Very unfair grading scale..this is not Yale. Personal speeches,tricky popquizzes

Easy class. He's a bit of a smart-ass, but who cares. His class is easy, I got an A, that's all that matters.

This professor really cares, but if you don't keep up with the class, then you will have some problems. His lectures are very easy to remember and his quizzes/tests are definatly deal with what the lectures cover.

Turned an interesting speech class into one of the most frustrating events of my academic career. You will be required to read the book from cover-to-cover. Seems to use teaching as a forum to satisfy his ego. Tricky quizzes, dictatorial teaching style.

I can't understand how people can do poorly in this class...it isn't high school. You cannot half-ass everything and expect to get a good grade. Prof. Fallon is an AWESOME teacher, and while there is a lot of work, if you work hard, you'll get an A.

I don't understand why people say he's tricky, etc. but this has got to be the easiest class. The prof. is cool, and he makes the class interesting. He practictly spoonfeeds you the answers to the tests/quizes with these "killer" review sheets. Bottom line- a really great class.

He's a very knowledgeable and fun teacher!! His choice of materials are interesting and his class is never boring! You will definitely learn! Highly recommended!

One of the best college teachers i've ever had! Not a hard class, but i learned alot. Very fun!

Although it may seem sometimes during his lecture like the guy's on drugs or something, he's one of the best profs i've had. He gives you these great review sheets that basically tells you the questions to the test. I'd recommend this class to anyone.

good class. if you do the work, you are guarantee an a. only down side to him is the fact he will never let you out early.

If you don't get an A, it's because you didn't come to class. Gives tons of extra credit and the speeches are graded very easily! One of the best professors i've had at BCC or anywhere else.

Strange guy but I found him to be pretty entertaining. Class is an easy A.

He's an awsome teacher. I made the mistake of missing a few classes here and there, so I did not pass. Listening to his lectures is key to half the tests. And do the homework!!! And don't be shy. And do the review sheet. After that, it's an easy A. No joke.

Pretty Good Teacher. He lectures forever, it seems like he loves the sound of his own voice. Don't ever expect to get out early. His tests are very easy and he gives a great review sheet. Overall it's a pretty good class.

great guy, funny, entertaining, his class is never boring, yet he would never let you out a minute earlier. lots of assignments, they all count, so do them all. i enjoyed his class very much, easy "A" if you are always at class. I recommend him highly.

Very entertaining, easy but tricky tests, a lil anal about being on time. His class teaches you about real world situations rather than just plain old textbook.

H is the best professor I had so far in this campus. I highly recommended to any one who interest in taking his class. You will enjoy it as I had enjoyed. He is one of the best.

I loooved this class! He was very fun and interesting and he made all of the students warm up to each other gradually. By the time the class was over I was sad to leave. He was tough and pretty anal on tardiness, but a good teacher.

He's a great teacher and hes always got a joke to say, if its funny or not. The class isn ot hard at all as long as you look over the reviews and take good notes you will do fine. I recommend him for everyone who has to take a public speaking/communications class.

Very good teacher!! Of all the other classes, you feel like you can't use them in real life, but this one seems like you can use it in everyday life...would take the class over if I had to.

HE was the best teacher i have ever had! he was very clear on what he wanted. This class would be impossible not to do well unless you just didnt show up. This class has been the most useful class I have ever taken. i learned so many things that i still use every day.

He was the best teacher ever. I learned so many things from his class. his tests are really easy 9he gives you study guides that have almost everything that will be on the test). He is funny and always there to help. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Great Professor!!! He is really interesting and make class fun. I earned an "A" in the class. Straight forward class. His reviews for the test are too simple. Do the review get a good grade because the review resembles the test a little and study!!

Other than him being completely mistrusting of his students cheating on his tests by making us sit in different directions from each other, which really got annoying to the end, Professor Fallon in very entertaining and animated in his classes. He is almost a genetic hybrid of Jeff Goldblum and Ron Popeil.

great teacher interesting class. it will help u in the real world. do the homework, quiz review and the test review and u will get an A! fallon has lots of energy and enthusiasm! its impossible to get bored. everything has a review so its all on u what your final grade is!! great experience very recomended

This is the only Prof. the made a lasting impression on me. If you pay attention in class, you could learn serious practical skills. Grading consists of tests, attendance, and class presentations. Do no be afraid of class presentations, everybody have to do them.

