She is one of the best math teachers that MCC has.She tries to explain things so that you can understand, even if it involves cute little stories.Her class does require work but she works on a set schedule that she will give to you. You will learn.

Had her for three classes, seek her out. Hot as hell, I actually almost failed Cal 1 because of her allure. Still, she is a very good teacher and will put extra time in to help you out.

Her love for math is contagious. She makes it fun. If you don't understand something she will explain it until you do. She is always willing to help. Intelligent and knowledgable. Great teacher.

I took her online for Intro to Stats. I have taken many internet courses, but she has been THE BEST teacher that I have had so far. She offers so many resources that you get the same amount of information as if you were in an on campus class. She will always go out of her way to make sure that you understand---Recommend for sure!

Took her intro to stats online class- very organized. You can download her lectures/powerpoints- all very helpful. Don't need a book. She likes to get to know you, and applies a lot of the material to real life. Tests were just like the review. Online homework is good too. Should be an easy A. She's also willing to meet if you don't understand.

Brooks was awesome!! I am awful at math but asked to stick behind after class and she helped soooo much!! She is sooo organized and uses her technology!! Could have easily taken her online since she is so organized!

Gail was a great prof! I had her for Cal I and Cal III. Prior to this, I was scared of math but she made it fun. I am now going to Baylor and working on classes towards a BS in Mathematics thanks in part to Ms. Brooks.

I had Mrs. Brooks for Intro to Stats online. This was the first math class I've had in 4 years and I'm not that great at it so I was worried but this class was great! She posts video lectures of her teaching an actual classroom and posts plenty of homework examples. You get to take the 4 tests two times and keep the better grade. Awesome teacher!

Mrs. Brooks is a terrific instructor. I had her for Pre Calc at Baylor and enjoyed her class very much. Her lectures are very thorough, she uses Camtasia and all of the notes are done on the computer, and later put on Blackboard. Very neat and organized, very prepared lessons. Her tests are not killers, but you must study. Homework is done online.

Took Mrs. brooks for Math 1314, 1342 and she is a great teacher! I took these online and yet she was very helpful. I'm currently registered for her calculus class online and math 1332 on campus. this should be fun!

Mrs. Brooks is AWESOME!! I took her for Stats as well and made an A in both classes. I took them both online. She posts video lectures and goes over the notes step by step. The homework and tests are the exact same questions as the notes just different numbers. If i ever have to take another Math class, it will definitely be with her!

Excellent online teacher & class. VERY clear instrx, quick response to questions, lots of help available. Takes lots of online time, but if you put in the time, you'll get a good grade. I hadn't taken a math course in 17 years and I managed to pull an A. That's gotta say something! I highly recommend this teacher and this course.

Ms. Brooks got married during our semester and her named changed to Mrs. Illich - she is a great online instructor -very helpful and has lots of videos to help you learn the material

I took this class online during a minimester session. The workload was appropriate and when I needed help on a unit she skyped me to explain what I was having trouble with. I found her videos and supplements to be very helpful. I do not like math but she made it easy to learn. Overall, I really recommend her. She was always eager to help!

I took her summer semester I online. It was a very difficult class and fast-paced. All of her lectures are on video. She is very nice and will answer all questions if need it. The work load was extreme for summer semester. Spending 4-5 hours every night on Statistics. I recommend to take her in a full semester course, not Summer I or II.

If you are going to take stats and do not understand stats at all please take her. Even though this was an online class she was extremely helpful and very willing to do whatever it took to help you understand. I wish more profs were like this!

This class took a lot of time and dedication. The teacher is great and will help you with anything you need. I took the online summer II semester. Use the homework help and print out all your homework and take notes. It helps a lot. If your a dedicated student you'll do great. I was no math wiz but I got an A in the class.. I took Calculus II online and had no problem communicating with the teacher. She really wants you to do good and as long as you are open to asking questions she is open to answering them.

Professor Illich is a wonderful instructor. Her lessons are clear, concise, and easy to follow. Even though we encounter some advanced statistical concepts, she explains them in a way that is accessible. She's also fully open to questions and concerns. I'd recommend her to anybody taking statistics.

I really dreaded taking statistics due to all the comments made by co workers. But Gail Illich won me over with her welcome video. She was/is so upbeat, friendly, positive. She made me want to jump in and try the course. I liked her homework helps and her availability. Her enthusiasm for this subject was a big help and comfort. I would recommend.

