Gary is the BEST professor! He really cares about your future. He puts you in real life situations to help prepare you for the business world. He has experienced a lot, so he knows what he's talking about! AND he doesn't give exams, so be prepared to contribute in class. No textbook required.

He is extremely knowlegable and accessible to everyone. More to the point, he will assist you in translating the academic world into real experiences. I have never had anyone like him. He is terrific.

There is nothing that is said that doesn't have relevance. But you don't realize how much until after the course is over and you see what's going on in the real world he talks about. He will challenge everything you think and then inspire you to rethink and live differently.

I took his course last semester. It was a great learning experience and he is a great teacher, I am taking his current one. Anyone saying that they got a B+ but did A work, is full of it. Everyone in class agrees he is very fair and his class should be taken by everyone. He teaches professionalism with real-life examples. It is ordinary stuff.

Just took his course. He has a plan and it becomes obvious later rather than sooner but it is completely worth waiting for. His teaching is a different style than anything I have experienced but I have learned more from him than any other professor I have ever had. Don't miss this. We all looked forward to this class.

College scared me and he was my very first class. He was different and I was not sure what to expect. It was not easy and I worked my butt off for it but I feel like I would take this course again just to have him teach me more.

He does not require that much work, like assignments but you should be prepared to speak in class if you want a good impression and grade. I have been at another college as well for my associates. Finishing up here at Buffalo State. Had a lot of instructors. Never saw anyone care anywhere like he does. This isn't just about the class but about who you are and what you will deliver against what will be expected. I am finished after this semester but wish I could take more.

Class is taught a little outside the box, compared to classes where you come in take notes and leave. One of the main focuses is shaping people, he doesn't just look at the class as one person, but he looks at the class as individuals! Participation is mandatory, so just make sure you ask questions and are willing to participate in class!

By far the most beneficial class I have taken. Professor Burger is very passionate about what he wants to teach you. I took this class spring semester 2016. When I first took enrolled in this class I thought it was going to be another boring lecture class. Wow. Professor Berger is very intimidating at first. His class is all participation with few assignments. This semester is different than others. We meet on zoom once a week, each class he lectures and gives you information for your quizzes, midterm, and final. He truly cares and gives you a lot of real world business scenarios that matter.

Professor Berger was the best professor I ever had in Buff State! I had him during Fall 2021. Due to Covid 19, he decided to change up his lectures. In every class we basically had a discussion with him on different topics, no homework was assigned, and there were two mini group projects/presentations. I took so much knowledge from this class!!

We had three presentations and a paper. I can actually say I have learned so much and have gotten better at presenting just taking this class & real life topics

Great professor, 4 mini quizzes that are 4-5 questions each and is 20% of grade/ 80% is participation, Final paper(solo), attendance, group presentation. No takehome HW, this class was amazing and its more a hands on group discussion class. I loved coming to this class and the professor is a mentor figure in my eyes. I 100% recommend Mr Berger

Professor Berger makes this class engaging and practical. With no textbook and a focus on discussion, you'll learn real-world business skills. The workload is manageable, and Unstuckstudy proved to be a helpful study tool alongside the in-class experience. Definitely worth taking this professor's class!

The best professor I had coming into my freshman year. Very detail oriented and straight to the point. Participation does matter. Show up and give your best, might be your chance tho network with a very successful business man.
