He is the best deal for Speech or public speaking. Classes are fun and relaxing. YoU will leave this class a better and more confident speaker. You are guarenteed a A, as long as you go to class and prepare for the only 2 speech that you must present. I would recommend him to everyone.

Awesome teacher!! Very interesting and fun.. Lets you do alot of public speaking in small groups and builds you up for larger groups. Also, he gives you a review sheet for EACH test. The review sheet is then the duplicate of the test. STUDY THE REVIEW SHEET TO A 'T'... I truly enjoyed this class. You will enjoy each lecture!!

he is a very nice and fun teacher. he talks ALOT, but other than that he lets you out way early and lets go over only what we need to learn in the class, unlike all the other garbage that the other teachers make us learn. TAKE HIM- YOU WILL BE SATISFIED!!

Talks a lot but is great professor. Fair grading, just don't miss classes and you should be fine.

I am taking him right now and he is excellent. He makes you feel very comfortable and is very easy to speak to. Improve throughout the class and your grade will be an A. As he says, "you have to try to get a C or lower in this class." I have recommended him to everyone. I have learned a great deal from him---fun.

I will like to say that he is a very kool teacher and all! But is is also a Prick! He dont give out A's and If you are not talktive like him you will receive a b or c on ur speeches! You have to suck up inorder to get an A. Which is easy to get but he just wont give!!

How can anyone say that this teacher does not like to give A's. The fact is this is a speech class, therefore your speech must be presented with confidence and have the necessary content. I got an A in his class and I never suck up to him. If you can not get an A or B in this class then you're just lazy. he his the BEST speech professor at BCC

I took the 7:30am class this class was very easy only couple speaches since the huricane messed everything up. No tests. The best if you want to get done easy and fast. Dont expect to learn a lot. But hes the best of em all. a lot of fun.

He is a cool teacher. He is a little too free and happy-go-lucky. But you learn the basics of speech by practicing and making speeches in the class. He also will put you in groups for some of your speeches. He hardly gives homework so to get an A jus cpomplete whatever work does give, and if you have a problem with your speech he'll help u with it.

KICK ASS SWEET!!!! this teach is A1 Steak sauce on the 16oz Porter House they call education. Key Word *-Communication!-* Thats what the class is all about. Fear Not and ur question shall be answered... Just call the man if u need help or have a problem if you fail this class this only means and prooves that you trully are StoopiD! #1 in my book

He is really funny. Easy test. If you take him on Friday he is the best. He will go through the class's materials really quick but he won't give you a hard test. In his syllabus he gives all the definitions, a few, you need to know. one or two speech, and follow his instructions, he is extra cool, that is your A for the class.

Take FRIDAY class its a JOKE! this guys is something else! class consists of talking and then sometimes he will teach. we did one speech as a grade.

The man goes straight for the kill, even if you don't notice. The textbook is not crucial. He has fun activities and loves Football and YouTube beyond belief. Inquire about his engagement story.

This class is a joke until it comes to speeches. If you want a good grade on your speech make sure you make the required time. If you don't you'll automatically get a C or lower. So even if you have to BS it, make sure its the required time. He's not too quick to give out A's either but overall a pretty easy class & EXTREMELY laidback professor.

He was the best teacher I have ever had. This was my favorite class of all time. He goes over a chapter in the book in like 2 mins. Lets out class, most of the time like 2 hours early. Always takes breaks during class. He also has partys in his class. Would reccomend him to anybody

Easy A. Take him if you want to pass with an easy grade. I'm a shy guy, but he made it really simple and fun to do the speeches. We had parties in there and it gives a chance to get to know people so it makes it easier to stand up and do the speeches. He let us out extremely early every-time. He's a really laid back. Highly recommended.

Great teacher. Im so satisfied with the way he teachs. Definitly not a boring teacher. Always has something interesting to say and he is always informed about everything that is going on. Great teacher and he definitly made a hard class into an interesting one.

Awesome teacher! Knew his stuff for real! Was a little tough on the tests, but he warned us before and gave us a GREAT study guide. Very specific with everything so watch out for those tiny mistakes!!! Would definitely recommend him to a friend...

I have to say that his class was good. I was hesitant about this class, but after a few weeks I felt a lot more comfortable. If you do well on the midterm exam, you won't have much trouble with the speech grades. There are two speeches and more than enough time to practice.

public speaking is my worst nightmare. i dropped taking speech so many times that i could no longer take it at bc so i had to take public speaking to fulfill the credit instead. he actually made me feel comfortable. i got an A in this class. if you have the chance, take him.. he is excellent.

Great professor! you will have 2 speeches one midterm 20 quest. true or false and the final is not mandatory i didnt take it and i still got a B+ in the class and i failed my midterm with a F super easy, funny guy, comes off of topic alot though n grades easy 2 and when u study for the midterm or final its only the vocab words take him if u can.

If you want a good grade in speech, I TOTALLY recommend him. There's really 2 main assignments which are 2 speeches a mid term and final which he he makes a bit tricky. He is funny. He reminds me of a younger Robin Williams lol. He sometimes tend to go off subject but at the end it had something to do with it. Great professor.

