CRAZY GOOD TEACHER!! One of the best teachers I've ever had. He makes a tough subject a little less tough. He is always there if you ever need help. Tests are really difficult though. There's no homework so don't expect to make-up some points for a bad test grade.

This guy is the reason i'm a chem major! tough tests, but does everything in his power to help you and make sure you understand the material. Lectures are very entertaining! Taking him for organic chem next semester and knowing that he is my teacher really takes the edge off the scary subject. Very Highly recommended!

Hilarious!! Very engaging, but exams are hard. Class exam average is routinely 65%. Rely on lab reports to bring up your grade... do not miss a lab report!! Galen is always here to answer your stupid questions and if you have chronic illnesses he is very understanding. He does not require you to attend lecture, but it's crucial for doing well.

One of the best chemistry professors. He is hard, no doubt about it, but his lectures are phenomenal and he is a great guy as well as a great teacher. Be aware he shouts sometimes so talk to him before class if you have PTSD or something. Incredible teacher and incredible person, 10/10 for chemistry for sure.

Super, super, super nice guy, and a very ethusiastic teacher. Knows what he's talking about. Ochem, however, has not been my subject. Of all the teachers for this class, though, he's no doubt one of the most understanding. Be respectful and don't slack off and you'll be okay.