Professor Illich is absolutely WONDERFUL! She is extremely easy to understand and is always available to help! Her homework help and spreadsheets made the class extremely manageable, even in a summer course. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is the first time that I have understood Math. Prof Illich is wonderful! I took this online and was able to work through the problems with her on the video tutorials. I highly recommend Prof Illich.

This class was harder than what I thought it was going to be, but overall I was able to manage this class. Sometimes she would have some stupid math jokes, but it's funny because it's so dumb and related to math hahaha

During the first few weeks of this course I absolutely hated it and was struggling to keep up. Mrs. Illich was able to teach the course in such a way that I was able to hold on. Then, She was willing to work on material with me which allowed me to catch up. She is willing to help you understand but you have to work on your own a lot to get the A.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking this class. Professor Illich is very approachable and easy to talk to. Whenever I needed help she extended her hand and provided thoughtful feedback. While I sometimes found it difficult to fully understand the content being taught I was reassured that, with time, I would begin to understand statistics more. I recommend!

Great teacher, very clear on the material, I took it online and used mymathlab. She was very helpful and there is a section for homework help that shows step by step on problems that may be confusing.I highly suggest Professor Illich for statistics if you need it.

Professor Illich is a very good professor and she knows her material very well. I took the class online so I could print her notes and watch the videos and then take my homework test. Her reviews of the actual unit tests are very well done and if you pay attention and study the material you will make a good grade.

Prof Illich is a good instructor. She teaches the principles you need to master the material. Some of the material is difficult but as an online course you can go back and watch it as needed to get it. She also responds quickly to questions. If you listen to her lectures and do the homework you'll do fine on the test.

I had a lot of anxiety before this class started because math is my biggest weakness by far. Once the course began, all anxiety was gone. I learned a ton of "real world" math skills that I will use confidently for the rest of my life. Thank you.

I took her online class and it was pretty easy. She had lectures for every chapter that were in between from 30-1 hour. They are super , so watch them. She has reasonable deadlines. I would defiantly take her again.

Online class is easy, but time consuming. Each unit took approx.3 hours each. Test are exactly like homework. Understanding when I would get behind. Do the study guide for final, bonus for final test grade, test is just like it. Drops lowest test , two chances on each test. Had 83 all semester and made A on final and finished with an A.

She is a very knowledgeable professor and has a pretty clear lecture lines in youtube. There are some extra credits, another chance to take exams, and easy to get a hold of usually. However, just like all classes, you all have to work for it and not just show up and get an A. I will take this class again if I have too.

I took Professor Illich online for math 1332 and had a great expirence! Math in general is hard for me, but she was very helpful! She lives out of state, but does video conferences with you whenever something dosen't make sense or you need further explaining. I would for sure recommend this professor! She's nice and makes the course doable.

She is the hardest oworking online teacher I have ever had. Responds even to texts. Very understanding to work flow issues. Excellent online instructions. For a nurse that has been out of school for 10 years, she was amazing!

Her class wasn't a blow-off course, but yet easily do able! She lives out of state, but will make anytime to have a video conferences to help you! Her homework per unit is usually fair, and gives homework help videos! I would defiantly take her again for any math courses.

Professor Illich is fantastic. Quick to respond to phone calls and emails. I'm an English person, not a math person. I still had no problem understanding the concepts because of her lectures and all the tools she offers. I'm confident I will end this class with a high B or low A. I will definitely register for her classes again if possible.

Good class if you take it online you will have to do video chat to verify that you are you. She also uses video chat to help you with homework. You have unlimited tries on the homework which is 30% of your grade, so you can't get below 100 on homework. The tests are super short but they are hard and 60% of grade. Final Exam is 10% of grade.

Prof. Illich is AMAZING. She helped us in any way and made everything crystal clear the entire semester. She is based out of Nebraska and taught on a webcam, but she never let that barrier get in the way of teaching. Class was easy and the times were fun.

Would not have taken this class if I knew it was going to be a cyber class just because I had not been in one before. But I loved it! And I'll be taking her again for STATS! She is great at breaking down problems to make them easier to understand. She's nice.

She is an amazing teacher!!! Have not had a math class since the 1990's. I was so scared of statistics, but with her teaching methods I overcame my fear. There is no reason why not to make an A. You get up to 3 chances to improve your grade on quizzes only. If I ever have to take another math class, I will make sure it is with her.

She is a great online stats teacher! She has so many videos of examples for most of the work that it makes it so much smoother to finish all her homework. Would definitely recommend.

