This was honestly one of the best professors I have ever had. She'll take her time to explain anything until you understand. You can expect a few quizzes, graded homework, and reviews before a test. Don't bother buying the book though. It's in MyMathLab, which is also the homework. Basically do the homework and you'll pass. The material is easy.

Professor Galindo is the best math professor I've ever had. If your not good at math, take her. She explains the material clearly. Expect homework on my math lab which helps you prepare for quizzes and test. She cares for her students. She goes the extra mile so her students understand. You won't regret taking this class she is helpful and sweet.

GREAT TEACHER. MyMathLab is apart of the class. DO YOUR WORK! It is very helpful. Do not miss class when there is a quiz she does not let you make up quizzes BUT she does drop your lowest 2-3 scores for quizzes (she will let you know). I hate math but she explains things so you can understand it.

Also had her for MAT 0029. Super nice and more than willing to help you out if you don't understand the material. Gives out reviews for the tests and extra credit points. Very caring! Just don't be obnoxious during her lectures. Just buy the mymathlab, she'll go over everything you need to know from the textbook.

Professor Galindo is a very charming woman who is great at explaining if you have any questions. She grades easily the tests and she is fantastic.

She really cares. The homework assignments are a little difficult but she does this to better prepare you for the tests. She really does make herself available to help. Pay attention and do the homeworks and I promise all will be good.

I took both MAT1033 and MAC1105 with her, I came into her class not even knowing what an exponent was, I had no idea how to do Algebra and it seemed like such an abstract subject; I came out with not only a very strong understanding of what seemed like an abstract field, but also a strong love for it. TAKE HER CLASS!

Explains things very well and is very patient, especially during office hours, I always went to her and she was so helpful. I wish she taught that math I'm taking next semester. It's a math class what can you expect... lots of mathlab and tests are important however prof. Galindo works with her students, is very accessible, and has very clear lectures. Attendance does make a difference & don't leave homework for last min. To pass this class all you need is good attendance & after every lecture go complete to assigned HW.

She made me realize that practice does make perfect. Yes, you will have MathLAB, but it is the only guaranteed way you will pass. She provides a review for every test, homework, is available for office hours/review sessions. This was my THIRD time taking MAT1033 and I can say I have been able to successfully pass for my third attempt!

Mac 2311. Great professor, has a handout for every class and explains perfectly. If you need help she will give it to you and makes learning fun. I guess the only reason you should avoid her is if you don't speak Spanish

I had her this year for math and I honestly was blown away by how she teaches. I had a bit of background on the subject bc of high school but all the help she gives us made all the work seem so doable and so much easier than I was ever shown. I would take her class hands down any day.

The best math professor I have had so far at Dade. I will most definitely be taking her for Calculus 2. Expect to do a lot of homework because that's whats going to help you pass. She cares a lot and has awesome office hours. The people putting bad reviews, are the ones expecting the teacher to hand-hold them all the way.

Professor Galindo is pretty chill. She does assign A BIT of homework online so be prepared. The review sheets are what help you for the tests, she wont let you use notes so if you do the review sheets you should be good. Do not skip class because she does take attendance. Just do the homework and pass the exams, it is not hard but do not be lazy>

Professor Galindo is not only an exceptional professor , she is also a special person. I took her for a summer short term class, which i don't recommend to anyone(too much material in too short period of time). But because of her very organized method of teaching and the support that she gives to her students I was able to pass her class with a B.

I took a 6 weeks long course, so that may be why she required that much homework, but it was doable and it did make a lot of sense. It wasnt busy work because it really prepared you for the test.

Took her for Calc 2. The subject itself is tough. She gives Lots of hw but it does help and if you do and understand the hw and test reviews she gives then youre golden. Dr. Galindo is a great professor! There are 4 tests and an optional final. Homework and Quizes are online. Calculus is a hard subject but she explains it well, there are extra credit opportunities, and two projects that can help you raise your grade. Take her!

Definitely A LOT of hw but it really helps you understand and grasp the concepts. Hw are due before the exams therefore theyre your study guide. She cares for the students and is accessible at different hours of day. Just pay attention, do your hw, study for tests and you should be fine

Her class is a little difficult especially because I saw it in the summer and it was all cramped up, however, she is an amazing teacher that goes slow and makes sure everyone is at the same pace and is understanding. She explains math very well and is a very sweet and nice teacher.

Professor Galindo is a great professor! I took her for MAC 1106 and MAC 1114. Her lectures are very clear and informative, and she's always willing to help you with any questions you have. There is a lot of homework, but all the questions in the homework are similar to the test. If you pay attention and study, you'll pass.

Professor Galindo goes above and beyond to make sure you get what she is teaching, and if you don't understand she's willing to help you get it. She bases 70% of your grade on tests. So, if you have test anxiety, it is going to be a hard class for you.

She's a very organized professor. She will give you a good calculus 1 foundation. The final is optional, she will replace the final with the lowest test score (4). She cares about students helping each other out, so she'll have you make a group that'll be your support group for the semester. She cares about your learning and is overall really good

Dr. Galindo is an amazing teacher and truly cares about her students. For me, her tests were never very diffuclt and we have cheat sheets for some. The one thing though is that Calc 2 is VERY homework heavy. Make sure to not leave that to the last minute. Im taking her for Calc 3 rn and she's awesome. Definitely would take her again.

Professor Galindo is honestly just the best, her classes are not as you would expect for a Math class, if the class has a good chemistry there is time for jokes and even just talk about life. I will say though, Calculus 2 is a very heavy subject and not easy, however if you stay on top on top of your HW you should be fine honestly; good luck!

OMG. She is UNIQUE. Took Calc II & III with her, and I wish Calc I as well. She is fun, interesting, caring, and amazing. You will love class and learn lots! Do be engaged!