The fact that this Professor clearly loves what he does is only topped by his willingness to help. If you are someone who loathes Public Speaking this Prof will have you actually enjoying if not ... at the very least .... loose your inhibitions. His relaxed style coupled with his obvious passion for the subject make this class well worth taking.

Really nice man, a very easy class make sure you do all the work he asks of you!!! and get all your speech topics approved early because he may not like them and wont u to make up some more.

As easy as a course can get, but what could you expect from a speech class. If you want an easy A take prof Fallon. He seems to like what he does and will make you feel comfortable while giving your speech. If you have to take a speech class take him, you won't regret it.

I wish every Prof. I had was like him. He really made the class fun, interesting, and just fly by. As long as you went to every class, did the homework, and used the study guides given (the quizes/tests were straight from the study guides) you could easily get an A. He's all about effort.

If you are nervous about speech class. . .Prof. Fallon makes the class so easy and will make it go by with a breeze! Attendance is mandatory and being home time does make a differences! Pop Quiz were easy as well as the Exams! You do need to put EFFORT into studying! Anyone who earns anything less than an A . . is simply "lazy" tons of Extra Credit

This professor is truly a great teacher! I really procrastinated taking this class. He makes it where you get so comfortable with the whole class throughout the course that by the time you give your ONE speech it is so easy. I received an A. Just put EFFORT in your work and BE ONE TIME it does make a difference. Take him for SUMMER its too easy!

Very good teacher you can't fail this class. Gives study guides for everything and very informative teacher you really need to take his class.

Great prof, easy A all it takes is effort!

Easy class. homework for almost every single class but it is really easy. He will give you a study guide for the test and you will have to present only one speech of your choice. the speech was only 2:45 and we practice for 3 weeks. Time flew in this class. easy and worth it

Prof. Fallon is a fantastic teacher. I was engaged the whole time, and could actually use what I was taught in the real world. There was consistent HW, but it was really easy. Killer study guides for everything, and LOTS of opportunity for extra credit! I would highly recommend him, easy grade!

Very helpful. He teaches by outlines he puts on the board and you copy it down. He gives outlines for the quizes and as long as you fill it out and study you will be fine. They are usually four questions. He also gives reviews for the midterm and final. If you are a shy person and do not like public speaking this is the perfect class for you!!

I took this Professor back in winter of 2014 and he was my very last class before graduating. I am glad i took his class. He is funny, keeps the class alive, instead of being dead asleep. His test and quiz's are mad easy. There should be no reason to fail them or his class. I plan on taking his SPC 1608. He is the best, I wish others were like him

Fallon is a little weird but he keeps you in the game. i harder doubt you will fall asleep in his class. The class is pretty easier 1 homework and week on the chapter about 5-10 problems maybe a pop quiz there but overall A teacher

If you guys want accuracy here you go. The positive side of Professor fallon is he is an awesome teacher, very fair, easy, funny, nice, gives extra credit annnd even gives you a review sheet that mirrors the final and test. He knows what it's like being a slow student. The down side is he can be a little anal with small rules like being on time

Like one of the comments, it is true, he is anal about the little things. However, he is very clear on how he wants things done in his class. Tons and tons of extra credit throughout the course. Pay attention and listen to what he has to say.

Best Professor EVER!!!!! I enjoyed every moment of his class. He is fear and funny and nice. I hate speeches but he made it sooo easy for us. U can learn so much from his class besides speech. He is a Great man and I really love him!!! Take him you won't regret. Btw you just have to give one speech for 2:30 to 3:00 min which is nothing.

This guy is amazing!! Funny as hell, and he will make it worth the time. I have him for three hours and there is not a moment you arent learning something. He is very passionate about what he teaches. Show up on time and take clear notes and you won't have a problem with pop quizzes and tests. Like he would say,"it's all about EFFORT".

