Not the most approachable, but she was very helpful whenever I asked questions on homework. She's a very harsh grader. Very critical of lab reports, and if the reports are not exactly how she wants them you will most likely receive a failing grade. I had a 7am BIO181L with her and it was horrible. She's wasn't helpful with labs and when I or other classmates would ask for help, she responded vaguely and irritably.

Quizzes called RATs and CAPPs make absolutely no sense most of the time, and material is provided on the side to study with, but not actually taught. Pretty useless information during most "lectures," and there is rarely anything to take out of her reading off of boring slides. If you do well on the quizzes, you'll pass, but prepare to struggle.

I had her this semester and I did not like her class or her way of teaching.1-2 worksheets per week for participation that she would then use on the tests. But if you got any of the questions wrong on the paper she wouldn't tell you which ones so it was very hard to study when you don't have the right answers to the questions.

Doesn't have a very positive outlook, but I think it might be because half the class dropped out and is failing. The tests and quizzes often contain pretty obscure questions that aren't in her study guides or kahoots. She's also very "to-the-book" and won't ever curve tests or round up grades. Not the end of the world if you have her, just lock in.

This professor is a good teacher who genuinely cares about student success. They are approachable and explain the material clearly. There are pop quizzes almost every week over reading but are allowed to use notes and four major assignments during the year. Each quiz begins with a prayer. The course includes interacting with people around you.
