You'll have no problem with the tests or assignments if you just listen in class and review your notes and key terms from the book. He also throws in a few "words" to catch our attention which make sthe class fun!

He is a decent teacher, gives projects which help your grade if you are not good on tests. The tests are kind of hard, but just look at the vocabulary and review notes.

He's got a sense of humor, but class is boring and since his lectures are online its hard to make your self go b/c the tests are hard either way. Projects count for a lot of your grade and help alot. He's a cool guy

He was my favorite teacher for my freshman year. Great guy and the classes are fun and he's funny. Strongly recommend! Classes are simple and the notes are provided online. So you just print them out and go to class. No taking notes! Test were pretty easy and I would just study the night before.

I enjoyed this class he was a good teacher. Tests can be tough at times but since there are 5 you can slip up on one and be ok. Group and individual projects are worth alot.

Professor Guzzo is a great instructor with a sense of humor. He takes forever to grade projects, but he grades them very easily. His tests started out hard, but got much easier toward the end. He's new, so he was just figuring things out. I'd recommend him for SOC 200, smaller class if possible.

Dr. Guzzo is a good teacher. He knows what he's talking about and makes class interesting. Just take good notes and review the vocab words from the book and you'll do well on his exams. The writing intensive component is easy. He is willing to help with writing papers if you ask for help.

Prof. Guzzo has been my favorite professor so far. He definitely knows what he's talking about. His writing asignments are easy, but make sure you study for the tests. They aren't difficult at all if you study. He puts his notes online which is a plus :) so you dont have to take a lot of notes.

He is a great prof! I loved his class, even though I missed a few of them, he makes things fun. A few assignments but they arent hard, I had fun doing them. TESTS ARE EASY IF YOU STUDY THE WORDS AND NOTES. He offers the notes online, so not really a must to take them durning class!

This guy has kinda weird humor, and his class can get pretty boring. The tests are difficult if you dont do a good amount of studying. The journals and projects are incredibly easy, though.

Dr. G is the greatest!! ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile to help and so are his TA'S. Tests are very fair with incredible review sessions. I highly recommend this teacher!!!!

He was really funny and his classes were pretty interesting. His exams are pretty much all vocab and all multiple choice. Go to the review sessions before the exams...he tells you practically every question on the tests!

this class is so easy!! download the powerpoint notes and go to the review sessions and you'll do well on the exams. be careful, though, he does take attendence sometimes...and its part of your grade. the writing intensive part is really easy...the ta's grade it...so easy!!

Very good teacher, cares about his students and wants you to do well, if you still need Soc-200 you will be making a mistake not to take him, as long as you go to class and study the terms you will get an A

Very easy class. I only went to class when there was a test and did very well. All you need to do for a test is memorize the vocab. Ocassionally there are questions from videos but if you haven't seen them the answers are basically common sense. Grades tests after you take them. Writing projects are fun and easy. Great class!

Complete blow-off class. You never have to go. I got an A on both writing assignments and all five exams without studying a lick. However, he is boring as hell, and he cusses in class so kids will think he's cool, which is tedious.

I deffinitely recommend taking him for SOC. The class is so easy! You can blow it off (not recommended tho) and still get A's if you study his powerpoints. He gives study guides before tests and you even get to watch a movie here and there. Take him if you can!

I had the honors class which was nice because it was small. With that class it was more personal and he was much more willing to be flexible with grades and projects. The tests are pretty easy, just go over the notes. On the movies he tends to be annoyingly picky, like who was the director?? But overall it was an easy fun class.

His class is so easy. I skipped lecture all the time and turned both my papers in several days late and still pulled a B in the class. If I can do that, then a good student should pull an A no problem.

This class was probably the most boring class I have ever taken, but it was not because of the professor. Guzzo is a good guy. Everything was pretty easy, but he counted off on punctuation more than my English teacher did. This class makes my eyelids feel 100 lbs, but take Guzzo if you need this class.

Guzzo is a good guy, but this is one of the most boring classes I've ever been in. If you have any logic, you'll be fine...papers are easy, test are multichoice...if you have to take this course (try and get out of it) take Guzzo, I would have been asleep constantly without him.

He is a phenomenal professor! He has such a great personality and it shows in his class. If you know definitions for his tests, and do both papers you will ace the class, oh and my TA, sean, was oh so good looking.

Class was kind of pointles...but the teacher was great....just make sure you do EVERYTHING that he says, like writing papers in MLA format, becuase he will dock for that......but if you do that, and study the night before a test, you should get an A.

This is by far the easiest gen. ed. I have taken so far. His lectures can get boring, but you do watch a couple of movies and they are good. If you know the definitions, you are almost guaranteed an A. Honestly, you could never attend class, print off the lecture notes, and read some of the book, and i guarantee you will get an A.

AWESOME teacher... I loove his class.. I don't go all the time, but you don't really need to. It's so easy to get an A if you do the papers and atleast try to do well on the test!

