Outstanding guy! There is a considerable amount of work to do in this course as there is a short paper due each week in addition to the typical forum posts. That being said, if you do the work to the standard he is fair with his grading but he does not give it away. He provides great feedback, grades in a reasonable time and is all around great.

Great class, All question were quickly answered and grades were good. It was time consuming but not hard by any means ... take it with Prof Deel if you want a GPA boost and some good class knowledge.

Tough but fair grader. I would personally like to see more participation and less papers. Raise the requirements on forums vs. crunching in a paper in a weeks time. great class, this is college but the work wasn't overly hard as long as you keep up during the week you won't get behind. only 2 papers and 3 quizzes that is all in the book and from the forums. I recommend this professor for all classes that you can find. he really cares about the topics and that you understand and can use in your every day life.

Good class overall. I would recommend take time out to read the book. Cliff notes won't work. But he requires new references on all papers including forums. Which should be there anyway. He is a stickler with grammar. I would have someone read over for just in case matter. But I WOULD recommend him to anyone

My Instructor was the Best I had. Encouraged me to work harder week after week, In addition, going back to the begin of my course and comparing to my Final paper at the end of my course My instructor made a huge difference in my understanding and writing skills.

Professor Deel provided great materials, feedback, encouragement, and resources to assist with the course. We completed several projects and papers that pushed us to contribute a lot more than we thought we could give. The class was interesting and thought provoking.

This was my first class with Professor Deel, and this was by far the easiest class I have taken. I sincerely learned a lot, but what made this class easy was that Gary Deel explained everything clearly in the course lessons and through the forums. We had 2 quizzes (graded on a B curve), forums weekly, and 2 papers that were word required, not page.

I had a preconceived notion that I would not like this class before I took it, but I actually really enjoyed it. Professor Deel is awesome. He listens and gives constructive criticism. I really enjoyed his class.

Excellent online professor who works with students to help them succeed through the course material. The issue is the mid-term exams and final exams, you either have to have outstanding study habits, and photographic memory, or maybe some kind soul will post/share a good study guide one day. I got a A- in the course but I had to fight hard for it.

This was one of the more profound and interesting courses I've taken at APU. There was real value to participating outside of trying to get the grade, but you will certainly need to work for an A. Regardless, a great course with a great professor!

Prof Deel was informative, gave clear and timely feedback, and I walked away learning more from this class than I had anticipated. He also grades on a B curve so that could be beneficial for some that struggle with research and papers. Get ready to work but it will be worth it in the end for sure!

Professor Gary Deal is an amazing lecturer. He takes his work seriously and expects full and meaningful contributions from everyone in his class. He does not accept mediocre work, he like well researched papers and provide excellent feedback that sends you back to the drawing board.

As a single parent/active duty military member professor Deel made it possible for me and others in class to have time to turn in work. Even if it was a little late, he has an understanding of the fact that most of the people taking these online classes are doing it with a lot on their plates and is willing to work with them. Gary was very fair and understanding. I was in my last 8 weeks of pregnancy when I started his class he was great about it and had no problem with giving me extra time when my baby came a week early. Professor Deel will go out of his way to reach out to you and make sure you understand the content and if anything is needed on his end to help you get through the course. The most I ever got marked down in terms of grades is for minor grammar and situation technicalities. Just ensure you double check your work and you will do just fine.

Mr Deel kept the class interesting while relating the topics to what is currently happing in corporate America. Online class requires reading and self motivation, but Mr. Deel never bored me with the chosen content. I learned knew information to apply in my current feel. I feel the work presented was graduate level and improved upon my skills.

This was probably one the few classes I truly enjoyed. If you did the work, you got a good grade. You have to put the work in though, that is the only reason I said "Easy A" for this. I did the work and I got the grade. I am sure if you don't do the work, then you won't get the grade. The professor was great and I honestly did enjoy this class.

Professor Deel responded on all discussion boards and asked challenging questions that would make you look deeper into the given subject. He also would post links with papers or articles he has written on different topics. His articles are self-explanatory and easy to understand. I would retake his classes at any given time.

The class was very insightful and Dr. Deel was upfront and gave good feedback. It is important to stay up on the reading material and incorporate your lessons into your discussion posts.

As with ALL APUS courses, participation posts (and responses) are necessary. The assignments are easy, and can actually be quite creative and fun. The rubric is clear, and the instructor is one of the few here that is genuinely fantastic. This course is a no-brainer, and the instructor is not at all pretentious or difficult. Wish he taught more!

Professor Deels' course was a breath of fresh air. There were a couple of assignments but if you do your part, you will get an A. I had never even heard of ADR before this course and actually learned a lot. Easy grader and he does not bury you in homework or an obscene amount of discussion post replies where you end up repeating yourself.

Great teacher with excellent content. The only issue was the grading of APA references without adequate feedback or a returned paper with suggestions. PERFECT your APA format skills and you will do fine.

Very easy class to get an A in discussion topics are very straightforward, all your really need is a decent reply he's not strict on word count. The workload is also light with only 2 essays and 2 quizzes.
