His tests are easy if you do the study guide and listen to the concepts he emphasizes in class. Watch out for his "stay strong in the gospel" lectures. They occurred a lot and became repetitive and less effective. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

professor booth is passionate about biology and it shows in every lecture. sometimes he is unclear, but he has a very good notebook/syllabus that follows along with all of the lectures. i never used the book because i could learn everything between lectures and the notebook/syllabus. he is a great man, helpful and caring. but it isn't all easy.

Funny teacher! Very entertaining! You must go to class because there are in-class quizzes. Oh and dont bother reading the textbook..it will just confuse you more! Professor Booth is awesome. He's a bit eccentric, yes, but what good Biology teacher isn't? His syllabus pretty much spells out exactly what you should study, so if you follow it, you should be able to get a good grade. Read the book for reinforcement, but you might not even need to do that. Take the class just for Professor Booth, if nothing else.

AMAZING class!I was never a huge fan of Biology until Dr. Booth. There are quizes at the beginning of lecture but if you go over the syllabus right before, there are easy. Dr. Booth was very enthusiastic about biology and that is evident through his teaching. However, sometimes he can get off topic in his lectures. I feel like I learned more from the TAs during lab than from him, personally. If you're struggling in the class, he is very willing to help you out.

This was a hard class, but Dr. Booth is a fairly good teacher. Try to keep up with the reading and start the projects early. Expect more work than a typical 2 credit class, you will cover a lot of information!
