Karin Cash is honestly the best professor I have ever had. Not many professors make me sad to leave at the end of the quarter. She taught everything very clearly. She isn't easy but she's fair. She expects you to do the work and study hard. I loved everything about her, her teaching style and her sense of humor especially.

Karin is very knowledgeable about the various aspects of remodeling or construction process. She did a great job of incorporating projects that the students had and tailored her presentations towards the issues that have arisen during those projects. She doesn't use a straight lecture approach, so this keeps things fresh and entertaining.

This course is one that I would suggest to ANYONE who is either buying a home, selling a home, plans on being a homeowner or is working in the real estate field. Karin made the class interesting, fun and uses real world examples/demonstrations to drive home textbook concepts.

This is a great class to take if buying a home, selling a home. She has given real life views of the real estate industry-(Plumb, HVAC, Elect) world with photos and show in tell objects. I would recommend anyone to take Karin class. P.S. Tell Karin "The cheese stands alone" she will know.

Not only is the information invaluable, but I've never had a teacher who cared more about her students. Karin is very concerned with her students having a real understanding of the material. I especially appreciate that she asks "does that answer your question" whenever she responds to someone. There is a lot of material in the class, but it seems like she hits all the essentials pretty thoroughly.

This class was very helpful and very practical in nature. We discussed things you could actually do in a future house project. The only element that would be nice if added to the class is to some how incorporate real world project. I know this would be difficult but similar to an art class where you paint discuss an artist and then you paint it.

I have enjoyed this class and would recommend it to anyone interested in property renovations. Professor Cash keeps the interest and respect of the entire class and she definitely does not allow it to get boring. Excellent Professor, if you want to learn practical information relevant to real estate rehabs and construction this is the class to take. It is not extremely in depth, so it can be understood by someone with no background, but even someone in the business of real estate will learn every class. One of the best instructors I have met!

I have 16 years of practice as a licensed Realtor and the information given in this class is used on a daily basis while dealing with clients, contractors & real estate investing. Teacher-exceptionally well versed in teaching skills and actively applies them in every class.

Karin was very intense on making sure everyone gained "something" from the lectures Personally, she would make me feel as though it wasn't just what the course work was about, but what I knew from past experience that was coincidental with the coursework as well. She was very "matter of fact" in her style along with pointing very important points

ALL test are written so one have to be in class and pay attention. One must study. She gave hands on examples that really made the class fun. She had wonderful powerpoints full of examples to understand what items were and how they were used. She was very big in participation. We enjoyed the different construction jobs she shared with us. Professor Karin Cash truly cares about your education! There is a lot of material that is covered in Real 2275-001 and she very good at asking if she needs to slow down or speed up as well as checking in to see if anything needs to explained in more detail. She brings in materials such as isulation, and plumbing to better understand the topic.

She was great caring and really wants everyone to really learn whats shes teaching and will do whatever it is that helps you learn better and it willing to stay after class to answer any questions. Karin is an amazing professor. She's hilarious, shows pictures of her super cute dogs, she cares about her students so much! Her tests are no joke. No multiple choice here. I was regretting going back to a traditional classroom setting because it had been a while and I was taking my other classes online. She sparked the passion for learning back!!!

It is so refreshing to have a teacher that really makes an effort to get to know the students and really care about our success in the class and beyond. She should teach a class on how to teach a class. My only regret is I didn't take her class sooner.

I have no construction background, but nbd. GKC always encouraged my opinons comments, and questions. GKC has a genuine passion for subject and literally makes the class! The content is based on her own experience working closely w/ industry for 20 years. From a practical standpoint you need to take this class but GKC makes class lively and fun!

I've waited two years to take this course, and it was definitely worth the wait and more! I have learned more in this course for my hopeful career than all the others put together. Practical and useful information is packed into this course, and the teacher's open discussion format, clear and useful context has made it one of my "go-to" references!

I enjoyed having Karin as my professor. She kept topics alive with her comical personality and made learning fun. I learned there is much more to renovation than materials and labor. Although, she brought many materials for show and tell, I would have liked to have more of a hands on experience.

I will say, Karin is by far my favorite professor in my college career. That says a lot because I have a masters degree and now I am studying for the real estate exam! I've had a million professors and I've learned the most from Karin. Very intriguing and teaches us the concept of thought, which I will carry throughout my career! Thank u Karin!

Prof. Cash has a different teaching style than most instructors I've come across. Not a lot of assignments, but very practical. She's more sincere than most people you'll meet. I selected the lecture heavy tag because while there were books, slides, and supplemental reading involved, most of the learning is done by taking part in class discussions.

Definitely one of my favorite real estate professors, the class is not test heavy and little to no homework. our first project was to build a 3d house which was a lot of fun. best 3-hour class you will ever take

Personable, entertaining, & passionate about helping students to think critically and analytically and help them succeed. Very knowledgeable about the subject matter. Slides can be slightly disorganized or have grammatical errors. Annoying that the books were listed as mandatory but never even used or needed. Test questions can be vague.

Very willing to work with you if you work with her! Always making sure all is well. Class isn't fly by easy but if you give your best it shows. It's practical and not just based off what you can retain! Out of the 5 teachers I have had there is only two teachers I'd ever sit through class with again and she is for sure one them.