Amazing professor! Easy A, only reason I got a B was because of lates and absents but overall awesome class, everything is stated clearly on the syllabus and he also allows for retakes! I would definetely take his class again, I am so glad I took him for my first semester! Looking forward to being a BC student.

Personally, Prof Fallon was one of the best instructors I have ever had. He gave amazing lectures and also some valuable life lessons. But to pass you need to do well on the pop quizzes and tests, which aren't too hard, you just need to pay attention in class and study a little. And don't be late or absent because he takes off points.

Gary is a awesome teacher had class once a week for 3 hours. pop quizes were every class. his notes were all layed out and simply. He wants you to be successful in the class. just make sure your on his good side. has a projects, just follow the directions carefully and your good to go.

Prof Fallon comes off as a tough teacher but he's really nice. There were pop quizzes from the notes taken on the board make sure to write everything. One 3 min powerpoint speech presentation. Make sure your not late to class.

Prof Fallon is a cool guy who really knows his stuff. If you come to class pay attention, and take notes, you'll do just fine. He tests based on his examples so definitely pay attention during his lecture. He's a nice guy but everything in his class must be completed exactly as asked or your grade will be compromised. Other than that, easy class.

Professor Fallon was one of the best professors Ive ever had. He keeps you entertained throughout his lectures and gives amazing advice throughout his class. Attendance matters!! His syllabus is very clear. Write notes exactly as presented. Study notes and youll do great on his test. His reviews are his actual test. 3 min. PowerPoint speech.

Prof!! He likes being called that! He is awesome! Honestly, he is super clear. There are no surprises on what he requires, he tells you everything you need to know. The study guide is the key to an A on his exams its literally the test. Put in the work and do exactly as he says Hes very funny, willing to help but you must participate.

Prof. Fallon made this class so easy. There is quite a bit of hw but none of its hard. Follow his instructions, do the work, and there's no way you don't get an A. His tests are based on his notes not on the textbook. SHOW UP FOR THE NOTES or get someones contact info. I have social anxiety and dreaded taking this class. So glad I took it with him!

make sure you follow the instruction of his hw exactly as he say, otherwise he will take credits off your hw. he give a lot of extra credits but if you show up for class and do your work you will pass the class.

prof. Fallon is the best. he makes his lectures very interesting and funny. you're so engaged listening to him that the time passes by. only con is that he is very serious about being late. I FEARED going to class when the semester started , but after wards I wanted to go to class. his exam,quiz,test are the SAME thing as the notes. literally.

Very easy to get an A if you pay attention on his lectures, take notes. All test has a review sheet. He is very kind person and love teaching. Im fascinated on the way he talks and acts. You will never want to take your eye off from him.

THE BEST!!!! His lessons are literally life lessons. I never rate anybody but he deserves it because I don't understand how his overall rating isn't a 5.0. Pop quizzes every class. I highly recommend taking him, quizzes every class but everything is in the notes. 2 major test & 1 final exam which he gives study guides for just fill it out & study those. Easy & fun assignments. Also 1 speech presentation at the end, but he helps prepare you for it. Its not as bad as it sounds trust me! Take him online you wont regret it.

He works on effort. If you don't try in this class you won't pass. He takes attendance . So be there. He really helped me come out of my shell and become more confident with speaking. You will not regret taking his class. If you do your best and homework, it's impossible to fail. He's very passionate and you receive a grade immediately.

I lost my sister a day before this past Thanksgiving & it was a constant struggle for me to get through everyday especially the holidays, but I decided to register for spring semester anyways. This class was so fun & therapeutic. Prof. Fallon has helped me during the worst moment of my life & Im truly grateful. My sister would be so proud of me.

Professor Fallon is by far the best professor at broward college. He genuinely loves what he does and its inspiring to hear him lecture. Its the easiest class, all you have to do is show up and take notes (which are extremely similar to the tests). This class helped me in all aspects of my life, I definitely recommend taking him!