He gets the students involved. He does put the notes on the internet so it a lot easier to keep up, but you still learn more when you to go class.

Great Class! Easy A by attending lecture. All test questions are from lecture not just the online notes. Movie day attendence is necessary to answer test questions about them.

This class is quite easy. He is a stickler for MLA format with his papers. The first paper he allows you to correct for a grade higher. Attend class when he shows movies. There are always test questions based on them. I got an A in this class and on every test by just making/studying notecards of the vocab words the night before every test.

He is a really good professor. He explains things very well. He changes things up and makes the class surprisingly interesting. His papers are easy as long as you follow his outlines. You don't need to buy the book though. I would definitley recommend him.

by far the easiest class i have ever taken in my life, but that doesn't mean it was boring. you don't have to stay for the lectures to do well on the tests because he posts everything online, but what he has to say is interesting and he knows a lot about what he teaches. oh and did i mention that everyone got 100% on the final? why? you'll find out

He is an excellent professor. He is very clear when he talks and presents his info. He stimulates your mind and critical thinking and he makes class enjoyable and fun. He's easy to talk to and is extremely helpful and always there when you need him.

This class was WAY easy. The book is only needed for the vocab. You don't really need to go to lass because everything is posted on-line but when you go to class he is a really good teacher :).

So easy. I rarely went to class outside of exam days because all the notes are online. The tests are way easy and the 2 papers are not that bad either.

Dr. Guzzo is really great. He's very nice and funny. He makes you feel like he's taking the class with you. His tests are very easy and so are the two papers. You even get to do a rewrite on the first one if you don't like your grade. I recommend staying after the tests to see your grade, you never know what he's going to let you get away with

EASY "A." Bottom line. Guzzo's a really laid back professor who doesn't make taking SOC 200 any harder than it should be. Writing Intensive? Yes, but you wouldn't even think so. Only 3 papers & 5 exams...piece of cake. Most key points on the test are from the lectures though. He makes the course fun and interesting. Recommend ANYONE to take GUZZO!

I absolutely loved this class. Guzzo is one of the best professors I have ever had. Wright State would benefit from having more professors like him! He's not on a power trip, just wants to teach you and expand your mind. The two papers weren't bad and allowed for personal expression. Take him!

prob the easiest teacher. you have 2 reports that are easy a's if u follow the guidelines, 3 tests and he gives you 80% of the answers before each test. really good guy as well. i got an a and didnt show up to class that much

Not a free A but not impossible either. If you come to the classes and do the work you will at least get a B. Put a little effort in and you will earn the A. Discussions are fun to participate in and he tries to involve anyone who wishes to participate. Tests are not that hard as long as you do a bit of studying.

Can do terrible on exams & still get an A! very helpful teacher. I would recommend studying ALOT for exams. but if you average a C then you can still pass with an A, just do extra well on the papers! Lots of information, but would definately recommend him as a teacher!!

Great professor. He is pretty funny and very easygoing. There were a few questions on the exams from the book. Get the book from the reserves at Dunbar and skim over it. For a basic general education class, I would greatly recommend this class and Dr. Guzzo!

He's a good teacher but the tests are very detailed. You must attend the classes with movies-the material from the movies will be on the tests. There is also a great deal from the book on the test. Overall not bad though.

Tough tests...easy papers. GREAT teacher....READ the text...over and over if you want really good grades on the tests, you gotta understand examples NOT just definitions. Very enlightening material and good class discussions.

I'm not sure why all the people on here are saying his tests are hard, they're not. I didn't even read the book for a while, just went to class and took notes, and I did fine. But if you don't want to go to class, reading the book works too! and I got an A on a paper that I thought I would get a C on. Really good teacher, and he's really funny!

Dr. Guzzo was a great professor. He made the classes interesting and is very generous when grading. I found the tests pretty easy, especially the final. He's very prompt with responding to e-mails and grading assignments. Overall, the class was very enjoyable. I would take it again.

Don't piddle-fart around, don't sit in a corner on your lonesome, ask to see every test afterwards to see what you got wrong and definitely do the papers the best you can and then some and you have a guaranteed A!!!

The class is fun, and very easy to get in to. He has a wonderful teaching strategy and I would definitely take him again. Classes are mandatory due to videos and discussions in class. 1st writing assignment is kinda tough, while the second is easy. Buy the ebook and study the pretest, posttest, chapter tests, and online flashcards to get an EZ A

Guzzo is one of my fav teachers of all time! He makes his lectures interesting by telling jokes and he is very straight forward. I would DEFINITELY recommend registering for his class!

Dr. Guzzo is awesome. His lectures were amusing and it was well worth attending class. His tests are based partially on the book but I found I didn't need the book; studying and attending class is a must! He had a heart attack in lecture one day and didn't return for the rest of the semester, but if he does return to teaching, take him!
