SLS 1103 with Professor Taborn is certainly a teacher who is very passionate about her work and students. Reading the previous post, you get what you put into anything you do, if you looking for easy college is not an easy road to tackle. Her class consists of two tests, two reports and a pop quiz, class participation is mandatory.

Professor Taborn loves teaching but is very hard and gives alo t of homework o do. she goes a little overboard if I may say so but she does try to help in any way she can. She counts attendance off for a grade and with that also class participation so if you miss one class you not only get off 1 but 2 things. if yo like a lot of work shes perfect!

What to say about Professor Taborn? She is a very kind professor who wishes the best for her students.. May take her course a little too seriously but can't fault her for it personally. If you are in a SLS class it's for a reason, so suck it up and deal with having to take it. Professor Taborn will get you accustomed to being in school again.

Professor Taborn is an A+ teacher. She goes over and beyond to reassure that her students become the best that they can be. Very Honest, Welcoming personality. I highly recommend Professor Taborn.

Taborn is a great, she really cares and is fair.i must say , overall the class was a pretty easy course. but she kinda confused you with the assignments. however she does give extra credit as well as drop a grade to help you. I would take her again

This is my second semester in the Bachelors program and I was a little scared because I have never taken an online class. Professor Taborn's dedication and availability makes the class easy to understand and pass. She reminds me of the type of teachers I had when I was in school, she really cares!!

It's an easy class to pass. She is very motivated about being a professor and she expects the same from her students which isn't a bad thing. Participation is key. She is also very understanding. I had to skip class and she was okay with it as long as she was notified.

Professor Taborn, is awe-inspiring! fun class, but she keep it real throughout the process. Class was exciting she is so energetic, my energy level improved just being her presence. Professor Taborn is excellent! The class was very engaging and participation matters. Test are a little difficult, but if you read you should be just fine. There are two assignments based on genograms and two to three chapters to read weekly with short quizzes and the discussions which account for majority of your grade.

Professor Taborn is an excellent professor. She responded back to me before 24 hours with any issues I had. The quizzes were a little tough but overall easy class. Do the work, read the required chapters and you will do well in the class. Would take this professor again.

Professor Taborn was one of my two first professors for college, I was extremely nervous about attending and what it would be like. She has made my college experience wonderful and easy to learn and get the hang of things how they work. Taking her class also helped me decide on a career I want to pursue.

Professor T is AWESOME, have you ever felt like going to class was stressful? NOT POSSIBLE WITH HER CLASS! Honestly, listen to the class room ask thousands of questions, if you stay over time you get extra credit points, simple homework that you get a week to complete. The quizzes can be taken twice and the better of the two is your grade. SO EASY!

Professor Taborn is excellent at communication. She stays in touch with the students. She does not slam you with tons of assignments, but the ones that she does assign really cover the topic. I would definitely take her classes again.

As on-line classes go, this one was good. It was heavy on the reading but that's to be expected with no lectures. Professor Taborn graded things quickly and gave good feedback.

This was a challenging course; reading is highly encouraged. Test were difficult and testing site wasn't always cooperative and I am pretty sure the timer is defective, but I appreciated the challenge.

Lots of reading. The tests are difficult and the questions are really confusing. The are worth a lot of points too. Discussions are fairly simple. Observation project was pretty cool although the paper that it required after is a little complicated but not to bad.

I enjoyed this teacher she gives good lectures, but you have to read a lot. You have to participate, and she is tough on grading but you know where you stand. She also grades papers pretty quickly.

She is there for you if you fall off track. Very good professor. I have much respect!

Learned so much from this Professor. She is a true professional. Not afraid to adjust syllabus to make it easier for the students. Wants everyone to succeed. Accepts late work up to 3 days at a 5 point deduction each day. Grades quickly so you don't have to wonder. Taking again!

OMG! you will love her! Straight to the point. Very compassionate towards her students. she loves to give bonus points, she is not a hard grader but she expects you to do your work that's assigned. She will seriously MOTIVATE you. She is the most encouraging person I know. She will never call you out in front of people, very respectful of you.

I'm in my junior year and never have I had a professor that was this serious or amazing about helping you achieve scholastic and professional success as she is. Professor Taborn is passionate about her profession and now has become one of my "SHe-Ro's" in my life. Awesome!

Professor Taborn teaches several different courses in the Bachelor of Human Services program at FSCJ. She cares a lot about her students and wants them to pass. She will give extra credit opportunities. However, you must show up as attendance is mandatory even if remote. Included about 6 quizzes, Discussion boards every other week and a paper.

Professor Taborn really cares about her students. She was the first professor I took for my Bachelor's of Human Services. She makes sure that you have all the tools and resources you need to succeed. There were 3 discussion boards, 3 writing assignments, 2 quizzes, 1 midterm, and 1 final exam. Show up, participate, and do the work and you'll pass.

Professor Taborn goes above and beyond for her students and their success. She will actively help you with whatever you need. Class is mandatory, but the lectures are interesting and it's more conversation then anything. I would 10/10 recommend, as I have taken her twice. She may seem a little tough at first, but I promise you she is the best.
