Learn how to do what you missed on early tests -- the final was a compilation of old tests, so either learn how to do it or memorize how to do it -- he changes #s around, so don't memorize answers

About the top 10 students who do not take the final, they're grades are no longer factored into the curve so the class average decreases and the class standard deviation also decreases. Thus, those who do well but didn't make it into the top 10 have a better chance of getting an A.

It is insane how the grading changed to a bell curve for the one semester that Hogan wasn't teaching, and he's coming back next semester. In what world is an 89 a C+ in a class!!

Pielak down curves to meet a bell curve. In what world is an A = 97.47, A- = 95.5, and B+ = 93.5. That's insane; in previous semesters with Prof. Hogan, a cutoff of only 90 was required to receive an A in the same biochemistry course.

He put the wrong grades into connect carolina AFTER the 72 hour deadline, which now has to be approved by the registrar and won't be put in for several days.

In what world should a 97.5 be the cutoff for an A in the class? His grading curve is disrespectful and unacceptable to all of us who worked hard in his class. He does not care about students, as he made the final super easy (simply combining the midterms) just so our class average would go up, allowing him to implement this psychotic bell curve.

This professor decided to give everyone below a 88.9 a C plus or worse. Students with a B in this class get a C minus? Does Gary realize he is intentionally failing students who now have to retake a core premed course? Unless you had above a 97.5 or higher, your GPA is ruined, and only because of this math that was completely out of your control.

Gave a copy-and-pasted final exam with 70/80 repeat questions from previous midterms, leading to an inflated class average course grade—whose fault is that? Not the students' fault. Yet, decided to apply a bell curve that would down curve many students. It is not acceptable for a course to equate an 80 to a C- letter grade.
