Teaches directly from power point. Test are over what was covered in the power point. Test are not hard, and are also graded on a scale. Great guy, unexpectedly funny. Take and study notes and you'll earn an A easily.

The tests are difficult. Not only must you read the material, you must have a full understanding of the concepts as well. Test quest. are not straight-forward, you MUST have full understanding of material. He goes very quickly through his lectures, so write fast.

This class was kinda hard. Everything is on a powerpoint. If you take notes and go to class, you should do okay. Don't take it at 8 in the morning because he takes attendance everyday. Kinda hard to learn in such a big class, but it was alright.

A brilliant fellow, takes his job seriously, but is way fun! He will motivate you to learn, and you will want to study for his class. Very funny and clever.

Challenging class, yet interesting. Motivates students to learn and challenge themself. You can tell he really cares for his students. He will go out of his way to make you think! The women seem to really like him. Only teaches Fall Semesters, so take him when you can. You will have to earn your A (or B), but it is well worth it. Cool dude!

Definitely recommend, esp if you are thinking about psychology as a major. He will interlace lecture with real life, and provoke thought too. Articulate & very interactive. Tests not easy but he is fair, grading on a curve. Study, attend class prepared (he takes roll), and you will learn alot. Sleep or slouch, and you'll easily fail.

If you are going to take PSY 1101 then take it with Mr. Huddleston. He is fun to be around and make the class enjoyable. The only bad thing is he only teachs in the fall. Test are hard but he gives a solid curve.

I took this class concurrent and I am really glad that I did!! To pass this class all you have to do is study before the test. Class time is spent lecturing about the topics in the book. He explains things very clearly and is always willing to help! he's great!

Professor Huddleston is an amazing teacher!! If you have any trouble with psy. then he will try and clarify as much as he can! You'll do great in his class if you actually showed up for class, take a few notes, and ask questions if you don't understand then you should make a good grade!!!

this teacher is AMAZING!! i would highly recommened him over anybody! Hes funny and very enjoyable to be around and even though i have a morning class it was worth it! I really loved this class very interesting, never a dule moment. the book is useful because most queations come from it and his lectures. There is excrat credit is easy all you have to do is go to class and watch the music videos and write how it applys to the lecture. He always makes it worth coming to school. He love what he does and so take him.

Professor Huddleston was fantastic! He responds to emails very quickly and gave a VERY helpful study guide to the final exam. If you have three or less absences, he gives a generous curve on your tests. Believe me, without the curve I would have gotten a C or D, and not an A. He is very helpful. AND FUN

This was my most challenging class as well as my favorite! Mr. Huddleston is absolutely amazing. It is obvious that he loves what he's doing and that he wants you to succeed. He grades extremely fairly and gives extra credit on the four exams. (Not the final) And if you don't miss more than 3 classes, you can earn even more! I loved this class!!!!

Very good professor! Class was interesting and the lectures were easy to understand. However the tests were a bit difficult, because they recquired critical thinking. I never bought the book, so if you take good notes, study, and go to class you will do fine. ( he does offer extra credit)

Huddleston is a great teacher. He was very concerned in his students success and would help you out in any way possible. I reccomend him, since psychology is not the easiest subject to understand. Do well on the papers and your grade should reflect that. His tests are a little difficult, he doesnt give a study guide but extra credit is available.

Very fun and uses a music video to wake and shut you up at the beginning of every class! Def. go everyday (it allows you to receive the curve on tests), and the book was more helpful than the powerpoint. I stopped taking notes in class and just read each chapter and made an A. He is a great prof!

Very fun class. Uses music videos for extra credit. high curve on tests. I made C's and they ended up being A's. two very easy papers - mostly grades them on APA format. Lectures are hard to copy, so find a shortcut to your notes.

I loved Dr. Huddleston! When I first entered his class it was an auditorium style seating and I was extremely shy and nervous to speak out loud, but by the middle of the semester (if that long) I was raising my hand and asking plenty of questions and he REALLY made you feel like no question is a dumb question, which I LOVED! Prof Huddleston is my favorite prof! I took a psych course at OU and was dumbfounded by the lack of knowledge the teacher had about the subject. Entering Prof Huddelston's class I did not have high expectations. But he definitly proved me wrong. HE IS AMAZING! I have never had a prof as knowledgable about a subject as he is, and he makes it fun!!

He was great! Attendance is required in order to receive curve. however, if you miss a day for being ill or for an emergency he is more than understanding. Class discussions are interesting and if you do well on the assigned paper and regularly attend class, you will do well and take away a lot from the class!

If you're a person that follows the syllabus, he may not be for you; however, his spontaneity is fun and always favors the student. Attendance is mandatory if you want the curve. Though his test are difficult, it's just terminology. As long as you study, and engage in discussions during class you will do fine. He will work with you when you don't understand. Take the initiative to communicate with him when you are in need, it shows you care and that's all that matters.
