Mrs. Ditchman is absolutely amazing. She is very enthusiastic about the topic and she is always full of energy to teach the class with the maximum amount of interest. I would strongly recommend her for all elementary education classes. Take Mrs. Ditchman and you will never regret you made that choice! She is super!

i LOVE her i have taken her for almost 3 semestersnow she is awesome and i have not a bad word to say about her.. SHe gives u extensions when you need them and is just an all around amazing teacher i love her!

She is very passionate about her teaching. Gives alot of little assignments. Easy grader- make sure you take notes. Tests are easy if you study. She is thorough but just listen to her carefully she has alot of rules- EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! TRUST ME TAKE HER Oh yeah, you will read alot of childrens books too- but that is to be expected in this class.

you guys are crazy I LOVE Gail she has helped me with everything i have ever asked for. she is a hard grader when u take 2 minutes to do your work. She loves to be personal and doesnt teach from the book! Lots of field trips and fun! take her for sure! she has changed my views on education a lot!!

If you get on her good side and demonstrate you care about your grade she will too. She gives ALOT of assignments but they are simple and short. Didn't understand her at first...but loved her class at the end! I would recommend her...If you plan on being lazy, then dont waste your time! In her class she treats you like an adult! LOVED HER!!!!

Ms. Ditchman is a great teacher. She is very helpful and an easy grader. Hand in all work on time and she will grade easy. Tests are easy as long as you do your work. I've had her for two classes and each time recieved an A. Listen closely to dues dates and follow them.

I thought that this teacher was extremly easy. She was fun to learn from and I found that I really wantrf to be in her class.

I learned so much from mrs. ditchman about being a teacher. She prepared me for my future edu classes and I feel like I know so much more than other students because of her class! She keeps you busy, but that's the life of a TEACHER! if you're planning on being a teacher and think this class is hard...then good luck with that!

she knows a lot about education so that makes her a good teacher. she gives a lot of work and all of it needs to be done. If you miss one thing you fail the class. but they are all major things that need to be done for the class. gives take home tests. group work. nice lady. will help after class if needed.

Professor Ditchman is really a nice teacher. If you do not understand something, she is really happy to clear things up. Do not expect to sit back and do nothing. I'm glad she makes her students work because someday they expect to be teaching. Do we really want lazy future teachers? Nope!

I took her EDU100 online class. Her syllabus and the majority of the dates were outdated from the Spring or Summer semester so it was hard to understand when she wanted it turned in, unless myself or another student emailed her to point it out. Took a long time to hear back from her through email, she grades slowly. She is just an "O.K" teacher.

Her class was easy, there is a lot of work involved, but if you do it on time and not the day before its due, you will be okay. She only gave one test, and the other was take home. Your final exam is a presentation. This class was a lot of fun there is 30 observation hours that need to be done with two 10 page papers, but they were easy.

I never used the book and ended up with an A. You just have to keep up with the work and not let it pile up. She's very understanding and willing to give out extensions if needed. only one test was given in class the other was a take home. Other than that I was kind of disappointed that i did not learn more

If I had the opportunity to take more classes with Ms. Ditchmann before I graduated, I would have. Very helpful & experienced. There were a lot of papers, but they were all required by the state for certification mostly.

Loved this class! My interest prior to taking it was mediocre, but ended up really enjoying it. Gail is a great professor & knows her stuff about Special Ed and the needs of students. This course is very demanding, but will be worth it in the end. She adds fun activities whenever possible. Take Gail for this course! *30 observation hrs required*

This online class was a lot of papers but each one is required by the state and they aren't even hard if you know how to follow very simple directions. she always responded to my emails by the next day and was very helpful with everything. only used the book for the 4 exams. very easy if you are ok with writing papers. observation hours required.

First online class I've taken and I can say that it was an amazing experience. There's a lot of homework, maybe 1-2 hours a day, mostly because the class was only 5 weeks long, but they homework is very easy! Just like tests! She always answers emails and updates grades. Easy grader, too! I'd definitely take an online class with her again!

I took this class online. Ditchman has a very detailed calendar, with all the due dates clearly laid out. The course entails a lot of work but if you keep up, it is easy. She responds quickly to emails, and was understanding when I missed a due date while I was sick with pneumonia.

I literally cannot believe the turn around Gail has made with online courses. I took an online course with her once before and it was disorganized, confusing and quite frustrating to be honest. Now it is organized, color coded, and easily accessible. I highly recommend taking an online course with Gail.

Mrs. Ditchman has an attitude sometimes, but she is very helpful if you ask her. She tells you exactly what she wants from her papers. They are kind of long, but hey what do you expect in an education class. I honestly learned alot from her. Sometimes she is unorganized. Two tests, 5 papers, presentation, and final. Easy A! TAKE HER!

She's been teaching for a while and it shows! Teaches a lot of techniques to use when you actually become a teacher and makes sure you understand. She assigns a lot of papers, but they're mandatory. If you miss two classes she forces you to drop. Must attend!

