Mr Labadzhyan is a good lookin professor, kind hearted and very helpful. He has the easiest grading skill! he teaches until everyone gets it , and he is willing to stay after class to help you out. sometimes he hints out answers on the test ;) definitely take him to pass with flying colors.

As someone who took Chemistry before and dropped it, this professor made me gain back the love I had for Chemistry. Although you have to study to get an A, he has a very fair grading system and unlike in other classes, it is not impossible to get an A.

Professor Gagik was definitely an amazing teacher. I took Chem 102 with him in the Winter (2020) and was able to succeed. It was a tough course, but he definitely makes it more doable. with that being said, it is a chemistry course in a short session, so you can't expect it to be "easy." He is very accessible outside of class and is very patient.

I took this class in summer, and I was amazed how he cared about the students. He would stay longer to explain the material and the most helpful fact is that he was recording everything so if you could not stay longer you could watch the recording. I took his remote class, and he was my only professor that actually cared about his students. He recorded his lectures, he had all of the notes accessible in the files, and he would send us lots of videos that would help us understand the concepts. Prof. L gives amazing lectures and explains everything clearly. He records his lectures so attendance is not mandatory but you should watch all his lectures. He always gives practice quizzes/exams in order to help us with the actual ones. He gives 3 quizzes (drops lowest one) and 4 exams. His exams can be tough if you did not prepare well.

He is great at what he does. He is very clear with what he expects and puts in effort for his lectures. Hes always there for office hours, records and posts all his lectures, and is very understanding when it comes to grading. As long as you manage your time (seriously dont procrastinate) and practice extra problems he gives, you will do great.

Dr. Labadzhyan was one of the only reasons I completed the course with an A. Though the course was very hard since it was a winter class, he did many things to help us. The course itself being taken during the winter was NOT EASY whatsoever, but Professor Labadzhyan did everything to help alleviate the pain. He was kind enough to drop our lowest quiz/ lab exam grades, which made a huge impact on our final grade. Phenomenal professor and human. He cares about his students and makes the admittedly difficult topics accessible and fun. Some people struggled with the exams, but he is very generous about scratch work/partial credit (there isn't a bunch of EC but this is why I checked it off). Super smart, caring and nice professor. his tests are hard, there's a lot of different variations for the questions so u never know what ur gonna get. if u don't study all specific types of problem, u might get it wrong. I loved how he gave partial credit tho, if u show ur work/explain what u could've done (if u ran out of time), he gives credit

This professor really cares about his students. He wants to make sure that everyone in the class understands the material and will do everything he can to give you the help you need. He's a very smart man and does a great job at teaching students difficult material in a way that is easy to follow and understand. Definitely take his class!

Gagik is the best Professor I have ever taken to date. He really cares for his students and wants to see us succeed. I highly recommend everyone takes this class. You wont regret it. I took all my chems with him when I was at GCC.

Prof. Gagik is a knowledgeable professor, but he tends to go off-topic a lot, which makes the labs longer than they need to be. Gen Chem 102 is fun and interesting, but be prepared for really long videos (like 8 hours per chapter!). The tests aren't easy, but he grades pretty generously.

One of the best profs I've had - super engaging, generous with partial credit, and genuinely wants students to succeed. unstuck study was a game-changer for practice problems.

please just take him. if u need to take ANY chem course and he's teaching it...idc move ur entire schedule around if you need to, TAKE HIM. i suck at chem like BAD but he makes it so easy to understand and he is VERY generous w partial credit. tbh it would be hard NOT to get a B or an A in his class IF you put the time in. #favprof

Professor Labadzhyan is an excellent instructor, his lectures are clear and he is very fair in his grading. He provides practice exams before each test which helps to focus on the most important parts and study effectively! Take him and you won't regret it!

he gets hate for talking to much, which he does, but that's because this dude CARES a ton. I recommend taking him, the final isn't too hard as long as you study for it, the same goes for the tests. He will carry you on his back if it means you'll learn chemistry. The lectures are long, but you can sort of get by in lab if you attend and listen.

I absolutely adore this man. He is so endearing and kind, trust me when I say you will not regret taking him. Very generous with points if you put in the work and show it on exams. He cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Mutual respect is a big thing with him, so if you're showing up and putting in the work, he will take care of you.

Professor Labadzhyan is very supportive and genuinely wants all of his students to succeed. He is always willing to help and encourages everyone to aim for an A. Although the course is challenging, he provides the guidance and resources needed to do well if you put in the effort.

the class is hard but manageable just do NOT make the mistake i did of slacking in the beginning then mid/end semester realizing u need to lock in, lock in from the start and an A is achievable. prof labadzhyan is one of the best i have ever had, he genuinely cares about his students and is willing to work with you if you put in the effort

I'm not even done with the class yet, but I can honestly say I've never had a professor like him. He truly cares. He always reminds us that the work is for our benefit, but at the same time he's constantly going out of his way to help us succeed. It's the kind of support you don't usually see, and it makes a huge difference. He made me love chem.

ABSOLUTE G. i've never wrote a review for a professor but he deserves one. chem is difficult but he makes it so enjoyable. he does have long lectures but it's only for your benefit. he is so caring and only wants you to succeed. Whatever you do, make sure you take it with him. If u put in work u will get atleast a B in his class. GOAT!

Truly the best professor I have ever had. Although gen chem is hard, he goes out of his way to make sure his students succeed. He prepares you extremely well for exams with past exams and clear lectures. One of those professors who actually cares and wants you to learn. If you put in the effort, you will do well in this class. Highly recommend.