Prof. Illich is amazing- easy A. You get to repeat homework probs as many times as you want, so easy 100. She does homework help videos for many of the problems & they walk you thru it step by step. I did not use the textbook but purchase was required to access website she uses for the class. 2 chances to take each test & lowest test grade dropped.

Also, there will be lecture notes that will help you through the semester.2 attempts/test. Tests are from the hw, and the oral test is very simple, easy. If you know basic pc skills take this class! Really great! Took Cal 2 online with her and she was always really helpful. The only downside is that there's a lot of homework but she makes it to where you need to get an 80 on the homework before taking the quiz, and you have to take the quiz before taking the test. Because of that as long as you do decent on test&quizzes you will pass!!!

TAKE HER FOR STAT! She's a great professor. Took Stat online, not too difficult at all. You can work at the hw until you make a 100. Tests are literally hw questions. She is available if you need help. She has videos of almost all homework problems to watch her work that exact problem. Just make sure to take time to do hw, you'll make an A.

Took Cal 2 online in a 5 week summer semester. I won't lie, it was tough.. but Cal 2 isn't expected to be easy. You need to be sure you have plenty of time set aside to watch the lectures, do the homework, quizzes, and tests. You meet thru video chat once a week. As long as you watch the videos and do the assignments you can make a good grade!

Quick to respond. She gave her cell phone number out for our online class so we could always reach her. Super sweet.

Her class is used with 2-way technology, so she basically isnt physically there as a teacher. If you need a physical teacher dont take this class.

Great professor. She has lecture videos up for every unit, so its easy to follow along. She also has videos to help you out through most of the homework questions. Her videos are super helpful! Her final is taken through zoom, but nothing to worry about, she just wants to make sure its you. Also lets you use notes on all your test.

I am not good in math so I don't know why I decided to take a math class online, but this class wasn't so bad. She drops the lowest test grade and you can do the homework until you get the grade you desire. I would recommend her. She's also available to help you if you need her.

I am terrible at math & was very anxious coming into this course. She made everything a breeze! Make sure you look at her homework help videos those helped me throughout the semester. She gets back to you super quickly with questions & is very understanding. Ive never made an A in my life in math and managed an A with her.

I took this course this past spring. I like Prof. Illich's teaching/lectures as she mentioned she had difficulty with math thus tries to teach it in a way to be easily understood. She's offsite - in Nebraska!! But is accessible. There are a couple of video chats & and the final is video proctored by her, but don't panic - it's not difficult.

Math is not my strong suit so I was very nervous for having to take math and for it being online but she was very helpful!! The homework assignments were easy if you followed along with her homework help videos! You could also use your notes and previous homework for the tests. She even rounded me up to an A when it was supposed to be a high B!

Math 1342_89 online. She was available via zoom, text, or call. Responded fast! AMAZING PROF! TAKE HER! Multiple homework assignments, can be redone until you reach 100. Approx 4 tests, you can repeat 2X each. She has an oral exam, which was to prove you are the one doing the work, easy 100. Then there is a proctored comprehensive exam, take once.

Professor Illich was always very available for any questions or concerns. You will spend a very good amount of time on her homework, but the good thing is that some of those same questions show up on the test. KEEP ALL YOUR NOTES! Every problem you work out. Keep it organized. Thank me later.

Professor Illich was one of the best professors I have had in my college career. The way her class is set up makes it difficult to fail. You have to do all of the homework and turn in all of your work but as long as you try, you will easily pass. She is also very quick to email back and helps you with any homework problems.

Professor Illich is one of the best teachers I've had. She gives detailed instructions and even has videos with her going over homework problems (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THESE). There is a lot of homework, but if you do it you will be prepared for the test. I have NEVER made anything higher than a "C" in any math class and made an A+ in this class

I took Cal 2 online. Prof Illich is really good at online teaching and always made sure we knew the material. Be careful of falling behind. All the homework and quiz deadlines are the day of the test, so procrastinating is a painful process those last few days. Highly recommend.

She will show you how to do the problems on Excel and most of the material she teaches on will be the same thing in the homework and the tests

Prof. Illich made statistics really fun and easy. I passed the course with flying colors because she genuinely wants the student to succeed and that makes a huge difference. I also finished the class in half the time because it just worked out that way and she was super accommodating about taking Zoom tests early.

My online statics professor is the best I've ever had. The class is super user-friendly, at your own pace, with unlimited homework attempts and two exam tries. Just attend and do the class, and you'll get an A.