He is absolutely the best....He's fun, interesting, and makes the class worth coming to. I wish I could take him again. He is one of the best professors out there.

The classes are fairly easy but I had to fight for my A. I was not a favorite! Lecture is 15 mins max and classes end in half the time alotted. If you are Hispanic you are a favorite. He definitely has his favorites!!!!!!!!

Miller was a great prof. He didn't use the textbook much but you do learn in his class how to give a speech and develop better habits when talking in front of an audience. The speeches you give are very important for your grade so practice the speech and do what is required and attend each class and you'll get an A!!! He is an interesting person!

He is one of the easiest professors you will EVER meet!!! He lets you use notes or the book the last 10 minutes of the MIDTERM and he also give you the CHOICE of taking a final if you like your grade. I mean, there's only TWO speeches throughout the whole course! I don't know what else to say! He's extremely helpful but you do have to attend class.

This is the easiest professor by far! He usually requires 2 speeches, midterm & final is optional. This class we only had to do 1 speech, midterm, & attendance & participation was graded. EASY A!!!! He likes to cut class short & goes off topic a lot. I didn?t read the book and I still got an A!

One of the best Speech professors at Broward College by far. He has a thing for google, but if you ask him a detailed question on his background as a lawyer or today's current events, you can gurantee most of the class will fly by. He only has two speeches, one mid-term, and an optional final. I highly recommend to take him, you will not regret it!

Prof. Miller is one of the Best Speech Professors at Broward College, Attendance is a small part of your grade, the midterm is tricky, he will get you if you don't pay attention. Speech is not that hard. He is a great guy, and sometimes goes off on random things, but still one of the best. I got an A after he said I had a B.

Super easy A. He'll try to scare you with the first grade but just show him you're working hard and you'll get an A. He let's you out super early. I took him during the summer and only gave 2 speeches.

GREAT Professor. Very Funny Guy. Just make sure you pay attention in class and you will be just fine with the midterm and the final is optional also will only give 2 group speeches but will be graded individually so group members does not affect your grade. TAKE THIS PROF. EASY A if you work for it.

Great and fair teacher. If you make the effort to learn he will help. He does let you out early but knows that you are an adult and expects you to act like one and study. Tricky questions on exam but not hard. Trust me you will like him and for those who dropped the class, it is your loss because he is known in his industry and is experienced!

Take speech in the summer. There's less people and it's more chill. You only had to do 1 speech and as long as it reached min. time, you're good. Just make sure you study for the midterm and final. Your whole class grade pretty much depends on it. But if you do well on the midterm, you don't have to take the final.

Love this professor! I was really dreading taking speech but he made it really comfortable. We only did one group speech, and one midterm. The final was optional. I never thought I would actually look forward to my speech class. I recommend him to everyone.

This professor is excellent! He takes into account good attendance. Offered help with everyone’s speech (just ask). The midterm is tricky (got a B), had I studied more I would have received an A, like some of my classmates. No one left with less than a C. An easy A if you apply yourself, and perfect for those that only care for a passing grade.

This class was a breeze.The midterm was T/F questions. He discussed different subjects with the class daily. a very lively professor, likes to joke around and created a great atmosphere. helped me practice and sharpen up my speech after class. I got an A overall. If you prefer boring and mundane please do not take his class. he's fun.

overall great class/ professor, he will try to seem intimidating the first day because he wants you to take him seriously. He doesn't ask you to "stay after class" what he does is use half of the class period for lecture and the second half he tells you that you are free to go but recommends you remain for help with your speeches or any questions.

Summer six week session 2014. First hour of class is lecture and you have to pay attention because he is all over the place. Second half is interactive, he gives you the option to stay and learn or leave EARLY. Prof. Miller went above and beyond to make sure my classmates and I were successful.

Professor Miller is smart, funny and he is def a good speaker and knows his stuff. If you do as he says and follow instructions you will have no problem. Try to Stay after class and he will help you with your speech, he is very reasonable. Attendance is a must!!!

Mr. Miller enjoys to help the students practicing their speeches; he takes the time to give you good bits of advice. The best part is when he takes action; Yes! He can demonstrate a speech from any topic. And it makes him a good teacher. It is not just a lecture. He talks fast for me but clear, so you just have to pay attention. Read the book.

Prof Miller is great. I got an A in his class simply by doing what he told everyone to do : practice your speech with him after class. Many students hav an out line but they dont PRACTICE their speech, they give their speech and it sucks because they never practiced, then they get mad with their low grade. LOL. I can say nothing but good things about him. Literally easiest grade I've ever received. I did a 5min. speech and the midterm and that is all I got an A.. HE IS AWESOME.. doesn't try to kill you. JUST DO WELL on the speech and your fine the test I took was ULTRA easy and last 10 min was open book.

Probable the easiest class to get an EASYYY A! Literally all you have to do: Midterm and speech... and that is it! Just make sure it is 4-5 minutes long. You have to use textbook for midterm but it is only 15 true or false questions. The speech, study but you can use your index cards while saying speech. Just dont lok at your cards the whole time!
