his ofc hours if/when you need. Learned so much in this class, Dr. Ogoahi is such a great prof, I'd take all my classes with him if I could
BIO175 was strictly memorization--no critical thinking. Just make sure you capture every detail from his notes because, in his words, everything is fair game. All that goes in the grade book are tests and some group projects, which I found to be annoying. Also, he gives great advice on what to expect from research and graduate school experiences.
Biology can be a difficult subject, but if you go to class and pay attention, do the reading (as expected), you can get a B. If you find a study group or get tutoring help, then you most definitely can get an A in the class. Grade totally depends on your efforts. Prof. Ogoshi is always available & gives good feedback.
Ogoshi is tough but he wants to help you, he really cares! His test questions are tough - just understanding the question is an accomplishment. But fully understand HIS notes, not necessarily the textbook. You really need to understand concepts, if you just memorize things you wont pass. Work your ass off and you can do it! Go to SI and tutoring!!
No doubt that Ogoshi is an amazing prof. His methods just weren't for me. Good lectures but understanding his critical thinking exam questions is a CHALLENGE. Knowing the material isnt enough, u need to apply what u know to his scenario questions on exams (I'm talking a paragraph per question). However, once the hard ass hat is off he really cares
Ogoshi is a genius. He comes off as tough, but once you get to know him hes so caring and really wants to help you succeed. His class was just not meant for me - a LOT of critical thinking. Sometimes I didnt even know what the question was asking, it was worded so tough. But if you want the challenge, hes for you.
Don't take him. Only ten or less people wind up passing the finish line. I'm taking him during the covid remote learning format and he doesn't even lecture??? He's inflexible, doesn't care about students, and is really arrogant. His questions are insanely hard and you may very well fail despite going to tutoring and studying your butt off. BEWARE.
Taken Spring 2020. This is a hard class. You will need to work hard to succeed. Dr. Ogoshi is a great professor and is clear about what he expects. Pacing yourself and studying everything from your in-class notes is important, as all is fair game. He also gives great life advice, both academically and IRL. Plus a total fishing dad guy.
Class was straight forward. Textbook not needed. Everything that you will need to know for the exams are in his lectures. No homework. Exams aren't tricky. If he covers a figure in class make sure you know it. Ogoshi has a dry sense of humor that makes him appear unapproachable but he isn't. Go to his office hours and you'll see he is a jokester.
I took him when COVID and I regret taking him. He doesn't lecture at all and expect us to teach the lecture to ourselves, but some people have a hard time doing that because some might not understand it (like me). I went to every SI and tutor atleast twice a week to get the material down, but what I learned isnt even on his exams.
ive literally never had a professor or teacher as hard as ogoshi ever in my life. Literally the worst professor to take. doesn't offer extra credit. doesn't record his lectures. doesn't give you study guides. do yourself the favor dont take this class unless you're able to teach yourself material. even with SI and tutoring many of us are failing.
This professor is doesn't teach. You just read powerpoints. He's passive aggressive & lowkey rude. Do not take him if you want to learn. I passed but it wasn't easy. He's not approachable, not clear on directions, doesn't respond quickly to students, and gets mad if we don't interpret vague directions clearly. Overall, He does not slay!
The hardest professor I have ever taken, but the class I have learned the most in. If you like critical thinking and actually want to learn then take his course. He did not give a lecture. He just provides notes and short audios to explain. A lot of self-teaching is done. I recommend taking this course by itself if you really want an A.
Ogoshi is by hands down, the WORST professor I have ever had in my college career. I hesitate to even call him a professor because professors are meant to teach. This man does not lecture AT ALL and gives 20 ppt slides with almost no explanation. If you want to succeed you must do SI tutoring but it's held on different days than what is scheduled.
Fall 2021: very picky about lab reports' responses but fair grading, everything is self-paced w/ lecture vids. 3 exams w/ 1 final exam, 1 group presentation, 2 extra cred opportunities where we write exam questions for him, 9 lab activities. He rounded up my grade after I asked and gave reasons.
Labs are very easy compared to BIO174. Everything is self teaching, so MEMORIZE all the slides including figures and you'll be fine on the exams. Use flashcards, rewrite notes, and attend tutoring for EC. 3 exams total. final group project so choose group mates wisely. one field trip to an estuary with the class.
