Gary was great, very helpful,went out of his way to help me understand different areas of business. If you want to major in business, take him, even if you don't you will learn a lot. Professor Niedermier's a great teacher. He doesn't go by the book for his lectures, however he does really try to teach you things you need to know in the real world of business. He assigned 3 tests and one group project. The 3 tests were really easy and just go basically off the book, he throws the lowest score out. Totally recommending him.

Really easy and enjoyable class. Actually learn a lot from him though the tests are based solely off the book and he doesn't write them himself so you don't actually apply the knowledge you gain from his class except maybe in the group project. The class is definitely worth taking.

I got an A with legitimately<8 hrs spent on this class altogether. (Then again im a pretty smart HS student..) He tosses out your lowest scoring exam, and the group project (which is graded rather easily), accounts for a large part of your grade. Take him, hes easy.

One day he gave helpful tips for interviewing, someone asked if it was going to be on a test. He said no, they stopped paying attention, this is the competition out there folks. Great teacher, I took his class a while ago, I still keep in touch with him and he has always been very helpful with everything. Highly recommended.

This teacher is without the doubt one of the best teachers I've ever met in my life. He teaches you not only academical stuff that is mandatory in the class requirement, but also his real world experiences that we all will encounter sometime in our future. Professor Niedermier is a good teacher... he knows the subject well and has lots of great business and investment tips. However, the group projects were very stressful. Overall, I would recommend his class.

The class "material" is really fun however the actually lectures were kinda boring & put me to sleep. nonethelss I enojoyed taking him. The class very clear. 1 1-2 page book review, value line project or should I say copy & paste project. a group business plan/ presentation (easy)! 3 midterms the 3rd is the final technically, drops the lowest one!

Great teacher! Really teaches you about LIFE; not just a bunch of textbook mumbo jumbo. Class is only easy if you keep up with the reading and put in significant thought into projects. Overall, pretty relaxing class that isn't demanding. Take him if you want to come out with better buisness sense.

Mr. Niedermier, is the best professor in De Anza College. I am an accounting major, took this class for my GE courses, enjoyed it tremendously. Gary is a great teacher. I just enjoyed learning in his class. He has Quiz based on lecture notes, so you really have to pay attention in his class. He has 3 exams in total and drop the lowest one. He will give you tips before exams. Exams and quiz are easy. Study hard and you will get good grade! I got an A finally. Recommend!

This teacher cares about you learning and he will really teach you about business which is rare amongst other teachers. Really nice to every person, no favorites, and will never make you feel stupid or anything. Class was fun and getting an A is simple.

This is a usefulclass for everyone,not just business students.He teaches you how to become an employer not an employee.Overall,this teacher is probably harder than the other BUS10 teacher,mainly because there is a lot of reading.You read the textbook and two novel.The class isn't THAT easy,but a B is probably guaranteed.Try hard and youll get an A.

He is a very good professor. He takes care of his students. The class is pretty organized. You will be very clear of the exam(s) time. 3 quiz of the book, warrant buffet; 3 lectures quiz, 3 exams and lower score drops; one business plan and one bonus exam for extra credit. Recommend to take him!

Lectures are a bit boring and he takes attendance. But other than that, Mr N is great to take! His classes are structured and he teaches clearly. Also, he relates what he teach to his own personal experience. Not much HW, finals, test and quizes are easy if u pay attention in class. But there is an easy personal project and group presentation.

The teacher is good and the class isn't too difficult, quite some reading though. The class is pretty useless and a lot of the stuff u learn is common sense, but it isn't his fault. He has to follow a curriculum. I probably wouldn't take the class again only because I see no practical use for what I learned. He tells interesting personal stories.

Great teacher and really cares for his students. Some questions from Warren Buffet & "In-Class" quizzes can be tricky though. Takes a while to respond to emails. His goal is to make you think differently about life, which is awesome. He has conquered a lot in life and is very inspirational, and he knows what he's talking about.

Niedermier is a great professor. I thoroughly enjoyed the lectures and he has a very concise way of speaking which keeps the class attentive. He also creates an easy going environment which is very comfortable thus creating a very enjoyable learning environment. Great lectures, uses real life application and experiences, not many teachers do that. Taught tons of practical material. Learning to piece together a solid Business Plan was a great take-away.

He is not your ordinary Professor thats for sure. He teaches more than theoretical and more to application. He is considerably harder than other professor. You will be taught how to read stocks ( value line), presentations and he will give you an insight on what the future would be. Recommended if you want practical lessons.

He teaches more to practical things and he changes your way of thinking for business! He teaches different than the textbook, but you need the textbook for the tests.

Good introduction class for Freshman interested in Business, it's easier to keep up with if you've taken acct or econ. Basic things to expect such as reading the book, coming to class, turning work in on time. Clear grading and due dates are given early. More of a dialogue vs. a lecture.

The prof. was great at his job and caring about his students future success. More than business he delves into bonds and stocks. Very entertaining lectures and group work helps to break the ice. Presentations in front of the entire class can be scary but must be done to further the business major, so be prepared and have plenty note cards.

His class is very easy to pass if you come lecture and actively participate. His quizzes are from lecture and tests come straight from the textbook. I just took a few notes and didn't need to do a ton of review. He offers some good career advice and encourages everyone to follow their own passions. Awesome business professor!!

Really enjoyed this class. The only assignments are readings with no-sweat multiple choice mini quizzes. There are 2 projects that you have plenty of time to work on in class. Professor Niedermier's online class was very straightforward and overall pretty easy. Lots of reading in the textbook but what college class isn't? You will use the online Connect website to do all homework and tests, but over all is an easy grader with the things he does have you work on outside of Connect.

This professor is the best! His constructive criticism always motivated me, he never tears you down but instead shows you where you need to improve on not only in the class work but life in general.