Mrs. Ditchman is an AMAZING teacher! She can be tough on students because she wants to push them to do better. Her assignments are mandatory but they are relevant to the class and you are given plenty of time to accomplish it all. She will help you one on one and will give you great advice. She is experienced and is a very great teacher!

I love Gail! I have taken her for 3 classes. She is very clear on her grading criteria and is willing to help you before/after class. She is a great teacher and knows so much about the subject!!

This woman knows her stuff! She is very understanding if you keep her in the loop of what you're dealing with. Gail is smart and funny and clearly loves what she does. Is she strict? Sure. But it's only because she wants you to do well. Education isn't for everyone, but for those who belong there, Gail is a phenomenal professor.

Very knowledgeable on education, she is very helpful if you need any assistance in preparing to be a teacher & what is required. Couple papers, 30 hours of observations, and you have to teach the class as if you were the teacher (can be done alone or in groups) Some what easy grader. Midterm and take home final. 2 absences allowed.

Ditchman gets such a bad rep! She is by far one of the best teachers I've ever had. She can be tough at times, but it only helps you get better. She's always said this and its so true... if you fail her class, it's because you tried to fail it. Her classes are all easy enough and she's just a great person overall. SO helpful!!!

I enjoyed Gail's hybrid class. She's knowledgeable about what she teaches. Get ready to write papers. I don't advise taking her hybrid class because you need self-discipline but EDU111 overall was great. Gail is a good professor; if you like learning things with examples you will like her teaching style. You must reserve time devoted to this class.

I took Mrs Ditchman for a hybrid EDU 104 last semester, and she was really kind and caring. If you ask her for advice she will be happy to help. Do assignments on time, dont miss any class, and work on your presentation , believe me you will get A. I will take her next semester for EDU 111 and Im really excited to be in her class again.

She's my favorite professor at Moraine. She does give a lot of assignments, but they are all so easy. All these negative reviews are just from people who didn't want to try and put forth the effort. She is not a hard grader whatsoever, and she always answers emails within one day. She's extremely understanding about personal situations, TAKE HER!

Please- if you are going into the Education field- Take Ditchman. If you are passionate about your major, she will do everything in her power to help you succeed. She cares about her students and as long as you keep up with assignments and communicate with her, its impossible not to get an A. Ive gained so much from her and Ill never forget her.

Lots of papers, but its mandated by the state not the school or teacher. She's an easy A. Just turn in all your things and take the tests and quizzes on time and you should do good. Replies fast to emails. A bit confusing in some of the papers but I managed and got a 99 in her class.

The workload is NOT bad! Gail was very clear with due dates and responded quickly. This is the most organized online class. but she is flexible with what to watch. Just work hard and care. There are not a ton of papers to write like some people say. Papers are mandated by the state. Gail will help you no matter what! You won't regret taking her!!!

This was a very interesting course. Gail was very accessible for questions. Assignments are given from the state, so just put in the effort. If you put in no effort, you won't do good. Papers were not hard to write. All assignments were worth the time! I will take Gail again no doubt! She wants you to do good! Great class for summer! Thanks Gail!

Ok, if people thought EDU111 was a ton of work, that's scary. It's the same amount of work as every other course but Ditchman makes it worth your time. Workload is NOT hard/bad. Put in effort and you pass. Ditchman is very easy to contact and ask for help. She should have higher ratings on here. I'll take her again in a minute! Great professor!!!!!

She is easy going and the class layout is self explanatory. She can easily be reached through email and her grading is fair. Not a class with difficult material but obviously you have to do work to earn a good grade still.

This teacher is really dedicated to what she does. In a class about education she truly wants to tell you it all from her experience. Lots of papers with current events, standards, and additional. Plus massive project. But if you stay on top of it, the course is really simple.

This is for literature. The class was simply set. You come in do teamwork and leave. Sometimes there's presentations. Occasionally the teacher would be impatient but still a good teacher. Because the class is for either Lit or Edu credit. You will have some things focused on the Edu aspect. One major project at the end about an author.

Don't know why this professor has bad reviews, shes a great professor. When you email her her response is very vague, but just complete and turn in your assignments and you will get an A. Don't overthink when you complete these assignments. I took her for every EDU class and her grading was always easy.

I don't understand the hate for this professor. She gives a lot of work which I've seen many complain about but that's what comes with working in education. Despite all the work as long as you stay on top of everything, it's a fairly easy class. She responds to emails within 24 hours and is always happy to help.

I took this class online in 4 weeks during the summer. There's no reason for her to have such a low score. If you've taken a basic com class, you'll be fine in her class. I'm not sure if it's because it's a 100-level class and it's mainly freshmen taking her that she has a low score, but her class is beyond easy.

I wanted to take EDU101 with her but her class was full, I had to take it with another professor, and it sucks, DONT take child education class with another professor