Dr. Fumio Ogoshi is an Excellent professor, I'll just recommend studying very well for the exams, and understanding the material is the key to passing his exams based on questions that require you to think out of what you learn in class. SI sessions weren't my favorites, as I felt that the tutor treated some students better than others.
Dr. Ogoshi taught this course in a hybrid manner. We were expected to study outside of class in addition to attending lectures. The course is very test-heavy and is only graded on 3 exams, a PBL project, and labs. His tests are detailed in the sense that ANYTHING on his slides can be and probably will be tested on. Do not sleep on the first exam.
Dr. Ogoshi asks for a lot. His class is TOUGH. Make sure you get tutoring help, and pair up with good classmates for lab assignments. You will have to work to understand the lessons. You will put in work to get your grade. He is incredibly knowledgable and I am so grateful to have taken his class.
One of the toughest classes I've taken so far, it was very rewarding to pass his class. I recommend understanding the concepts vs. memorizing, and going to tutoring (extra credit too) to succeed. Ogoshi is a very funny man, and cares about your success in his course. The exam questions are very lengthy/wordy so study hard, and you'll pass.
He is a tough professor and won't hold your hand throughout his class and expects you to know your stuff by each week. Overall, he is straightforward with his material my only i had was if you work as a group and if one member of your group "Drops" he will give everybody a zero if that member was the one to turn it in and drop from his class
Ogoshi's class is no walk in the park, but if you're up for the challenge, it can be incredibly rewarding. Definitely leverage resources like unstuck study, tutoring, and the textbook to succeed. His exams are tough, but staying engaged makes all the difference.
Dr. Ogoshi is very knowledgeable in his field and it shows in the lecture. He is always showing examples to how the concepts apply in the real world. The exams can have questions where just one word can trick you, so beware. Get ready to do many labs, and write every teeny tiny detail for lab exams. He also gives good life advice and is very nice.
4 years of undergrad, 1 year of post grad, and by far, out of all the professors i've had the privilege of learning from, he is the LEAST qualified with GREATEST arrogance. He takes exam advice from previous students- none of which have credentials/background in education. Heavy on DOES NOT teach, his IA taught more than him. Heavy on AVOID him.
This class is hard no matter who you take, but I'm glad I decided to take it with Dr Ogoshi. Physiology is a difficult subject, and many students expect a good grade without putting in the work. He gives you everything you need to learn and succeed, but you need to pull your own weight
His online lectures are hard to access if you aren't super tech savvy. He expects you to read the textbook without clearly saying to read the textbook. The majority of every exam is based on the textbook. I would recommend going to SI and tutoring because otherwise you don't stand a chance.
Horrible professor. I'd give him a -10 if I could.
If you care about ur mental health do not take this professor. doesnt prepare u for exams at all (they're hard asf and grades are test heavy). doesn't care abt his students. dont bother going to office hours bc he'll discourage u and make u feel incompetent for asking a question. he's arrogant, rude and a bully. most the class drops bc they fail
If you care abt a good grade take another professor . if not go ahead and take this professor and get a D or F:)
If you want to D!e go ahead and take him. If you want to be judged take him! Save yourself
I'm good at science subjects. Have gotten A's previously from biology to chem. This professor is just bad! Don't take him just bc he's the only professor. Get on waitlist for another professor. Because if u take this professor u will waste ur time and end up dropping. There was like 10 people left when I dropped.
He needs to be fired.
As a hybrid course, it is important that you utilize ALL your resources: SI, physio workshops, tutoring and office hours. Dr. Ogoshi's course is soley based on 4 lecture exams and labs. A recommendation is to lock in since day 1 & set time aside for this course as it requires lots of critical thinking and analysis of lengthy questions on exams.
All bio classes are hard, and this class is not exception. Dr.Ogoshi is realistic but great professor. He gives really good life advices, lectures in a way we can understand better. Questions are very conceptual, so don't just try to rememeber definitions but actually try to understand the content. I feel this class is very rewarding.
why be a professor in a hard field if ur gonna make everyone around u miserable?
